Item type: Item , A mulher na produção de podcasts educacionais: pesquisa-ação com a rádio UEG Educativa(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2026-03-27) Pasa, Mikaela Esber; Cassiano, Katia Kelvis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1461975180324090; Cassiano, Katia Kelvis; Agnez, Luciane Fassarella; Oliveira, Thaís RodriguesThis research aims to analyze women as producers of educational podcasts. The methodology adopted is of a qualitative-quantitative nature, structured through the triangulation of methods. The first method consists of a bibliographic analysis (Lakatos; Marconi, 2002) on the podcast format, the media that influenced it—such as radio—the role of university radio stations as tools of public communication, and, finally, the role of women as science communicators in Brazil. In the second stage, which has a more quantitative character, an audio-structural analysis (AAP) (Pinheiro; Mustafá; Silva, 2021) was conducted on four podcasts produced and distributed by Rádio UEG Educativa. These podcasts share a common element: all were produced by women with an educational purpose. A general analysis of the programs was carried out, as well as an examination of the five most listened-to episodes of each podcast, based on data obtained from the Spotify Creators platform. Finally, the third method used was action research (Engel, 2000), which applied the knowledge produced in the previous stages to the development of a product: the podcast De Coras a Carolinas (Rádio UEG Educativa). Its production was followed from conception to distribution, and an audio-structural analysis of the ten published episodes was also conducted. This made it possible to identify recurring factors in the other analyzed podcasts, such as the presence of predominantly female teams, convergent themes, and similar formats. Thus, it was possible to analyze women as podcast producers both through a bibliographic survey and through an empirical scope composed of five podcasts produced within an educational context.Item type: Item , A representação do personagem revolucionário no cinema sobre ditadura militar: uma análise dos filmes O Bom Burguês (1985), Cabra Cega (2005), O Pastor e o Guerrilheiro (2023)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2025-12-15) Queiroz, Güinewer Inaê Bueno de; Oliveira, Rodrigo Cássio; lattes.cnpq.br/0545897116631093; Oliveira, Rodrigo Cássio; lattes.cnpq.br/0545897116631093; Nogueira, Lisandro Magalhaes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6994570742767643; Abdala Junior, Roberto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7014946989727038Through film analysis, this work seeks to study the representation of the revolutionary figure in Brazilian cinema when in regards to films about the civil-military dictatorship of 1964. In this research, it is made a map of the biggest possible number of cinematographic works that speak on this theme since the beginning of the regime 60 years ago. Films in which the revolutionary character is the protagonist or one of the protagonists of the narrative are analyzed in more depth, with the support of bibliography, among those found, the following were chosen: O Bom Burguês (1983). Cabra Cega (2005) and O Pastor e o Guerrilheiro (2023). The core of the research lies in identifying modulating characteristics of the Hero archetype in these representations, like the characteristics of intellectuality, sacrifice and similarities with the herald archetype. By so, using these to observe the different trends and changes in Brazilian cinematographic productions over the years, due to the country's economic and socio-political circumstances, and how they directly influence the representations of both the dictatorship as an event, and historical figures such as the revolutionaries.Item type: Item , Streaming, ficção seriada e Netflix: uma nova forma de imperialismo cultural?(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2026) Fulquim, Felipe Ferreira de Souza; Santos, Alexandre Tadeu dos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8783109007334551; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; Coca, Adriana PierreThis research aims to understand whether the production and distribution of serialized television fiction titles on streaming services represent a new phase of North American imperialism based on the analysis of the content of series releases with the Netflix Originals seal in its Brazilian catalog. The theoretical reflections of this work will be made based on the readings of authors who problematize historical issues such as the eras and end of television, changes in the production of serialized fiction, monitoring of the television and streaming industries, and transversality in a context of globalized connections. To this end, we propose to methodologically analyze the content of the monitoring table of the releases of original series considering the themes - countries of origin and year of release - as the main categories of analysis. Initial conclusions from the observation of quantitative data lead us to infer that even in the face of the predominance of titles produced in the United States, there is a growing volume of productions from the ten main countries that are on the list of producers, with representation of Asians, Europeans, and South Americans among the content of Netflix original series.Item type: Item , Modelagem conceitual de acervos de bibliotecas digitais em literatura infantil