Resumo
Thisworkproposestoanalysethepredominantpresenceofwomen in telemarketing companies in Goiânia, basedontherelationbetweenbibliographicand oral sources, intermediatedby interviews carried out bytheresearcher. In thissense, theresearchtakesplacethroughtheintersectionbetweenthehistoryofwomen in theworking world andthedevelopmentofthetelecommunications sector, orientingitselftothecomprehensionofhow it acts as a market for attractingprecarious, overexploitedandunderpaid labor. Tothisend, theinvestigationsunfoldfromthe perspective oftheproductiverestructuringthatstarted in the 1970s, whose boom marksthe 1990s, theapexoftheconsolidationofBrazilianneoliberalism. Thisprocesshighlightstheconfigurationoftheso-called “precariat”, markedby a majoritycomposedofsociallyandhistoricallymarginalizedgroups, concentratingonthoseidentified as feminizedandracialized. Therefore, thegender approach israised, focusedonanassociationbetweengender, classandrace, sothatsuch connections are abletoincorporatethemostdiversefractionsofwomeninserted in theworkingcondition, whethersalariedornot, emphasizingontheimportanceofthereproductivesphere as a pillarofcapitalism. Thus, therelationshipbetweenoppressionandexploitationprovidesthebasis for thecourseoftheproject, as it deciphersthebourgeoisstrategyofreappropriating social antagonisms, as well as establishingthem in therelationshipbetween capital and labor.
