Item Narrativas em áudio: análise de conteúdo de podcasts sobre autismo na podosfera brasileira(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-11-04) Abreu, Tiago Florencio de; Pavan, Ricardo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1247890099444160; Pavan, Ricardo; Temer, Ana Carolina Rocha Pessôa; Vencio, Ricardo Zorzetto NicolielloThis research aims to present the differences and similarities found between four Brazilian podcasts about autism — ABAcast, AspieGirl, AutismoCast and Introvertendo —, through a qualitative content analysis. The project arises from the observation about the existence of similarities between autism and communication, as ways of building meaning, and that, within the scope of podcast production, several minorities and segmented groups have been using podcasts as a form of expression. A content analysis was conducted, based on Sampaio and Lyncarião (2021), also based on Schreier (2012), to find statements about autism that could relate about this subject as a way of life and statements about interventions and therapies in the episodes in question, seeking to relate the dialogues with the literature on podcasting and the critical studies of autism. In conclusion, findings suggest that: neither autistic nor professionals completely distance themselves from a perception of autism based on diagnostic manuals and deficits; there’s a heterogeneity of experiences with autism according to the types of producers; most of the analyzed programs are part of a more amateur-type kind of production setup; and it’s not possible to categorically state whether the episodes in question help to understand what autism is.Item O dividual feminino a partir do filme-ensaio Elena (2012): uma noção traçada de forma ensaística em diálogo com diversas mulheres(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-08-24) Almeida, Letícia Benevides Araújo; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9011537191118959; Santos, Alexandre Tadeu dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8783109007334551; Santos, Alexandre Tadeu dos; Fernandes, Ana Rita Vidica; Coca, Adriana Pierre; Prysthon, Angela Freire; Satler, Lara LimaThis is my first essay. An attempt to find myself from a thinking-essayistic-affective writing. Coming into contact with the essay through the cinema has revived in me the desire to question myself and the world around me. In this writing, I joined eight women, Ana, Cecília, Dandara, Diana, Ket, Laura, Letícia (me), Pollyana and Virna, my affective subjects. Collectively, we thought about feminine issues based on the visualization of the essay-film Elena, directed by Brazilian filmmaker Petra Costa. We held two online meetings in which we presented images (photographs, cinematographic scenes, poetry, lesbopoesies, short stories, illustrations, paintings) that appeared as we watched Elena. With these images in hand, I began to walk the path in order to think about my problem-issue: the possibility of extending Deleuze's concept of the dividual by taking the feminine as a perspective. To this end, I brought the images of my affective subjects closer to blackboards and made visual montages inspired by Abby Warburg's Atlas Mnemosyne. In the gaps, traces, ashes that these approximations left, we perceive a plural, fluid, collective feminine, which is built from our occupations with the world. We realized that the affective essay methodology created here allowed our experiences to be exposed and seen as important, as dividual. We have seen that it is possible to think of the feminine dividual, which contemplates all the particularity of becoming a woman. My intention is not to exhaust this study, but to create others from this reflection. The feminine dividual is an open concept and can be judged, refuted, considered or be wrong.Item A resistência narrada em rede: o feminismo por hashtag #justiçaporMariFerrer(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-08-29) Arruda, Isabela Lefol; Cassiano, Kátia Kelvis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1461975180324090; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8829860934484429; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; Oliveira, Tiago Mainieri de; Machado, Liliane Maria Macedo; Lozano, Kátia Kelvis CassianoThe struggle of women for rights and to recognize themselves as citizens is extensive. With digitally mediated technologies, new expressions of resistance emerge, such as cyberfeminism. Several cyberactivist manifestations have used hashtags as part of their discursive strategy. The cases concerning the mobilization of women became known as hashtag feminism (hashtag feminism). This is a phenomenon that has multiplied and repeated itself around the world, including Brazil. Through hashtags, Different narratives are created, merging individual stories into a larger, connective narrative that reverberates through different digital media and can reach the streets. To understand the new forms of mobilization and political action contained in this phenomenon, the present research proposes to analyze the case of the young Mariana Ferrer and the consequences of the hashtag #JustiçaPorMariFerrer, which circulated on Twitter. The object of study also raises questions about how the public and private meet in this type of movement, tensioned both by the feminist vision of 'the personal is political', and by the spectacularization of private life that occurs on the internet. The theoretical discussion is based on authors such as Castells (2003; 2017), Clark (2016) Papacharissi (2002; 2011; 2015), Polletta (1998, 2009), Young (2002), Sibilia (2008), Fraser (1985;1990 ), between others. The analysis methodology adopted was Bardin's Content Analysis (2011), through categorical analysis, supported by KDD procedures, by the large volume