Item Representação social das pessoas vivendo com HIV/AIDS na mídia impressa(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-03-31) Almeida, Marília de Almeida e; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1812629763554762; Tuzzo, Simone Antoniaci; Nascimento, Dilene Raimundo doThe objective of this study is to understand how the social representation of People Living with HIV / AIDS in the print media has been constructed and whether this representation has persisted over the last three decades. The study is based on the Theory of Social Representations, proposed by Moscovici, which consists of understanding how the construction and permanence of concepts formed about something or someone from social interactions takes place. Eight cover stories published by O Estado de S. Paulo newspaper in 1985 and 2015, independent of the month in which they were published, were analyzed, with four reports per year. The eight texts were analyzed according to the Critical Discourse Analysis (ADC), published by Norman Fairclough. It was concluded that the social representation of People Living with HIV / AIDS in print media in 1985 is of homosexual men, promiscuous and guilty of their condition and that this representation has not changed over the decades, remaining in 2015 as being of homosexual men, promiscuous and guilty for their condition.Item Cidadania como mercadoria? A legitimação do status cidadão através do consumo de livros(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-06-28) Baltazar, Caroline Campanha; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1812629763554762; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; Jordão, Janaína Vieira de Paula; Quintão, Ronan TorresIn this work we study the relationship between citizenship and consumption. However, in addition to consumption as a citizen practice, our research sought to investigate whether books, as consumer goods, that is, merchandise, also act in the exercise of citizenship. Our theoretical contribution on consumption articulated in the citizenship counted on Canclini (1999) and Demo (1995), both authors identify in the consumption an act of the citizen practice. The first highlights participation in the consumption process. The second author works on the concept of emancipatory citizenship. In this concept citizenship is exercised when the individual breaks with political poverty and, thus, the citizen takes for himself the understanding of the exercise of citizenship. As a consequence of this 'internal' process consumption appears as a possibility to exercise citizenship, but in this context the market occupies a middle position, not end. In this way, the citizen makes use of the market to heal his needs as citizens. To contextualize the book as a commodity, we go through consumer studies, using Miller (2013) to understand objects within material culture, in addition to Douglas and Isherwood (2004) who also discuss objects and their meanings. The authors point out that the meaning of the commodity is given by those who use them and that these meanings are created to contextualize us within our reality. Therefore, we analyze the book as a commodity, according to its utilitarian, commercial and sociocultural meaning (SANTAELLA; NOTH, 2009). In order to study the phenomenon we chose as the locus of research the subscribers of the book club TAG-LITERARY EXPERIENCES, the choice of the respondents was for convenience. We used three types of research to build this work: bibliographic research, semi-structured interviews and documentary analysis. For the analysis of the data collected, we used the technique of Collective Subject Discourse Analysis (DSC) (LEFEVRE and LEFEVRE, 2009). The results explained that, for respondents, consumption is a way of exercising citizenship, and that books, as commodities consumed, are means for the exercise of it, due to its relation with education, information, culture, development of critical thinking , besides being also a consumer good, which as such is part of the economic process of consumption, which is inserted in the citizen's practice .Item Shopping centers: o campo simbólico de consumo e de pertencimento dos cidadãos de classe C(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-04-04) Cordeiro, Rodrigo Mendanha; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1812629763554762; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; Tuzzo, Simone Antoniaci; Tondato, Márcia PerencinCreated by market operators in period of economic ascension in Brazil, starting in the 2000s, the term Class C is an economic classification developed with the purpose of a segmental of a new form of consumers. This time this paper aims to understand how the class c, constructs the notion of citizenship through consumer goods, especially consumption in shopping malls. To achieve this aim, the object of the study is based on the investigation and understanding of the collection of meanings that the consumer / citizen uses to decide for a mall of his / her preference. It research field of this work is Buriti Shopping Center, an enterprise located in Aparecida de Goiânia - metropolitan region of the city of Goiânia, Goiás. In addition to the issues related to the consumption of merchandise, citizens of class c, perceive Buriti Shopping in its multiple urban and geographical interventions, as far as the region around them. Consumption, in turn, as a mechanism that produces communicative acts for malls, especially directed to class c, in order to project in the citizens' imagination the idea of everyday practices shaped by a receptive, comfortable, safe, clean public-private environment and indifferent to the mishaps of the city around it, is therefore an important item of analysis of this work. For this purpose, we will walk through the historical trajectory of shopping malls, from its emergence in nineteenth-century Europe to its expansion and development in the postwar United States, and in Brazil from the 1960s onwards. In addition, supporting us in the studies of Giddens (1985); Bourdieu (2008); Souza (2012); Dubar (2009); Hall (2011); Jameson (1993); Baudrillard (1981, 1997); Slater (2002); Featherstone (1995); Morin (1969); Castells (1999), we present the concepts that underlie the theories about Classes; Habitus; Belonging; Decentralization; Identity; Postmodernity; Consumer society; Consumer Culture; Mass Culture and Information Society. Based on qualitative and quantitative empirical research whose objectives are to identify the notion of citizenship by consumers in Buriti Shopping customers - in order to answer the guiding question of this study: the consumer of class c, considers the " consumption "as a means of legitimizing citizenship? The results obtained in the analyzes indicate that the citizen does not feel more citizen when consuming. Although citizenship and consumption are intertwined, consumption is shaped by a condition of who is already a citizen. Therefore, the role of legitimizing citizenship is not attributed to consumption. From this perspective, for citizens of class c, citizenship is a pre-existing condition of life, with citizenship being linked