e juvenil(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2026-02-23) Silva, Aparecida de Oliveira; Castro, Maria das Graças Monteiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4558338917302505; Castro, Maria das Graças Monteiro; Rezende, Laura Vilela Rodrigues; Oliveira, CássiaEmbargoItem type: Item , Jornalismo e cidadania: análise de conteúdo do Notícias de Moçambique nas eleições de 2024 na perspectiva cidadã(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2026-02-27) Padeira, Mendes Zeferino Pereira; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5759623883813822; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira de; Freitas, Luiz Antônio Signates; Fernandes, Luiz Carlos do CarmoThe aim of this study is to understand how the Mozambican newspaper Notícias covered issues related to citizenship during the 2024 presidential election campaign. It examines how the newspaper covered the elections from the perspective of civil, political, and social rights through the publication of a special supplement. In this way, it also aims to examine how the journalism practiced by the newspaper frames news information, highlighting and/or silencing the discussion on certain rights. To this end, the study will follow a qualitative approach, including a bibliographic survey and documentary research. The corpus will also be subjected to a content analysis proposed by Bardin (2010).Item type: Item , A politização da comunicação em Angola: a interferência política na linha editorial do Jornal de Angola e do Jornal Folha 8(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2026-02-27) Mendes, Augusto de Sousa; Oliveira, Tiago Mainieri de; Oliveira, Tiago Mainieri de; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; Silva, Elson SantosEmbargadoItem type: Item , Comunicação e radicalismo partidário no Brasil: hábitos de consumo de mídia, bolhas informacionais e comportamento político extremista(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2025-12-18) Santos, Aline dos; Mundim, Pedro Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0065670247671119; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8829860934484429; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8829860934484429; Freitas, Luiz Antônio Signates; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0464596762919932; Borba, Felipe de Moraes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9421155244718142This dissertation investigates the relationship between media consumption habits and partisan radicalism in Brazil, with the purpose of identifying how these media ecosystems, including social networks, can enable the growth of extremist political behaviors. To this end, it uses a quantitative approach, analyzing data from the opinion survey "Political Polarization-UnB," conducted between June 12th and 21st, 2024, with a total sample of 2,506 face-to-face interviews. Initially, the topic is contextualized, the problem is stated, the hypothesis, objectives, and justification for conducting the research are presented, along with an overview of recent events in Brazil. Following this, the theoretical framework is presented, highlighting important concepts such as political polarization, partisan radicalism, media, and citizenship. Information on selective exposure, echo chambers, and information bubbles is also provided. The following presents the results of the linear and logistic regression models, which were applied to a subsample of 1,221 people, comprising the group that answered questions about political violence. Telegram showed statistical significance in both scenarios, indicating that phenomena such as information bubbles, echo chambers, and selective exposure can contribute to the growth of extremist political behaviors. Jornal Nacional showed a positive and significant effect in the logistic regression model, pointing to the existence of hostile consumption and conflict salience.Item type: Item , Envelhece mas não some: Uma cartografia do envelhecimento a partir dos olhares de jovens mulheres trans mediados por clipes musicais(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2026-02-06) Caetano, Lucas Alves; Cezar, Adriane Geralda Alves do Nascimento; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019668796589644; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9011537191118959; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9011537191118959; Gonçalves, Gabriela Marques; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4819009141576205; Ribeiro, Vinicios Kabral; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3808463346007921EmbargadaItem type: Item , Web cidadãos: os usos socioculturais das mídias pelos públicos da Prefeitura de Anápolis(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2025-08-28) Lima, Luana Cavalcante; Satler, Lara Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7575445484262991; Satler, Lara Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7575445484262991; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9011537191118959; Bonin, Jiani Adriana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5067996940631872Embargada.Item type: Item , Narrativas de visibilidade: o personagem "anônimo" nos livros-reportagens A vida que ninguém vê, de Eliane Brum, e Holocausto brasileiro, de Daniela Arbex(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2025-04-29) Silva, Amanda Costa