of data extracted from social networks, with the help of software such as Power BI and Iramuteq. The study's main objective is to understand the narratives of feminist resistance, which are built in the digital environment. In this way, we seek to analyze how the movement is built over time, the messages that build its narrative and how they can have political consequences. The analysis evidenced the solidarity between the actors and the repudiation directed to the official institutions of the State, in addition to revealing characteristics of the cyberfeminist movement today and its duality between the personal and public spheres, with the formation of affective publics.Item Os bastidores da notícia de ciência: levantamento do comportamento informacional de jornalistas em Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-08-27) Barros Junior, Roldão Alves de; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9315618025567235; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira De; Valério, Erinaldo DiasThis dissertation presents the survey of the Information Behavior of journalists working on online media in Goiânia, capital of the State of Goiás, in the composition of news, reports, articles and other journalistic products related to science, which is here delimited as scientific research. We bring the path that guides the study from the indication of the methodological design adopted, the detailed description of the research problem and its justification, a presentation and explanation of the survey produced and its results linked to the literature already inserted on the subject. A literature review on journalists' Human Information Behaviour studies is also made from studies corrected in national and international databases, in addition to deepening the definition of the concept of Human Information Behavior from the general theory systematized by Wilson (2016) besides with the Kuhlthau Uncertainty Principle (2004). The survey results indicate, among other things, that factors such as professional seniority and work environment influence the behavior of journalists in the search, research, use, validation and sharing of information about science. It was also identified that professionals have both active and passive behavior in the search and management of information. Lastly, the author claims that scientific institutions and researchers design referral mechanisms with local journalists and that reflection on Human Information Behaviour reaches the curriculum of Journalism courses in the country, making future generations of professionals have greater capacity for success in the dissemination of scientific information with quality and safety, without losing sight of the ability to communicate in an accessible language, a characteristic of Journalism - and an advantage of it - that seeks popular adhesion.Item O jornalismo de dados e sua incorporação no bacharelado em Jornalismo(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-02-21) Bazzo, Jéssica; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1812629763554762; Martins, Dalton Lopes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3774617443225038; Martins, Dalton Lopes; Del Bianco, Nélia Rodrigues; Rocha, Cleomar de SousaIn this master’s thesis, we employ a qualitative methodology to analyze the recent inclusion of Data Journalism in the curriculum of Journalism courses. We not only present the historical development of college education in Journalism, until the recent creation of the bachelor's degree in Journalism, but also provide a national and international mapping of the field of Data Journalism. We carry out this mapping not as a comparison, but rather as a literature review. Journalism courses, as our research reveals, are trying to adapt to the new National Curriculum Guidelines. It is already possible to identify specific disciplines and practical activities focused on Data Journalism inserted in the curricula of Journalism courses. Teachers and researchers of this area are aware of the importance of that knowledge, which guarantees a training that is consistent with the increasingly digital reality of contemporary journalism. Moreover, it enables the production of reports based on concrete data, without losing sight of the journalists’ social function as the ones who mediate the access to information of public interest.Item Estudo preliminar sobre a liberdade de expressão na perspectiva dos marcos regulatórios das mídias sociais(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-02-05) Bezerra, Isabella Alves; Rezende, Laura Vilela Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1612227255633180; Rezende, Laura Vilela Rodrigues; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Castro, Maria das Graças MonteiroThis dissertation examines the complex and dynamic intersection between disinformation and freedom of expression in the context of social media, which have become central arenas for the formation of public discourse. The study also proposes a critical analysis aiming to understand how Brazilian and foreign legislation present their regulations on content moderation with a view to combating misinformation and the context of dark interests that involve large social media companies. The methodology used is qualitative, and uses theoretical review and documentary research to build a theoretical framework based on the ideas of different authors on the topic, in addition to presenting a comparative study between current social media regulations. It is concluded that there must be a necessary balance involving the critical education of citizens, clear, objective and transparent rules provided by social media and legislation that regulates these tools, whose operation is based on profit to the detriment of any protection that can be established for citizens