Jornalismo e cidadania: análise de conteúdo do Notícias de Moçambique nas eleições de 2024 na perspectiva cidadã

Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand how the Mozambican newspaper Notícias covered issues related to citizenship during the 2024 presidential election campaign. It examines how the newspaper covered the elections from the perspective of civil, political, and social rights through the publication of a special supplement. In this way, it also aims to examine how the journalism practiced by the newspaper frames news information, highlighting and/or silencing the discussion on certain rights. To this end, the study will follow a qualitative approach, including a bibliographic survey and documentary research. The corpus will also be subjected to a content analysis proposed by Bardin (2010).
