Resumo
This study presents different conceptions of educational practice and its historical
evolution by searching, among several authors, elements to clarify the gap between
Theory and Practice and its socio-cultural effects. It is also aimed at relating the educational
practice, the theory and the curriculum with the values and finalities of Physical Education
programs at Schools.
