Resumo

The paper deals with the perception of the academics of the Librarianship in the Federal University of Goiás about the relationship between informational behavior and misinformation. It aims to identify the relation of the 6th and 8th period regarding the subjects: informational behavior and disinformation, through the exploration of concepts related to the theme, from studies conducted by researchers of the Information Science, to check how these students are addressing these topics. Methodologically, it is classified as a bibliographic and documentary search, using quantitative and qualitative methods with an exploratory-descriptive approach, whose data were collected from the application of an online questionnaire, using closed and semi-open questions. The data were analyzed based on a theoretical framework raised and presented in the paper. The results express that, although they are future librarians and developed skills and techniques to search and use information, during graduation, they keep having difficulty to distinguish the basic concepts of fake news, post-truth, and misinformation. The results point like a recommendation the readjustment of the course curriculum or the offer of a new curricular component based on the information needs of the user, intending to train increasingly competent professionals to know the informational demands of the users.
