A composição orgânica do capital e os processos de trabalho nos arranjos produtivos locais da moda em Goiás

Abstract

State investment allows us to observe changes in constant capital in the Organic Composition of Capital. This study initially focused on subjects linked to Local Productive Arrangements (APL) in the fashion industry in the state of Goiás and analysis based on the theory of the labor process. This research answered the following question: what are the consequences in the work process caused by changes in the organic composition of capital promoted by state investment? The process of transforming the organic composition of capital was understood through changes in constant capital. Thus, the steps necessary to achieve the general objective were: to analyze the unfolding of the work process caused by the change in the organic composition of capital promoted by state investment. The specific objectives were: to describe the changes promoted after the use of the Audaces machine; to characterize the Local Productive Arrangement as an inducer of industrial development for clothing manufacturers and for the local/territorial development of the State of Goiás; to explain the Local Productive Arrangement for fashion as a public policy in Goiás with the introduction of machinery. The methodology applied was qualitative with an expanded case study method. Data collection was carried out through in depth interviews, following a semi-structured script; observation activities; and document analysis. For the analysis, the data collected were transcribed, coded, and analyzed with the aid of ATLASti software. Thus, generalizations were developed about the expanded case in contrast to the scope of the research, and the overall objective was made explicit in line with the comparisons found in the published literature. The results confirm that the implementation of constant capital machinery by the state as public policy alters the organic composition of capital in part in the APL. As such, it caused specific changes in work processes, that is, in the technical composition of the garment makers' production line
