Item Política pública de transferência direta de renda e voto para governador: o caso do Programa Renda Cidadã em Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-03-15) Morais, Marina Almeida; Silva, Robert Bonifácio da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9425542829673914; Silva, Robert Bonifácio da; Mundim, Pedro Santos; Casalecchi, Gabriel ÁvilaThe present work investigates the role of a public policy - the Citizen Income Program (PRC) - in the choice of vote for governor of Goiás in the 2014 and 2018 elections, with wealth and vertical partisan alignment as competing variables. The unit of analysis is the municipalities and the data sources are the Regional Electoral Court of Goiás and indicators of the Municipality Performance Index (IDM), prepared by the Mauro Borges Institute. Specifically, the hypothesis is that the scenario in which the municipalities with the highest percentage of families served by the PRC are those that present the highest percentage of votes for the situationist candidates. Concurrently, there are the hypotheses that the greater the wealth of the municipalities and the existence of a mayor whose party affiliation is aligned with the governor leads to greater chances of voting for the situationist candidate. The results don’t allow to infer that any of the variables show explanatory power over the phonomenon, although it was possible to identify statistic significant low baselines between being benefited by the PRC and voting on the incumbent.Item Diagnóstico e fatores explicativos da satisfação com os serviços públicos de saúde e de educação no Brasil(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-12-17) Zenate, Isabela Cruvinel; Silva, Robert Bonifácio da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9425542829673914; Ferreira, Vicente da Rocha Soares; Okado, Lucas Toshiaki Archangelo; Silva, Robert Bonifácio daBased on an in-depth analysis of public services, this paper aims to present the diagnosis of satisfaction with public education and health services in Brazil, as well as to analyze the explanatory factors of satisfaction with such services. Emphasizes the importance of applying satisfaction surveys to the population, as the results of these allow to assess the quality of public management - contributing to the improvement of Public Administration, as well as identifying electoral trends. The work aims to contribute to the political science literature related to the field of political behavior, raising discussions, testing explanations for trends and looking for factors that are associated with the perception of the citizen in relation to public services. For this, it analyzed seven explanatory hypotheses, created from the literature and research carried out by other authors. Empirical tests were carried out, using data from the Barometer of the Americas, in the 2012, 2014 and 2016/17 rounds. The results show that satisfaction with public health and education services varies between the negative and regular levels, with the grades attributed to the educational field being relatively better than those in the health field. In perspective compared with 17 countries in Latin America, Brazil stands out for the worst indexes, occupying the last places in the ranking of satisfaction. Through the tests, it was found that the level of education, perceptions in relation to the economy, satisfaction with life and access to the internet and news are relevant explanatory factors for the analysis of satisfaction with the analyzed public services.