who use them.Item Criando “paletas” de sons: um estudo acerca das trilhas musicais de Antonio Pinto para o cinema nacional(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-08-30) Bilego, Arthur Arantes; Pavan, Ricardo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1247890099444160; Pavan, Ricardo; Nogueira, Lisandro Magalhães; Souza, Geórgia Cynara Coelho deThis research aims to discuss the creative and compositional process of musician Antonio Alves Pinto in the conception of soundtracks for Brazilian cinema. To this end, the work begins with a theoretical discussion based on the main authors of the studies of music in cinema, tracing a brief historical course since the main dramatic and narrative expressions that used music in the precinema era, according to Carrasco (2003), until the period of the Cinema da Retomada in Brazil, historical and geographical context in which the debut of the composer studied in musical works for the cinema took place. The dissertation will also undertake a filmic analysis of two Brazilian films (both directed by Walter Salles): Central Station (1998), with music score co-signed by Antonio Pinto; and Behind the Sun (2001), in which the musician composed the entire film score. The filmic analysis is guided by the precepts of Jacques Aumont and Michel Marie (2009) regarding the structure and purpose of this methodological approach, and regarding the observable aspects that refer specifically to the musical score, it uses the theories of Michel Chion (2011) - mainly, when considering the concept of "added value" of music as a filmic element; in addition to Claudia Gorbman (1987) - regarding the functions and principles of music based on the narrative style of classic American cinema. Starting from the understanding of the ways in which the creative and compositional process of the music producer Antonio Pinto is constituted in his works of soundtracks for cinema, the objective of the research is to understand how the interaction between his music and other elements of the cinematographic language stimulate effects of senses within the filmic narrative. The understanding that is reached through theoretical reflection and filmic analysis is that the musical work of Antonio Pinto preserves aspects of the North American classical film music, with reference to the classifications of Gorbman (1987), but innovates by incorporating elements such as the mixture of symphonic music with sound effects and Brazilian regional instruments, in addition to the use of minimalist musical structures and employment of few musical instruments in his works. Item Mídia e envelhecimento feminino: transformações no corpo e implicações subjetivas(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2012-06-15) Borges, Carlise Nascimento; Mendonça, Maria Luiza Martins de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8971620799610522; Mendonça, Maria Luiza Martins de; Albuquerque, Camilo; Temer, Ana Carolina Rocha PessoaThis research has as subject women‟s aging and the relation with their bodies, subjectivity and media. Nowadays, it‟s possible to see right models of body have been disseminate for the media, consolidating hard meanings of beauty. When the aging arrives, the woman realizes a distance from these right models, and invests frantically in search of them, becoming a compulsory chaser of displays, images and bodies, making all kind of changes to reach the model of body and youth many times unreachable. These body changes are connected with the subjectivity that is built by the media. Then the body becomes a control mechanism, which the media, in the most of times, becomes a big coupled in this process, which the society usually blame those who let themselves grow old. The research‟s purpose is comprehend how the aging woman, in the contemporary society, realizes the separation of these body and beauty standards mainly disseminated by the media, and, still, how this body subject incises in the development of their subjectivities. To this end, interviews were conducted with Goianienses women, assiduous frequenters of fitness centers, from different walks. The analysis of these interviews was related to a media analysis in order to compare the two speeches, as one perceives a spread of hegemonic patterns and behaviors of bodies permeated the live of these women.Item A experiência total no romance-reportagem: uma estratégia ético-estética(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-12-12) Borges, Luana Silva; Lima, Angelita Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0743648273038535; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9315618025567235; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Chaveiro, Eguimar Felício; Borges, Rogério Pereira; Lima, Angelita Pereira de; Martinez, MonicaThis research, carried out in the Graduate Program in Communication at the Federal University of Goiás, brought two distinct and complementary fields into dialogue: Journalism and Literature. In this hybridism, the practice of in-depth reporting was analyzed in the light of the Theory of Novel. It was shown that neither the novelistic text nor the journalistic text is sustained without the truth and, therefore, contrary to the fear about the imbrication between the genres, it was understood that both have more similarities than divergences. The novel is usually made of intimate contact with unfinished reality; an approach to the reader's psyche; a staging of the plurality of voices expressed in everyday life; of a vivification of the bewilderment of sometimes silent characters. The novelized reportage, in turn, is also made up of the same terms: there is an intimacy with what is to come today and, moreover, an ability to approach the minds that devour it. From these biases, the thesis expressed here was that the