Resumo

This research examines dramaturgy through an autobiographical writing that addresses two interrelated processes: my studies in dramaturgy and my awareness regarding gender identity and sexuality, in which I replace the term transition with awareness. I establish a connection between these processes to discuss the composition of story and character in dramaturgical works, taking as the central object my first play, Meia xícara e Só, written in 2021. I present selected documents as resources that enable a dialogue with the past, revisiting events throughout my trajectory, particularly those occurring between 2021 and 2022, the period encompassing the writing, staging, and circulation of Meia xícara e Só by Companhia de Teatro Pneuma. Guided by a transepistemological perspective on trans narratives, I engage in a critical elaboration of the sex–gender system within dramaturgical narratives. The theoretical framework includes works by Dodi Leal, Renata Pallottini, Renata Carvalho, Leticia Nascimento, Valéria Figueiredo, Juliano Jacopini, Suzi Sperber, among others. I also write letters to researchers whose contributions support the development of this dissertation, emphasizing the concepts of passability, reclusion, and cisplay proposed by Dodi Leal, which I relate to the creation of fiction.
