This project has the intention to reflect on the formation of ballet teachers in Goiania. The challenges of the process, the development of courses offered for pedagogical skills and technical needs, as well as the use of traditional methods of ballet in place in the city. For this project we apply quantity/qualitative research. A questionnaire to receive answers from the majority of professionals with the intention of better understanding the training of ballet professors in Goiânia. Interviews with four Teachers of previous generations and also work on documents, reports, studies and other forms of records. In this study, we will verify that in Goiânia, the two methods most used and discussed are the Russia School (Vaganova method) and the English school (Royal Academy). The important differences between each of these methods compliment one another in the results of the classic ballet practice.