novelization of the report is constituted as a strategy not only related to textual architecture or the arrangement of language. More than a writing technique, this thesis argued that novelization refers to an ethics of journalistic coverage, especially when the investigation concerns themes that are situated on the limit of language. In order to defend this point of view, an essay analysis of two reports was constructed: Los suicidas del fin del mundo – chronicles of a patagónico pueblo (2005), by the Argentine journalist Leila Guerriero; and Every day the same night – the untold story of Nightclub Kiss (2018), by Brazilian Daniela Arbex. Guerriero went to Las Heras, a small town in Argentine Patagonia, to investigate a wave of suicides that, between 1997 and 1999, devastated dozens of young people who lived there. Arbex went to Santa Maria, in Rio Grande do Sul, facing mothers and fathers who lost their children to the fire at the Kiss nightclub. These investigations tried to reach the silence of the abrupt loss, at first, and then the attempt, on the part of the family and friends of those who passed away, to understand the totality of life with its setbacks. Thus, as the factual domain is insufficient to deal with these themes, it was found that the reporters romanticized their narratives. As verified in this research, the novel was constituted as the genre most used to this kind of supply, at the same time, of a total experience and of a bewilderment – silent and wandering. It was concluded that, in the face of such complex themes, the authors put the novel into action to vivify, in the reader's eye, and via formal realism, space, time and the progressive, felt discoveries of the characters. The novel-report amalgam composed an ethics based on respect for otherness, since, through the novel-form, the reader had the possibility of diving into the world of others, living it closely and, for that very reason, recognizing it in Himself, without judging him or without transforming the events of this alien life into mere fait divers. Methodologically, the novels-reports were considered not as simple objects of study, but as articulators of experiences that carry times and places full of the tensions of historical reality. Finally, in the movement of the journalistic fabric towards the novelistic possibilities, it was noticed that the coverage can, in fact, be enhanced: they will amplify towards themes that, without the possibilities of the Romance, would be inaudible or taboos in the routines of the press traditional. This research involves a case study developed from field visits and the flanerie (BENJAMIN, 2006). The starting point for this research is the case study of the exhibition Marc Ferrez: Território e Imagem (2019 - 2020), by the Instituto Moreira Salles. From this exhibition, we discuss the photographic look (BOSI, 1988) and the visual messages contained in 19th century Brazilian documentar photography. By doing that, we perceive the mediation of visual productions as a possibility for the development of the way of look and of the activation of memory. The body-eye notion is developed through Crary's work (2014), aiming to address the complexity of the space of perception that resides between the way of look and the visual message. Therefore, this work reflects on the position of the observer (RACIÈRE, 2012) as an active and participant agent in the meaning space of the photographic exhibition and also reflects on the photographic exhibition as an active and participant agent in the meaning space of the observer. This dissertation comprises the plurality of analyzes and of possible investigations within the field of Image. Then, it opens the discussion of the body-eye notion as a proposal for multiple analysis of production, communication and consumption of photographic works.Item Processos comunicativos comunitários do povo indígena Kanela: mobilização étnica e retomada territorial em contexto de conflito fundiário no Araguaia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-08-20) Carneiro, Mônica Machado; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5759623883813822; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira de; Machado, Liliane Maria Macedo; Del Bianco, Nélia RodriguesThis dissertation presents the results of a research route that aimed to carry out an ethnographyof the community communicative processes involved in the trajectory of the Kanela Indigenous People, inhabiting the floodplain areas of the Araguaia River, currently grouped in the Aldeia Nova Pukanu, located in the municipality of Luciara (State of Mato Grosso). Starting from the methodological theoretical assumption that underlies the approach of the ethnography of communication, from which descriptive and analytical researches that involve the relationship between language and society are dimensioned and based, there is the consideration, for the observation to which proposed the present study, of communication as an essential cultural manifestation for the functioning of human societies, understood as its founding symbolic process. Therefore, the research was interested in the observation, analysis and description of the Kanela communicative community, aiming to understand their differentiating attributes, cultural specificities and processes of construction and social sharing of meanings. This study is also based on theoretical critical perspectives, especially the cultural, postcolonial and decolonial studies, through which it is possible to problematize the fixity existing at the alterity’s ideological construction found at the colonial speech. In this sense, we note the centrality of the communicational path in the process of “ethnogenesis” Kanela do Araguaia, through which the community began to challenge the markers of stereotype, the main discursive