e; Borges, Rogério Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8352538837463850; Borges, Rogério Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8352538837463850; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5759623883813822; Martinez, Monica; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7582266062809991Embargado.Item type: Item , A tensão entre a regulação das plataformas digitais e a liberdade de expressão no Brasil: uma análise discursivo-argumentativa envolvendo enunciados econômicos, jornalísticos e jurídicos(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2025-05-30) Carvalho, Karine Rodrigues de; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5759623883813822; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira de; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; Machado, Liliane Maria MacedoIn this research, it was proposed to analyze the arguments and discourses that involve the regulation of digital platforms in Brazil, considering the conflicting relationship with the principle of freedom of expression. From the argumentative analysis of Ruth Amossy's discourse (AAD), the types of argument of Ingedore Koch and the characterizations on the controversy proposed by Marcelo Dascal, it was evaluated as the public debate has been around the issue. It was more specifically to investigate how the journalistic, legal and economic discourses operate in the context of the proposal and subsequent archive of Bill 2630/2020 in the House of Representatives, known as Fake News PEC. Corpus is made up of journalistic articles, official statements by the digital communication platforms and decisions of the Federal Supreme Court ministers who have expressed themselves on the attempted regulation and the operation of these platforms in the country.Item type: Item , Uso de ferramentas de Mobile Learning nas práticas de aprendizagem: uma revisão narrativa(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2025-05-29) Oliveira, Elisa Bomfim Rosario de; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9315618025567235; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Oliveira, Rodrigo Cássio; Oliveira, Laís Pereira de; Melo, Camila Alves deThe objective is to analyze scientific production on the use of Mobile Learning interfaces in multimodal learning practices through a narrative review of the literature. With an essentially qualitative approach, the research is characterized as exploratory. The analysis was carried out in the Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) database, using peer-reviewed and complete texts published in the last 10 years (2015 to February 2025) as a filter. The searches included the keywords: “Mobile Learning,” “Multimodal Reading,” “E-Readers,” “Educational Technology,” “Educational Innovations,” “Mobile Learning,” and Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), covering research in Portuguese and English from scientific articles, books, book chapters, and experience reports. It contextualizes the concept of the “mobile subject,” the development of Mobile Learning practices, the impacts of digital ecosystems on education, and the benefits and challenges of using mobile interfaces in learning. As a result, trends, gaps, and paths for the development of new methodologies, pedagogical practices, and research on the topic are identified. It concludes that Mobile Learning is a powerful tool that can transform educational practices, promoting the ubiquity and flexibility of learning. It highlights the importance of careful Instructional Design and consideration of multimodality to optimize engagement and teaching effectiveness. The resolutions point to the need for more empirical research on the application of Mobile Learning in different contexts, as well as for the development of educational policies that encourage its conscious and effective use.Item type: Item , A informação como arma: análise da cobertura jornalística da guerra da Ucrânia pela imprensa brasileira(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2025-05-27) Vale, Vinícios Martins do; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8829860934484429; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8829860934484429; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5759623883813822; Machado, Liliane Maria Macedo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4419127208068044This research used the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) methodology to analyze the journalistic coverage of the Ukrainian War carried out by two Brazilian digital newspapers, Folha de São Paulo and Nexo Jornal. Using the three-dimensional discourse analysis proposed by Fairclough (2001), the analysis of the articles produced by the media in the seven days following the outbreak of the conflict was carried out, segmenting them into discursive, textual and social practice dimensions. In addition to CDA, the research was based on theories of language developed by various thinkers in the West and the East, as well as theories from the field of communication. When addressing the aspects of communication of interest to military doctrine, the works of Liang and Xiangsui (1999), Hoffman (2007) and Korybko (2015) were used. The genesis of journalistic activity in the West and its connections with the concept of citizenship were also explored. In order to discuss the results of the three-dimensional analysis, in addition to theorists from CDA and other social sciences, Charadeau's (2013) ideas regarding the discourse produced by media outlets were used. As a result