I propose that the daily practices of organizations on the field of popular culture form policies of production and space occupation in cities that resist the logical imposition of the urban space planning. I strongly highlight that the cities are organizational processes, therefore may be based on the daily practices of the organizations that inhabit them. I propose a theoretic approach of the Practice-Based Studies (PBS) in the Administration area with discussions about cities, starting from the discussions proposed by Certeau (2008) having as an empirical context of research the organizational daily routine of cultural entrepreneurs. For the development of these concepts of organizational analysis, I carried a qualitative study in 2017 with a forró subjects in Distrito Federal, considered a popular culture movement. The choice of the organization occurred because the different subjects of forró are constituted by performative shows and events in different locations of the city of Brasilia, that makes possible to comprehend different spaces produced by the organization studied that comprises Brasília. The production of the empirical material for the analysis will occur from the observations of the participants that will be held on a daily bais of the studied organization, as well as interviews of the life history that should be done with the subjects of forró in Brasília. As contribution to the Administration area, I emphasize (1) the relevance of thinking the city as an organizational process; (2) the understanding that daily practices of organizations form policies of production and spaces occupation in the cities; (3) the relevance of thinking popular cultures as organizational processes of resistance against city planning logic; (4) the advance on the theoretical appropriation of Michel de Certeau works to organizational analysis.Item Relações raciais e empreendedorismo: um estudo sobre negros empreendedores na região metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-12-06) Santos, Edy Lawson Silva; Oliveira, Josiane Silva de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/243913627032551; Oliveira, Josiane Silva de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/243913627032551; Teixeira, Juliana Cristina; Figueiredo, Marina Dantas de; Augusto, Cleiciele AlbuquerqueThis research aims at understanding the racial influences in the constitution of enterprises by black people in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro. It is our intention to approach these two theoretical categories, race and entrepreneurship, due the theoretical and empirical gap of existing research in the Business Administration area concerning the proposed topic. Although entrepreneurship has consolidated itself as a research area in the field of Business Administration studies, race, as theme, is still unexplored by the investigations developed in this area. In this study, I present as a theoretical contribution a discussion on the effects of race in the constitution of entrepreneurial processes conducted by black people in Brazil. The qualitative research was conducted through half-structured interviews with entrepreneurs. The research results were analyzed under the technique of interpretive analysis for qualitative research for studies that have empirical basis, aiming to identify conceptual categories that enable understanding of how race can be related with entrepreneurship in Brazil. The categorization was made according to the entrepreneurial process model proposed by Baron and Shane (2015). Nine black entrepreneurs were interviewed. These entrepreneurs run different businesses in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro. The interviews have collected the perceptions of each respondent about race, entrepreneurship and a bit of their life stories. These interviews, in addition to the researcher's experiences and perceptions and his records, composed the empirical part of the study. As a result, the study shows that the construction of race and the "place" of black people have great impact on the life and in the enterprise of each respondent, in motivation, in the identification of the business opportunity and in the meaning of their own work.Item Imigração como prática social: estratégias e táticas de organização dos imigrantes haitianos na região metropolitana de Goiânia, Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-12-11) Yamamoto, Gabriel do Carmo; Oliveira, Josiane Silva de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2439136270325511; Oliveira, Josiane Silva de; Fantinel, Letícia Dias; Cassandre, Marcio PascoalIn this dissertation, we have worked on immigration as a social practice through empirical research with Haitian immigrants. Our objective was to understand the organization practices of Haitian immigrants in the Metropolitan Region of Goiânia, Goiás. This study is justified by the argument that social practice of immigration is a base of production of organizational processes, as well the construction of spaces and places is constituted from the socio-spatial mobility of social subjects. For the development of theoretical argument, we mainly focused on the concepts worked by Michel de Certeau and Tim Cresswell about practices and immigration, respectively. The empirical research was conduceted in the Metropolitan Region of Goiânia, which all the cities together have more than 500 subjects coming from Haiti. For the production of empirical material we used as tools the life history and participatory observation. The interviews had a semi-structured script. The results obtained were analyzed by means of the interpretative technique, being found five main practices in the organization of Haitian immigrants: practice of path; economic and labor practice; cohabitation practice; practice of care; and practice of religion. As the main contributions of the work we point out: 1) realization of approximations of practical theories with as discussions about socio-spatial mobility; 2) the understanding of immigration as a social practice; 3) deepening the understanding of the immigrant / organizational process of Haitian subjects in Brazilian lands; and 4) discussion of the reception policies of immigrants in the context researched.