strategy of coloniality, and to communicate its indigenous identity to agents of the Brazilian State, to the population of the surroundings of the indigenous village and to the local media, together with the demand for the reversal of the land ownership embezzlement involved in its historical trajectory. Finally, considering the theoretical assumption that relates language as a cultural product resulting from the association between communicative flows and Community social practices inserted in concrete contexts and situations, we analyze how the indigenous Kanela do Araguaia engender communicative processes in the context of the process. of cultural resistance and struggle to retake the traditional territory they experience, in permanent tension with the great speculative capital and with the agribusiness that is advancing on the Araguaia region. Based on a variety of data collection instruments aimed at describing the communication process in question, we relate the community communicative processes inserted in the contexto of the political trajectory of Kanela cultural resistance and defense of communal use and permanence in the territory claimed by the indigenous community.Item Experiências comunicativas de adolescentes goianos na cultura digital: uma análise etnográfica dos usos sociais do YouTube e do Instagram(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-08-16) Carrijo, Ana Júlia de Freitas; Satler, Lara Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7575445484262991; Satler, Lara Lima; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; Travancas, Isabel SiqueiraThe social uses of the internet by adolescents from Goiás is the central theme of this research. We conducted it with a group of twelve high school students from the Cecília Meirelles Full-Time Teaching Center, in the city of Aparecida de Goiânia. Our general objective was to map the practices made by these adolescents on YouTube and Instagram and to investigate how the group's experiences reveal clues about ways of appropriating technologies and producing meaning in contemporary social circuits. To do so, we developed a qualitative research, with an ethnographic approach. The techniques of data production were individual in-depth interviews, group discussions and participant observation. The analyzes presented in this dissertation are based on Latin American Cultural Studies, in a communicational perspective linked to Reception Studies and the Mediation Theory of Martín-Barbero. Jenkins' theorizing about the participatory culture also contributes to the debate. We mapped that accessing online platforms is common in the interviewees' daily lives and that their uses are plural, related to study, entertainment, work, rest, artistic consumption, and also to social interaction, subjective construction, authenticity, visibility and professional expectation. We highlight the group's familiarity with digital platforms and that the interviewees are interested in understanding them, by criticizing and investigating their logic and their specificities, both technical and social, through observation and experimentation. The group shares a mode of enunciation typical of contemporaneity, stimulated by digital circuits, whose central characteristic is the development of an analytical posture, generally critical and ironic, on the uses of the internet. In their experience, language competence is fundamental for being able to share the meanings that circulate online.Item A competência informacional no contexto da educação profissional e tecnológica: um estudo de caso sobre o curso técnico em Nutrição e Dietética(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-07-15) Cavalcanti, Larissa Andrade Batista; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9315618025567235; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Valério, Erinaldo Dias; Cassiano, Kátia KelvisThe Information Society, in addition to introducing a vast technological repertoire into the global daily life, has highlighted information as an input for knowledge. Searching and using information effectively has become essential for the individual to constitute himself as a citizen. From this perspective, Information Literacy should be seen as a healthy movement for the formation of individuals with critical sense, with learning autonomy and capable of discerning a good source of information. Therefore, it must be developed during the school period and carried out throughout life, but much is said about its application in the initial grades or in higher education, leaving a gap on how to develop its aspects in Vocational and Technological Education. In this light, the objective of this work is to analyze the informational behavior of technical education students in a public professional education school and to evaluate the contributions of information literacy to improve the learning process, especially with regard to the development of skills and informational skills in the production of the course conclusion work. The methodology is based on a case study on students of the technical course in Nutrition and Dietetics, which will comprise two major phases, the first of diagnosis of the students' informational behavior and the second with a proposal of an action plan that helps, to from the information literacy process, the development of informational competence in this public. For data collection, a questionnaire and reflective interview will be used. The data obtained demonstrate that Information Literacy, when applied in the daily life of Scientific Research disciplines, raises the quality of Course Conclusion Papers and encourages the student to use reliable information. On the other hand, it demonstrates the need to include in the school's pedagogical project the integration of information literacy to