of the research, a strong alignment was found between the discourse of Folha de São Paulo and Nexo Jornal with the hegemonic discourse produced by the main Western powers, notably the United States of America (USA). This alignment was identified through discursive and textual markers present in the corpus, and converges with the financial and institutional links of the news outlets with public and private organizations of Western powers, identified through their social practices. Based on a critical view of the power relations between the outlets and these powers, characteristic of CDA, a greater plurality of voices in Brazilian journalism is proposed from international multilateral institutions linked to the Global South, such as BRICS, aiming to achieve a truly civic and democratic communication environmentItem type: Item , Entre a notícia e o ódio: jornalismo, reverberação acrítica e a legitimação simbólica do autoritarismo no Brasil(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2025-06-02) Ferreira, Abner Antônio; Freitas, Luiz Antônio Signates; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0464596762919932; Freitas, Luiz Antônio Signates; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0464596762919932; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5759623883813822; Fernandes, Luiz Carlos do Carmo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4103630694756224This dissertation critically analyzes the role of the Brazilian media in the symbolic legitimation of hate speech delivered by Jair Bolsonaro during the 2018 presidential campaign. Framed within the field of critical communication theory, the research is based on the hypothesis that, rather than ethically challenging authoritarian statements, the mainstream press operated as a vector of uncritical reverberation, reproducing violent rhetoric without the necessary ethical-normative filters, thus contributing to its normalization within the democratic public sphere. The main objective of the study is to examine how Brazilian journalism, in covering Bolsonaro's hate speech, symbolically reinforced his authoritarian rhetoric, thereby weakening the foundations of communicational citizenship. The topic is contextualized within the political and social landscape that led to Bolsonaro’s rise, marked by institutional crises, extreme polarization, and a media environment vulnerable to market and ideological pressures. The research demonstrates that journalism, despite its historical role as a critical mediator, abdicated its deliberative function at various moments, becoming a secondary actor in the symbolic legitimation of authoritarianism. The methodology adopted was qualitative, based on critical discourse analysis. The theoretical framework mobilizes classic and contemporary authors of critical communication theory, such as Pierre Bourdieu (1997), Jürgen Habermas (1984), Stuart Hall (2003), Gaye Tuchman (1978), Luiz Signates (2011; 2019), Cass Sunstein (2018), and Robert McChesney (2013). These authors provide the foundation for understanding journalism as a field traversed by symbolic disputes and ideological interests, as well as for analyzing media practices in contexts of political radicalization and democratic crisis. The dissertation concludes by confirming the initial hypothesis: Brazilian journalism, by privileging editorial strategies rooted in spectacularization, ritualized neutrality, and market logic, decisively contributed to the symbolic legitimation of Jair Bolsonaro's authoritarian discourse. The analyses demonstrate that the studied articles reinforced Bolsonaro’s image, downplayed the gravity of his statements, and silenced the voices of affected populations such as LGBTQIA+, women, Indigenous peoples, and other vulnerable groups. Therefore, the dissertation highlights the urgent need to reconfigure journalistic ethics and reaffirms the commitment of the academic field to critically examine the role of the media in defending democracy and communicational citizenship.Item type: Item , O processo de recepção do telejornalismo por pessoas com deficiências auditivas ou visuais: barreiras, experiências e estratégias de acessibilidade comunicativa(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2025-02-24) Silva, Sabryna Moreno da; Temer, Ana Carolina Rocha Pessoa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2424054335258827; Temer; Temer, Ana Carolina Rocha Pessôa; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; Bonito, Marco AntonioThis study investigates how individuals with hearing or visual impairments access and interpret televised news content, taking into account both the communication barriers they face and the communicative strategies they develop. Grounded in the social model of disability, the research discusses the relevance of inclusive practices in media, assuming the perspective that full access to information is a fundamental right for the exercise of citizenship. To achieve this, in-depth interviews and participant observation were conducted, aiming to understand, in context, the experiences, perceptions, and resources that visually or hearing-impaired individuals mobilize when interacting with televised news. The theoretical framework is based on authors who address communicational citizenship, social responsibility in journalism, and television news studies, as well as research on accessibility and the history of people with disabilities. The methodological approaches propose a tension between