Item A inserção da(o) psicóloga(o) na política de sssistência social – contradições, desafios e limites(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-08-22) Borges, Angela Beatriz de Lima; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0864307656064852; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; Oliveira, Isabel Maria Fernandes de; Boechat, Filipe MilagresThe participation of Psychology in the National Policy of Social Assistance is a contemporary phenomenon. In 2004, the psychologist became part of the technical team necessary to develop Social Work. One of the main challenges for psychologists who work with public policies is to overcome conservative traditional practices in Psychology. This dissertation discusses the role of psychologists in the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS), analyzing how psychologists started to participate in this space and which assumptions and practices are applied in this space. The specific objectives of this study were: to identify the theoretical-methodological guides the work of psychologists inserted in the CRAS; examine whether the training of psychologists is an important mediation in their professional practice; to identify which psychological practices are developed in the CRAS; and to reflect if psychologists take into account the theoretical and methodological guidelines of PNAS and/or social demands. The theoretical foundations of this dissertation approached the relationship between social policy and "social issues", the history of social assistance policies and the process of integration of psychologists into it after the creation of the profession in 1962. A qualitative research was conducted with six psychologists being interviewed about their ideas and practices. For the interviews it was applied a semi-structured guide in order to explore the objectives of this research. Content analysis resulted in the following issues: a technicist psychological practice which focus only individual issues; development of collective activities excluding a critical approach over "social issues"; psychological training that is unable to tackle the demands necessary to work inside a CRAS; theoretical and methodological references are restricted to regulatory and official documents; working conditions of psychologists (lack of public tender, lack of equipment and adequate physical infrastructure); hope of the psychologists in the process of social transformation of the reality related to the work with families inside the CRAS. These results can contribute to critical reflection on the limits and possibilities that emanate from the relationship between Psychology and Social Assistance and on how this relationship can contribute to the efforts for emancipation.Item O amor romântico na sociedade capitalista e patriarcal: uma crítica feminista marxista(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-05-27) Braz, Isana Rodrigues; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0864307656064852; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; Mendes, Lilian Marta Grisolio; Silva, Hugo Leonardo Fonseca daThe present theoretical research, aimed to investigate the relationship between romantic love and the patriarchy in capitalist society based on the theoretical framework of marxist feminism. We understand that patriarchy today is an integral part of capitalist society and not an autonomous system of rules and mechanisms that reproduce themselves. Patriarchy has its current roots in private property, in the sexual division of labor and in the consequent structural relationship of the home with the reproduction of capital. The family is an institution that has been transformed throughout the history of the development of production and social reproduction. With the consolidation of capitalism, the monogamous family emerges, which is characterized by its isolation and domesticity. It expresses the apparent antagonism between the spheres of production and social reproduction is constituted by the triangle: father, mother and children. The roles between the sexes are well defined: the father is the head and provider of the family and the woman, the wife and the dedicated mother. Romantic love is one of the ideologies that reinforces this family. It emerged in Europe at the end of the 19th century, with the consolidation of bourgeois society and the appearance of the possibility of an individual life independent of community life. The love relationship becomes exalted as a synonym for personal fulfillment and happiness. Romantic love propagates the ideas of love at first sight and sacrificial love. Regarding love, women are understood as more loving, emotional and responsible for promoting love and care in the home. We understand that romantic love fulfills the function of rectifying and legitimizing patriarchy and capitalism by reinforcing fixed and stereotyped roles for women who confine them to the sphere of private life and social reproduction, an important sphere for the maintenance of the capitalist mode of production and patriarchy.Item Psicologia social comunitária e o sistema único de assistência social: práticas e diálogos nos CRAS de Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-17) Carmo, Mirelly Conceição do; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0864307656064852; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; Lemos, Gardenia de Souza Furtado; Oliveira, Isabel Maria Farias Fernandes deThe work of psychologists in public policies is expanding considerably. With job offers in different contexts, this expansion has been causing significant theoretical-practical changes in Psychology. With the creation of the National Social Assistance Policy in 2004 and the insertion of psychologists as technicians in social work with families, Psychology needed new perspectives in face of this new field of work. This dissertation intends to identify critical practices and dialogues of the community psychologist who works in Social Assistance Policy, specifically of psychologists that work in the Social Assistance Reference Centers – CRAS in Goiânia, Goiás – and their interfaces with Psychology’s social