Item A lira hesitante de Ana Cristina Cesar(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2010-02-23) FERRO, Letícia Costa e Silva; CAMARGO, Goiandira de Fatima Ortiz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3029764057965151Once in contact with contemporary poetry, we can think of its multiple practice in which form and diction, the most diverse ones resist to critical reception that are tied to established literary standards. The literary work of Ana Cristina Cesar can be included in this particular context. Controversial in its essence, her work keeps oscillating and drifting from stable matters. Therefore, the aim of this study is to read it by the bias of hesitation, between poetry and prose, center and edge, biography and fiction, memory and forgetfulness, in order to find out what is hidden underneath it, and whether it means simulation or dissimulation. The essay is elected then, in the wake of Adorno (2003), as the academic style of dissertation. It is a belief that the essay is analogous to the poetry studied, for it is placed among absurdities since it neither starts from a very beginning nor converges at a final ending.Item O Entrelugar em Borges: fragmentos de uma poética(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2011-02-18) OLIVEIRA, Gustavo Ponciano Cunha de; CAMARGO, Goiandira de Fatima Ortiz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3029764057965151This study, presented as an essay, starts from the indeterminacy of meaning as a critical assumption in an attempt to seize possible fragments of a poetics in the work of Jorge Luis Borges. Thus, its outcome is not the definition of the poet and his creation, but a possible critical reading. The study connects specific fragments of Borges work with different support texts, critical and philosophical ones, by Joseph Hillis Miller, Antoine Compagnon, Jacques Derrida, Paul de Man, Gilles Deleuze. This contact enables the perception of the author s dissatisfaction before a couple of binary or polar oppositions (metaphysical paradigms inheritance), and consequent imposition of order favoring one of the words: literature/criticism, reading/writing, poetic/antipoetic, self/ one another, totality/suggestion. Such dissatisfaction is expressed in the borgesian creation through a metaphor which I call in-between. Its fundamental characteristic is the refutation of discourses that present themselves as having a fixed and unshakable truth through a reversion of the hierarchy which establishes them. Borges is, therefore, understood here as an inquirer who employs the language, testing its limits and strength. The inquiring feature assigned to his texts, his inflection, is reflected in this essay. Starting from a quotation from El Aleph and from the fissured reading of such fragment, always highlighting the partiality of the study accomplished here, this essay presents the defense that Borges lies in an in-between when discussing fundamental questions like authorship, text, authenticity and self.Item Poesia infantil e juvenil brasileira: transformações e deslimites(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2012-08-02) OLIVEIRA, Meirilayne Ribeiro de; CAMARGO, Goiandira de Fatima Ortiz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3029764057965151This study presents two main objectives. First, it reviews the route of the Brazilian poetry for children and teenagers in order to identify their transformations throughout history, and then, it sees how some poetic texts, with emphasis on contemporary, go beyond the limits of the definition of editorial reader for this genre. Second, we intend to point out methodological paths to work with poetry in school, focusing on the basic Education. In addition, for the historical review of the genre, we have as references the studies of Coelho (2006), Shavit (2003), Turchi (1995), Zilberman (1988). As for the discussion of the formation of the reader, we enclosed the conceptions of reader and reading processes of the aesthetics of reception, with Iser (1996) and Jauss (1994); poetry teaching, Balestriero (1998), and genres of discourse and teaching, in the perspective of Dowlz; Schnewly (2004). The survey of the route of this genre was carried out from the reading of the poetry works published in the late nineteenth century until the first decade of this century, and also, the study on the subject of criticism. Moreover, the search for titles was in private collections and libraries. For the approach to teaching, the various theoretical currents were evoked to propitiate, from one hand, a broader understanding of the formation process of a reader of poetry, and to the other, to propose a methodology that takes the subject to identify a stable structure of genre, and to the use of this structure as a reading tool, applicable to any poem. Comprehensively, the work presents an overview of Brazilian poetry for children and juvenile having as support the field of reception, as it clarifies the constitution of the literary system.Item Um grito para o céu: arte e pensamento em Crônica da casa assassinada(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2007-05-21) RICARTE, Patrícia Chanely Silva; CAMARGO, Goiandira de Fatima Ortiz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3029764057965151In this thesis we analyze the fictional images of the idea of art that may be deduced from Lúcio Cardoso s Crônica da casa assassinada (The murdered house chronicle). Taking Nina s (the protagonist) constitution in the main narratives of the book as the starting point, we attempt to establish a sort of analogy between the artistic and the philosophical thoughts about art in order to propose a reflection on the relationships between two kinds of knowledge. Therefore, starting from a perspective in which Nina consists of the literary image of the philosophical idea of art, in the first chapter, a comparative study between the conjectures surrounding this character is undertaken through four narrators in the novel (Timóteo, Betty, Ana and André) and the views of four philosophers about the work of art (Plato, Kant, Nietzsche and Heidegger). Throughout this study, we have focused on the relationship between beauty and truth, which is the main aspect of the philosophical discussion on art, and is also, from our perspective, symbolized by Nina in Crônica da casa assassinada. In the second chapter we discuss the question of art s death decreed by Hegel, so that we attempt to reveal the relationship between such questions and Lúcio Cardoso s concept of the tragic in his most important novel. Based on the philosophical and anthropological view of the tragic, and taking important authors such as Werner Jaeger, Albin Lesky, Gerd Bornheim and Emil Staiger s points of view, we have studied the discourses on death which are brought up in Crônica da casa assassinada in order to verify the perspectives of each one of the narrators that were studied related to the question of transcendence, here considered in his deep linkage to the religious basis of art. In the third chapter we attempt to defend the notion of art as a project which, from our perspective, encompasses the widest sense of Lúcio Cardoso s work. Considered from an existentialist point of view with a sartrean and heideggerian basis, the project consists in the possibility of the author s self-excelling in the sense that he reveals his personal truth through a fragmented and multifaceted thinking developed as a novel and, at the same time, constructs a new idea of man, having to revitalize or even threaten the so dear in his highly Christian view existence of God in order to reach such aim.Item Convergências e tessituras de pedras, rios, ilhas e ventos: Manoel de Barros, João Cabral de Melo Neto e Corsino Fortes(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2009-04-13) SOARES, Rosidelma Pereira Fraga; CAMARGO, Goiandira de Fatima Ortiz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3029764057965151This dissertation has as its aim to examine according to praxis of Comparative Literature, the lyrical poetry of two important representatives of Brazilian and of one African contemporary literature. The research begins with critical reflections about modernity and contemporaneousness as present in the poems of Manoel de Barros, considered some contributions of academic criticism about his poetics and pointed out to a possible place for this poet in Brazilian Literature. We made efforts for outlining the ways followed by the other two poets, João Cabral de Melo Neto and Corsino Fortes, tackling the reception literary criticism gave to his productions. Then the research centered in theoretical reflections about subjectivity and its ramifications in the studied poems. This allowed a discussion of the lyric subject, the image and the flame of eroticism. In a third moment, the research revolved around approaches of signs of childhood as lived experiences according to lyric memory, contributing to the presence of myth. The work still centered in metalanguage, as well in a search under words that evoke the mineral and to language childhood, producing a meeting of stones, rivers, islands and wind which goes beyond intertextual metaphor. We integrated and usefulness to this bibliographical survey three unpublished interviews. The first with the poet Manoel de Barros, the second with Antônio Carlos Secchin, from UFRJ, and the third with Simone Caputo Gomes, one of the main researchers of the Center of African Researchs of the University of São Paulo
