Resumo
Studies on environmental perception rarely treat of daily living, leisure or work,
which shape our way of living and make possible the construction of conceptions
and topophilic links which are the basis of our relationship with the place in
which we live. In this study, the technical scientific reason behind modernity
is discussed as well as our resultant distancing from nature and the world in
which we live as a direct consequence of changes in life and work. A concrete
rural reality is described, highlighting possible meanings of preservation of the
space-work relationship of those who live in the surroundings of the Serra de
Caldas State Park in Goiás. To do so, the referential theory of phenomenology
was used as well as certain anthroposophical considerations, critiques and
aesthetic education.