functionalism, which emphasizes the integrative social functions of television, and Martín-Barbero, whose focus is on cultural mediation processes in media reception. The findings point to the need for adapted resources, such as sign language interpreters and audio description, and greater editorial attention to ensure the effective inclusion of people with sensory impairments in journalistic content. Thus, this dissertation contributes to discussions on the democratization of communication and offers reflections on broader practices in television news, capable of embracing society’s linguistic and sensory diversity.Item type: Item , Nos meandros da organização da informação digital: análise da taxonomia de assuntos do Portal gov.br(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2025-02-14) Lima, Myriam Martins; Oliveira, Lais Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9389243511130553; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9315618025567235; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Oliveira, Lais Pereira de; Cassiano, Katia Kelvis; Silva, Luciana Candida da; Jesus, Filipe Reis Dias deThis research analyzes the application of the recommended parameters for creating a taxonomic labeling of subjects in the main menu and in the navigation submenus of the Portal gov.br from the perspective of the postulates for the organization of information. It aims to analyze the parameters of the arrangement of subject taxonomic labels in the main menu and navigation submenus of the Portal gov.br based on the guidelines and postulates related to the organization of information in the area of Information Science as a contribution to Public Communication and access information on the aforementioned website. Specifically, it aims to analyze how the information organization is; identify whether the form of organization of applied taxonomic labeling allows Public Communication; and verify the guidelines for organizing information with regard to taxonomic structures according to the mentioned areas of knowledge in the highlighted context. It constitutes a basic, exploratory and descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Uses bibliographic, documentary and case study procedures. The results raise six recommended parameters for creating a taxonomic labeling of subjects that are only partially applied, with two of these parameters being detrimental to users' navigation on the website. It concludes that failure to fully apply the principles has a negative impact on information retrieval in the context of the Portal gov.br.Item type: Item , Além da câmara de eco: desvendando mitos e verdades sobre o consumo informacional dos brasileiros na pandemia de COVID-19(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2025-03-06) Echegaray, Maria Ayeska Andrade; Mundim, Pedro Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0065670247671119; Mundim, Pedro Santos; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; Oliveira, Vanessa Veiga deThis research aimed to detect the presence and analyze the real impact of the echo chamber on Brazilians in relation to the customized consumption of information during the COVID-19 pandemic, taking into account the political and affective polarization of a public health issue by media coverage. More specifically, assess the causes of this phenomenon and the extent to which it has impacted, or not, people's behavior in the face of the pandemic. Understand the true reach of echo chambers in a multimedia communication environment, combining online and offline channels in a transmedia process; checking, within the pandemic context, whether this phenomenon is being overestimated or not. The study maps and explores how far the power of traditional media and digital media goes in promoting echo chambers and how they have impacted, or not, on the behavior and attitudes of Brazilians, based on quantitative analysis of data from the research “Communication in combating COVID-19: Identification of informational inequalities in segments at risk”, coordinated by the Center for Research in Political Communication and Public Health (CPS) at the University of Brasília (UnB) in 2020. Our analyzes found findings of the presence of the echo chamber on a smaller scale than expected, being the phenomenon most easily identifiable in traditional media, especially TV, regardless of the ideological spectrum of the audience. Digital media has surprisingly had the opposite effect of taking people out of their echo chambers. We conclude that the customized consumption of information and the presence in the chambers reach more predisposed individuals who opt for traditional media, especially TV, that is, less educated people, with less interest in politics and follow the protestant religion. Therefore, group identities and affiliations proved to be more important than the ideological spectrum or partisanship in the choices of information sources. As for the impact on the behavior and attitudes of Brazilians, it was not significant according to our study, dismantling theories of media determinism and bubbles formed by digital media algorithmsItem type: Item , K-POP como narrativa transnacional de exportação: uma análise sobre a era Love yourself do BTS e seu diálogo com as armys(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-10-30) Coelho, Wadna da Silva; Satler, Lara Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7575445484262991; Satler, Lara Lima; Santos, Alexandre Tadeu dos; Girardi