the development of educational activities and to think of a teaching standard for Scientific Research subjects. It is concluded that, in order to reach the Informational Competence of Professional Education students, a multidisciplinary team effort is necessary, with teachers and librarians focused on minimizing the learning gaps of this public with heterogeneous social and educational characteristics.Item Entre fluxos e comportas: tensões comunicacionais e cidadania no licenciamento ambiental da UHE Estreito(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-08-31) Clemente, Lígia Regina Guimarães; Freitas, Luiz Antonio Signates; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0464596762919932; Freitas, Luiz Antonio Signates; Oliveira, Tiago Mainieiri de; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; Baldissera, Rudimar; Costa, Luciana MirandaFrom the context of the installation of large-scale projects causing socio-environmental impacts, this thesis aimed to understand the communicational tensions within the Environmental Licensing process of the hydroelectric power plant Usina Hidrelétrica Estreito, in Maranhão, Brazil. It focused on the effectiveness of citizenship amidst the diverse interests of the State, Economy, and Civil Society systems. It is worth noting that the installation phases of the Usina Hidrelétrica Estreito(2008-2012), located in the municipality of Estreito, Maranhão, with direct impact on 12 municipalities in the states of Maranhão and Tocantins, were marked by conflicts, negotiations, and disputes. The communicational flows and access gates from the periphery to the centers of political decisions are addressed. The issue was discussed through the lens of Communicative Action, the duality of Systems/ Lifeworld, and exchanges (input/output) between the State and Economy with the Lifeworld (HABERMAS, 1981, 1984, 1997, 2003). The understanding of the subject matter was also built upon theoretical contributions from perspectives on citizenship, Public Communication, environmental governance, and the Theory of Controversies. A case study was conducted using a multiple-evidence protocol, which included: a) documentary analysis (covering the current environmental legislation in Brazil); b) analysis of the 35 programs of the Basic Environmental Plan (with emphasis on the Social Communication Program and its alignment with other programs); c) in-depth interviews with subjects from the State system, as well as Civil Society; and d) media analysis of the main tensions on the subject in Folha de S. Paulo newspaper (2008-2012). Through the set of analyses, it was possible to identify the categories through which the notions of citizenship/communication are established and how tensions manifest themselves. From the analysis of the legislation governing environmental licensing in Brazil, categories such as access to information, publicity, consultation, and environmental education were identified. Among the 35 programs outlined in the Basic Environmental Plan, 29 of them propose communication actions as part of environmental mitigation. The Social Communication Program expresses the consortium's concern with information about the power plant but does not encompass negotiations or other forms of participation. The Social Communication Program is a specific aspect within a broader communicational context, considering the interests of diverse audiences. Spaces for social participation are limited and formalized. It was observed that tensions originating from other fields (such as economic, environmental, and social) also become symbolic disputes and take the form of communicational tensions. The work also contributes theoretically to the notion of Environmental Citizenship, which is inherently communicational from the outset.Item Uma questão de interpretação: a influência do nível de escolaridade do cidadão para a compreensão do conteúdo do telejornal(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-03-18) Coimbra, Mayara Calácio de Sousa; Tuzzo, Simone Antoniaci; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9376233659808755; Tuzzo, Simone Antoniaci; Temer, Ana Carolina Rocha Pessoa; Peixoto, JoanaThis research aims to understand the extent to which the education level may interfere in the interpretation of the content of a newscast. As a reception research, the study analyzes the level of education as an influential category of the meaning negotiation process. Furthermore, we discuss the role of TV news in the light of the concept of citizenship and how the construction of meanings arising from the interpretation can contribute to developing a sense of belonging. Bringing an interdisciplinary research perspective, the education field appears not only as a methodological category, but as a study of the school teaching-learning process and social learning. The methodological tools permeate the literature and practical areas. During the analysis of data collected from interviews and a content analysis of news program from Rede Globo,Jornal Nacional, the field of social learning (inherent in human life), experience, consciousness, and culture stood out more in the receptive process more than the cognitive evolution achievable with school life, and that interpreting the news content is to ally with the process of building citizenship, since citizenship is directly related to the construction of sense of belonging that can be manifested only through social involvement.Item “Não dá pra fugir dessa coisa de pele”: imagens e afetos de mulheres negras em telenovelas brasileiras(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-04-14) Conceição, Juara Castro da; Dias, Luciene de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7270892768281076; Dias, Luciene de Oliveira; Satler, Lara Lima; Rezende, Tânia Ferreira; Martins, Alice