commitment. In this sense, the objective is to find dialogues and practices that are socially engaged and that aim the emancipation of social assistance users. The theoretical references are Community Social Psychology, Social Public Policies and Psychology’s Social Commitment. The method is semi-structured interviews and subsequent content analysis.Item Análise do comportamento e marxismo: (im)possibilidades de diálogo(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-08-26) Castro, Thales Cavalcanti e; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0864307656064852; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; Santos, André Vieira dos; Boechat, Filipe Milagros; Heck, Elisa Tavares Sanabio; Souza, Tatiana Machiavelli CarmoThis study aimed to analyze the relationship between behavior analysis and Marxism questioning the foundations and concepts of social transformation present in the proposals of dialogue. The work had the following objectives: to identify the main concerns present in works that relate to behavior analysis and Marxism; the identification of the treatment given to both areas; the identification of the concepts of social transformation from the proposed link between Marxism and Behavior Analysis; the discussion of possible contributions and contradictions in the relationship between Behavior Analysis and Marxism. The research is a literature review that investigated 17 texts there was a dialogue between behavior analysis and Marxism or an attempt to expand one of these theories with other frameworks. The texts were categorized into five axes of analysis: 1) the fundamentals, 2) the definition of behaviorism, 3) definition of Marxism, 4) type of relationship and 5) concept of social transformation. The research reached the following results: there is no single conception of behaviorism and Marxism in the analyzed texts; in all text, Marxism appears only as a field of knowledge, i.e., aims to study the capitalist society; in half of them, Marxism appears also as a guide to action, with different meanings as critical to society, revolutionary design, as well as jobs that do not bring any conception of social transformation. These results can contribute to critical reflection on the limits and possibilities in the relationship between Behavior Analysis and Marxism in relation to efforts for human emancipation. Theoretical issues were covered that would provide a basis for critical understanding raised from the rise of Psychology, linked to capitalism, to the current scenario of youth. To gather data and exercise it on today's youth about work, a survey was carried out and, after that, an analysis of articles on the subject. For this, it was necessary to search for national articles on CG procedures for public schools or low-income people. Then, by analyzing them through critical criticism, the articles showed that the proposals guided by the social-historical approach conceives the career guidance as a means of raising awareness about the determinants of professional choice, discuss the dichotomization between individual and society and focus on the elaboration of the life project. A preoccupation present in the experiences was to face the concepts of neoliberal ideology that are sought in individualistic beliefs about professional choice or life projects. However, it also exposes gaps that raise concerns about acting. It was noticed that the intervention did not detail or data on the reality of Brazilian working youth. The CG in the social-historical approach may be contributing to the capture of subjectivity by raising resources to adapt to the world of work. For that added follow-ups after the interventions to observe how their contributions to the awareness of the world of work and the long-term functionality of this performance. It was possible to conclude that this intervention implies limitations that need to be understood and transformed, and that this is a means that can contribute to working youth, but immediately. It does not show itself as a means of revolutionary transformation, but it presents tendencies towards political transformations.Item Indivíduo, propriedade privada e Psicologia Crítica: contribuições marxistas para a crítica da Psicologia e do capitalismo(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-05-14) Mesquita, Tamara de Castro Mendonça; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0864307656064852; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; Santos, André Vieira dos; Silva, Hugo Leonardo Fonseca daThe study at issue aimed to carry out a bibliographic survey about the presence of a debate on private property in the scope of Psychology, especially in the field referred to as Critical Psychology. Based on the understanding that this strand reunites trends that criticize society and the traditional perspectives of the discipline, it was considered necessary to highlight the importance of a criticism that takes property into account, since this is a central category both in the structure of the current society and in the model of individual abstracted by Psychology. Therefore, here is presented an analysis of the main thematic fields in which references to property were found in the literature in Psychology available online, especially those that sought to identify the cathegory as a structuring of capitalism and, thus, could enroll themselves in a perspective of social transformation. Once a gap was found around this debate in the texts found, and/or not very in-depth conceptions about the topic of property, marxists contributions were raised to situate the category in the process of human self-constitution, aiming to understand its historical movement and its consequences in the realization of the potentialities that are placed on the horizon of the individual and gender. The relationship of mutual determination between private property and alienation was analyzed, along the different modes of production, mainly the implications that it puts to the division of labor and the possibility of the individual's existence as an active entity in history. As a conclusion, the argument presented is that, in different formats, the existence of