Júnior, Liráucio; Urbano, Krystal Cortez LuzThis research started from the need to understand how K-pop is successful in the West even though it is a musical genre whose language, sound and visual production are unfamiliar. Seeking to discuss how the process of transnationalization of K-pop to the West occurs and how this genre becomes increasingly popular among the public and also among major brands. The guiding question is: How does the process of transnationalization and rise of K-pop occur in the West? In the search for this answer, Critical Narrative Analysis (MOTTA, 2013) is chosen as a methodological model in which the narrative is analyzed considering the communicational context, going beyond the classical approach. The Theory of Mediations (MARTÍN-BARBERO, 1997) is brought as an ally in cultural analysis, considering social practices, production and relationships established in the different spaces that K-pop occupies. Moving on to the analysis, it is therefore necessary to consider the context of K-pop, its structure, history and form of production and seek to understand in the text – musical and audiovisual production – what elements are present that promote this transnationalization. As an object of analysis, a production by the group BTS called Love Yourself was chosen, in which three video clips are used to understand how communication strategies that facilitate transnationality are applied in the text. The results show that transnationality is present through a narrative that relies on different communicative strategies present in the analyzed text, but also in the social and contemporary context of digital media, also considering the action of the armys in strengthening the transnationality of the works. As a conclusion, in K-pop there is always the use of transnational elements, whether visual, aesthetic or sound, that seek to both facilitate the understanding of the message transmitted and also make it easier for the public to consume. But these elements are understood in different ways according to the cultural context of each fan.Item type: Item , A moda goyana: conteúdos e discursos em jornais regionais do século XIX(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-09-12) Fonseca, Bruna Alecrim; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8386191325702205; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; Borges, Rogério Pereira; Flores, Ana Marta MoreiraThe research examines women's clothing fashion in Goiás from 1830, shortly after the Independence of Brazil - when the territory of the state of Goiás was elevated to the category of province - until the year 1900, in the 19th century. To do this, the content analysis method was used in conjunction with discourse analysis. The dissertation carries out a bibliographical survey on clothing fashion and the history of Goiás, making it possible to develop a detailed investigation of the approaches to advertisements and texts in nineteenth-century Goiás newspapers present in the Hemeroteca Digital Brasileira. Thus, the researcher looked at the collection of 22 periodicals in the region, carrying out targeted searches using the terms “Fashion”, “Clothing”, “Attire”, “Clothes” e “Dress”. The analysis of the periodicals allowed the discovery of countless information about Goiás society in the 19th century and helped in understanding who Goiás women were, how they lived and how they were seen in the period. It was also possible to discover a large part of the materials, clothes and accessories used by these women. The study contributed to a better visibility of women in nineteenth-century society in the state of Goiás through the acts of clothing and social role played via content published in periodicals.Item type: Item , A produção e os acessos de conteúdos jornalísticos de interesse público por meio da ferramenta QR Code: um estudo de caso do jornal O Popular(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-02-05) Rigueiral, Jaísa Gleice Rodrigues dos Santos Picazo; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5759623883813822; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira de; Borges, Rogério Pereira; Carvalho, Rafiza Luziani Varão RibeiroPublic interest in Journalism is both part of professional culture and a deontological and theoretical value in studies on Journalism. This dissertation aims to understand the presence of public interest in the content of the news presented in the TV commercial “Leia Agora em O Popular”, as well as access through the QR Code. This quick response code is a strategy implemented with the aim of gaining readers for the printed and digital versions of the newspaper “O Popular”, founded in Goiás in 1938, and with a wide reach in the state and the Central-West region. This is a case study that combines qualitative and quantitative approaches. Theoretically, the relationship between journalism of business nature and public interest as a component of the social discourse that legitimizes Journalism is discussed, with a view to understanding this new commercial tool. It is also investigated whether the materials of public interest to be made available on the QR Code are present in the selection by the editors and reporters of “O Popular” and whether they are accessed by readers. It is concluded that, although the QR Code is an insignificant strategy for converting readers into subscribers, content of public interest is valued by the newspaper O Popular and also captures the interest of readers.