de Fátima; Valério, Erinaldo DiasThis thesis proposes to investigate the affections of black women in images produced in Brazilian soap operas on TV Globo. They are: Vivian from “Anjo Mau” (1997), Edivânia from “Meu Bem Quer” (1998), Selminha Aluada from “Porto dos Milagres” (2001), Preta from “Da Cor do Pecado” (2004), Ellen from “Cobras e Lagartos” (2006), Alicia from “A Favorita” (2008), Helena from “Viver a Vida” (2009), Maria da Penha from “Cheias de Charme” (2012), Verônica from “Geração Brasil” (2014), Michele from “Mister Brau” (2015), Vitória from “Amor de Mãe” (2019) and Clarice from “Cara e Coragem” (2022). A study is carried out based on the cultural analysis of the images, taking into account their aesthetic elements and their intersections, considering the production of the meaning of affection. Recognizing the soap opera narrative, there are also discussions about fictional series and television narratives. In addition to Latin American Cultural Studies as a theoretical-methodological contribution and analysis spatiality. The images used in this work are electronic, the result of an imagery field driven by the presence of digital technologies. The search for images was intermediated by Google, which in addition of being a search device is also software and a multinational advertising company. In view of this, the virtualization of the memory of these fictional narratives based on their images is also discussed. Affectivity comes as an object of analysis from the thematic axes of: motherhood, affective-sexual relationships and friendship. When talking about the affectivity of black women, from television characters elements such as race, gender and class are touched. In addition to the generational and also aesthetic discussions of the characters presented. Based on a cultural analysis of the images, this research presents a possibility of understanding soap operas and their characters, through the imagery field that makes up their memory. We are talking about images beyond a technological line, guided by racialized affection as a possibility of understanding communication from the bond.Item Jornalismo infracidadão: a incomunicabilidade como vetor do jornalismo econômico na cobertura da Lava Jato pela Folha(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-08-26) Correia, William de Araújo; Freitas, Luiz Antonio Signates; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0464596762919932; Freitas, Luiz Antonio Signates; Bucci, Eugênio; Moraes, Ângela Teixeira deThe present work aims to investigate the meanings configured by the narratives woven together with the economic coverage of Folha on the Operation Car Wash, in his notebook called Mercado, in the period that covers the 18 months preceding and the 18 months following the impeachment of former President Dilma Rousseff, which occurred on August 31, 2016. Therefore, it employs a theoretical framework that permeates economic journalism, Operation Car Wash, along with its media implications, and citizenship. The methodological construct of this work is anchored in the use of Content Analysis in its quantitative dimension brought by Bardin (2012) and Bauer and Gaskell (2002), which served to the selection of the corpus, resulting in 67 analyzed contents, and to a balance of the conformation of economic journalism practiced by Folha. Then, the critical analysis of the narrative suggested by Motta (2013) bases the reconstruction of the composition from the contents of the corpus, under the three aspects with which he works (dimension, story and meta-narrative). In the end, it was found that, in terms of thematic categories and narrative conduction, there was variation in the approach of Folha in the transition from the pre-impeachment moment to the post impeachment moment, especially in regards to the role played by the federal government in both phases, which was opposed to the constant presence of Operation Car Wash in the antagonist pole. It also remained proven that economic journalism, reflected in the coverage of Operation Car Wash by Folha, it is marked by a practice that deprives the components linked to communicational citizenship, preventing it, consequently, from contributing to the consolidation of an economic citizenship and also to a full citizenship. Therefore, the question-problem that drives this research is: how to identify the tolerable limits between freedom of expression and hate speech? Thus, this research aims to analyze the discursive composition of content involving hate speech published on social media and create a parameter that can serve as a basis for distinguishing the right to freely express oneself from hate speech. For this, an empirical qualitative research was carried out, starting with an exploratory research and followed by a literature review, then was determined as a methodological approach for data analysis the perspective of Discourse Analysis. Data were collected manually from pages and public groups on the Facebook platform, in the period between the second half of 2020 and early 2021. The results showed that hate speech operates as a threat to democracy, as it tries to silence the victim, hurting the communicational citizenship of democracy and putting it in contradiction. It was also ratified that no right is absolute and that limiting the right to express an opinion is a way of ensuring that everyone enjoys it. It was reiterated the hypothesis that the limit between one element and another of the problem-question is that an alleged opinion is characterized as hate speech when shared and affects a minority group with its discriminatory characteristics. We propose society's media and information literacy as a possible long-term solution and counter-narratives, as well as more severe and recurrent punishments, as short-term responses.
