Abstract

This article examines some of the basic elements of education reform average from the year 1990, emphasizing especially the issue of training and enhancement of teachers. There are two issues that guide exposure: current policies in Brazil have indicat- ed specifically the possibility of another high school? The formation and current situation of teachers may suggest another project training for high school? The purpose is to contribute to the reflections on the im- plementation of a quality school for all in the context of the mandatory gratuity provided in Constitutional Amendment n. 59/2009.