or not with consumption activity.Item A representação social da adoção por casais homoafetivos na mídia impressa(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-02-20) Costa, Louise Ramiro da; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1812629763554762; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; Silva, Magno Luiz Medeiros da; Borges, Lenise SantanaThe research has as its theme the social representation by homoaffective families. This is a controversial issue because involves two equally sensitive issues: the adoption of children and homosexual relations as a Family institution. Foster affiliation at this end of the century can be understood as a legally assisted procreation. Seeking exclusively a family for the child, and not the other way around, in order to grant full protection to the child and adolescent, it has expanded adoption rights making it irrevocable, safeguarding the child's status, equaling the same rights as those of children. The family, historical institute of looks established by society, culture, religion, among others. And divergent points about the denial of citizenship to homosexuals, considered sinners, sick, without legal orders, do not confer rights. Faced with legislative absence, the Supreme Court recognized a stable union. Given this, the article analyzes the social representation of homosexual adoption in the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, from 2011 to 2018, going through the study of citizenship, in order to analyze if children and adolescents living in orphanages and homosexuals have citizen status, by the field of communication, social representation, citizenship and constitutional right of family protection guaranteed to orphans and their homosexual parents. Thus, 2,920 issues of the magazine were analyzed for speeches on the subject. Thirty-nine journalistic articles were identified in this initial corpus, organized annually and processed with the aid of the IRAMUTEQ software, responsible for providing the maximum similarity and framework of each block, which under the contribution of the Theory of Social Representations, postulated by Moscovici (1978) and by the methodological approach developed by Abric, the Central Core Theory (TNC) or structural Theory. The study is presented under collections made in the printed newspaper, configuring itself as a social discourse, which raises the research to the bibliographic and documentary status. The results indicate that the social representation of adoption by homosexual families that posted in the pages of print media, especially in the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, from 2011 to 2018, deals with a religious discourse affected by traditional Christianity, especially by denominational churches evangelical and neopentecostal, reinforced by political discourses, which justify the heteronormative concept of family, which propagates a feeling and belief of prejudice, discrimination and stigmatization of homosexuality, defaulting a background of adoption, particularly when with same-sex couples.Item Comportamento organizacional e comunicação: a representação social do servidor público(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-03-30) Lettieri, Tessa Monteiro; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4102466A0; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; Tuzzo, Simone Antoniacci; Silva, André VasconcelosThis work aimed to the study of organizational communication in their relationship with organizational behavior, especially communication as liaison, developer and disseminator of behavioral change processes. The analysis period covers the month of March, 2015. The content analysis method was used for the interpretation of the sample. The idea is to perceive how the interface between social movements and the media has been given, and the media according to Bourdieu has become a gateway to public existence, and, for this reason, these social subjects have planned their actions in order to interest the Mass communication vehicles. The analysis concluded that only those movements that are in political-ideological harmony with the newspaper acquire a positive representation. However, what they speak about is determined by this representation. Therefore, institutionalized media is more than an arbitrator of public existence, because it also determines and influences the discourses publicized by social movements. Item Entre a cordialidade e o branquíssimo: o discurso racista na representação social da pessoa negra no jornal Folha de S. Paulo(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-02-22) Sousa, Aryclennys Silva; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1812629763554762; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; Tuzzo, Simone Antoniaci; Moura, Dione OliveiraThe present study has as main objective to verify how the discourse of racism manifests, articulating the communication, social representation, citizenship and the categorization of the modalities of expression of discrimination, prejudice and racism identified by science. Thus, 42 journalistic articles published in the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper were analyzed during the celebrations of the National Black Consciousness Day, on November 20 and 21, from 2012 until 2017, using as theoretical contribution of the Theory of Social Representations, postulated byMoscovici (1978), and methodological developed by Abric, Central Nucleus Theory (TNC) or structural theory. In general, bibliographic research seeks to identify, in the last instance, the social representation of the black person that circulates and is expressed by one of the largest newspapersin the country. The results indicate that the social and media representation of the black person is mostly concentrated in the status of enslaved Brazilian colony, especially in the figure of a child with a certain basic academic, cultural and intellectual level. The black person has a citizenship that guarantees only political rights. In addition, it composes the social representation, the discursive modality of Prejudice Theories, along with the ideology of whitening the Brazilian black population, so that the forms of expression of racist discourse in Brazil demonstrate the faces of racism, discrimination, prejudice, disaffection, enmity and repudiation of the white against the Brazilian Negro. Thus, the black person has a denied citizenship (DURSTON, 1999), becoming part of the population group with status of sub-citizen of (SOUZA, 2003), remaining, in summary, below citizenship, in a lower category (TUZZO, 2014).Item Mídia, jornalistas e cidadãos: as representações sociais do SUS(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2015-03-30) Souza, Kalyne Menezes; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1812629763554762; Braga, Claudomilson Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1812629763554762; Temer, Ana Carolina Rocha Pessoa; Silva, Wilma Madeira daThe Sistema Único de Saúde (known as SUS) is regarded as the largest public health system of the world and, therefore, appears daily in media and social discussions.