property has always dragged with itself relations of exploitation and violence, which are restored under new configurations and reiterate a mode of alienated sociability. In this respect, this study sought to make theoretical-practical considerations that align Critical Psychology with the construction of an ethical-political project that seeks suprasumption of property and its consequences, since a position that locates discipline in the class struggleItem Subjetividade e ontologia materialista: articulações teóricas entre psicologia e marxismo(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-02-23) Morais, Amom Rodrigues de; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0864307656064852; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; Costa, Gilmaisa; Boechat, FilipeThe purpose of this text is to study the relationship between psychology and Marxism in relation to the concept of subjectivity. It intends to explore the materialist ontology of the social being developed by György Lukács, seeking grounds for a materialist historical approach to subjectivity. Thus, in a first moment, aspects of the development of the subjective experience in the modernity, related to the historical constitution of the scientific psychology, are approached. Next, we present contributions from Marxism to the study of subjectivity, in addition to the summary of some psychological theories that have articulated with Marxism. It addresses, in addition, Marxist currents that worked with the subjectivity category. This discussion points out that in the sociability of capitalism, categories of absorption of the sensitive experience undergo transformations which, in turn, require adjustments of scientific knowledge. The impasse lies in identifying if this epistemic matrix, on which Psychology is based, is sufficient to apprehend the totality of the complex of subjectivity and to point out the margin of its transformation. With this, we pass to a second moment, in the interpretation of a systematic part of the Ontology of the social being. In his first chapter, an overview of the work and time of Lukács, the roots and main motivations that preceded the elaboration of his Ontology, is presented. Next, we present an analysis of the relation between subjectivity and the ontological centrality of the work, which indicates to a theory of materialist ontogenesis of the subject. In this sense, subjectivity is this new ontological sphere that exerts force in the categorial unfolding of social reality. Finally, we analyze the chapter of social reproduction, which represents the amplified reproduction of subjectivity at a more complex, more mediated and richer level. In this way, the main contribution of the social ontology of being is to offer a philosophy of the immanence of subjectivity that manifests itself in the history of the transformation of the world of men. Item Contribuições da crítica materialista histórica feminista para confrontar a hegemonia psicológica: opressão das mulheres e família no Brasil para além da psicologia crítica e do feminismo(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-06-26) Resende, Nicole Soares; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0864307656064852; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; Paiva, Ilana Lemos de; Santos, Lívia Gomes dosIn this research, we aim to contribute to the historical materialist feminist critique to confront the foundations of Psychology based on the oppression of women and families in Brazil. To achieve this, we anchor ourselves in the theoretical framework of historical-dialectical materialism and marxist feminism. From some critical foundations that allowed us to reflect on Critical Psychology and feminism, both of post-structuralist bias, we conclude that Psychology, as a science and profession, is rooted in the bourgeois society's need to use science to maintain its hegemony. Attempts at reformulation that consider themselves independent from historical processes reinforce the psychological hegemony in which its foundations were established. Therefore, we choose the historical materialist feminist critique to understand the oppression of women and families without resorting to Critical Psychology and feminism as particular specialties that hold the true knowledge about social beings. This theoretical-ontological basis enables us to situate the object in the universality of capitalism and identify that the material axis of women's oppression is the sexual division of labor, a particularity of capitalist society that inaugurated the fragmentation between productive and reproductive work. We understand that the bourgeoisie produces and instrumentalizes the inequality between men and women and the social role of the family as a unit of social reproduction to foster capitalism in peripheral and central countries. The specificities of the Brazilian context are colonialism and enslavement, in which the enslaved Black woman serves as the foundation for dependent capitalism through stigmatization, overexploitation, and invisibility. Through the historical materialist feminist critique, we manage to know the roots and material bases of the oppression of women and families and highlight the particularities of dependent capitalism, enabling us to advance towards the radical transformation of society by facing it in its concrete reality and not naturalizing historical processes. Thus, we can strengthen social movements and create strategies of struggle and confrontation beyond the abstraction of psychological hegemony.Item Contribuições da crítica materialista histórica feminista para confrontar a hegemonia psicológica: opressão das mulheres e família no Brasil para além da psicologia crítica e do feminismo(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-06-26) Resende, Nicole Soares; Lacerda Júnior, Fernando; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0864307656064852; Lacerda Junior, Fernando; Paiva, Ilana Lemos de; Santos, Lívia Gomes dosIn this research, we aim to contribute to the historical materialist feminist critique to confront the foundations of Psychology based on the oppression of women and families in Brazil.
