Resumo
This investigation tries to contribute to the mathematical development of the student with
moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in basic education, in the municipality of Anápolis
(GO), through the creation of an application, Multiplycare. The epistemological bases were
Vygotsky's psychology and its relationship with the development of the student and also the
dialectical logic, which helps us to think about the contradictions in order to understand the
contradictory and constantly changing reality. The research approach was of a qualitative
nature in collaboration with school ethnography, which allows the researcher to observe the
complexity of the research context, the experiences, the interactions, the documents and the
motivations and interests associated with participant observation in collaboration with
interview and analysis documentary. The research was divided into phases:
observation,intervention and creation of the application for the development of multiplication
skills. In this way, classes from various subjects were observed and then only the subject of
mathematics, together with informal conversation with the teachers and the support teacher,
as well as a structured interview with the mother of the research participant. And the last
phase was the construction of the application, an educational product, in partnership with the
Integrated Center for Network Learning for the Center for Teaching and Research Applied to
Education (Cepae/ UFG). It was not possible to test the application, but it will be done in a
future moment, due to some events, the main one being Covid-19, a disease caused by the
coronavirus, which resulted in the suspension of face-to-face classes and all the dynamics of
social relationships.
