O ensino de ciências no contexto das transformações contemporâneas

Resumo

The education and the teaching of science, is a product of complex inter-relationships between society, economy and politics, so that the context in which the country is decisive influence on the paths of educational policies. Since the launching the satellite Sputinik in 1957, from the Soviet Union, started up a new methodology to teach science, with emphasis on the training of future scientists. The characteristics of the teaching of science were wavering in each season, until we reach the twenty-first century with the intention of forming literate citizens from a scientific, well aware of relations between science, technology and society (CTS). Thus, we understand that the teaching of science has evolved considerably with today's attempt to develop responsible citizenship that can deal with science and technology.
