Resumo
This project proposes the development of a passive exoskeleton for upper limb rehabilitation, designed to assist children aged 2 to 6 with low mobility and limited range of motion. The methodology employed combines Design Thinking, aimed at human-centered problem-solving, with the PDCA cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Act), which ensures organized execution and continuous process evaluation and adjustment. With the aid of 3D modeling in Fusion 360 software, eight specific parts were designed to construct the prototype's structure via 3D printing using ABS filament. Throughout the development phase, extensive research was conducted on upper limb anatomy and biomechanics, focusing on the primary joints shoulder, elbow, and wrist as well as the planes of motion and axes to fully understand body movements.
