Item Abastecimento de veículos elétricos considerando energia fotovoltaica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-07-11) Oliveira, Giovanni Filipe Leone; Santos, Euler Bueno dos; Valle, Ana Cláudia Marques do; Santos, Euler Bueno dos; Belchior, Fernando NunesWith the popularization of electric vehicles, the need to install recharging stations will become imminent. It is expected that in Brazil, the adoption of electric vehicles to decarbonize the transportation sector will be slower than in the rest of the world, due to biofuels. However, it is certain that electric vehicles will be a considerable part of the fleet in the future and may have a profound impact on the electric grid. The advantages of deploying recharging stations can be verified when it is possible to userenewable energy sources. It should be noted that the use of renewable sources has the benefit of reducing harmful gases into the environment. This work addresses important electrical devices related to the subject of electric vehicles and photovoltaic generation. In addition, it proposes a hypothetical electric vehicle recharging station in the city of Goiânia-GO. An economic analysis of a photovoltaic generation system is presented to attend said station, considering the space available for accommodating the photovoltaic modules. There are also two financial scenarios where bank financing and the use of equity are considered.Item Ajuste dos ganhos de um regulador de velocidade tipo PI para acionamento elétrico a velocidade variável utilizando-se o algoritimo Simulated Annealing(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-12-18) Santos, Guilherme Fernandes dos; Silva, Wander Gonçalves da; Silva, Wander Gonçalves da; Oliveira, Marco Antônio Assfalk de; Guimarães, GiseleThe project consists in developing an algorithm in the MATLAB® environment to find the best tuning for a PI speed controller using the Simulated Annealing Method. An independently excited DC motor with an inner armature current control loop with another PI controller was used and modelled in the SIMULINK® environment. In order to keep the system linear, the gains of the PI current controller are adjusted so that, for the rated armature current reference, the armature voltage applied to the motor does not exceed its rated value. The speed control was realized in an outer control loop with the gains limited so that, for a specific speed demand, the armature current reference does not exceed its rated value. A nonlinear model was considered where a saturator block was placed at the exit of the PI speed controller to limit the armature current reference to the PI current controller.Item Análise comparativa entre as leituras de valores RMS de diferentes medidores, diante de sinais senoidais e distorcidos(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-07-09) Cunha, Luiza Ferreira da; Belchior, Fernando Nunes; Belchior, Fernando Nunes; Oliveira, Antônio Melo de; Nerys, José Wilson LimaIn order to meet the need for equipment that emulates different load conditions in electric motors, the system described in this article was designed in conjunction with Prof. Dr. Geyverson Teixeira, to be incorporated into the laboratories of the Federal University of Goiás. Using a simplified architecture in the design, the construction, use and maintenance of the system can be done quicklywith components easily found in the market. The premise of the equipment is to drain an electric current with known value from an electric generator, so that by varying the value of this current, a load can be emulated on the generator shaft. The power value is controlled from a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) generator, where the pulse duration determines an average current value. The power generated will be dissipated into a specific resistor, designed for high power dissipation, coupled to a temperature monitoring sensor and cooling system, to prevent overheating and damage. Information about the system will be displayed on an LCD display for operation.Item Análise da eficiência energética em função da troca de motores de indução em uma empresa de saneamento(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-01-15) Souza Neto, José Gois Pery; Santos Neto, Miguel Alves dos; Belchior, Fernado Nunes; Belchior, Fernando Nunes; Veloso, Eduardo José Frauche; Castro, Marcelo Stehling; Oliveira, Antonio Melo deThis paper has as main objective to analyze the motors of a sanitation company and to calculate the energy efficiency obtained when replacing the standard motors with high performance motors. Therefore, it was necessary to create an interface that would allow us to determine the financial savings by replacing standard induction motors with high efficiency induction motors. For the execution of the interface was used Excel software, making use of its macros and VBA to create the program. One of the big problems with the induction motors employed today by the sanitation company is their performance, as these motors have been running for a long time and their performance is no longer the same, to the point of providing quite different performance than they were designed to attend, which makes them consume more energy than necessary, increasing the energy costs of sanitation companies, making this one of the main operating costs in the companies. For this reason, investing in energy efficiency by switching from standard induction motors to high performance induction motors is important as they have considerably reduced energy costs in sanitation companies. With the study it is verified that the motors used in a sanitation company are important for the costs of the same, since they are related to pumping, which is the basic activity of supply systems, therefore all operational cost reduction in them is relevant to mitigate costs, to enable the expansion of the scope of basic sanitation.Item Análise de correção do fator de potência em redes de distribuição com geração fotovoltaica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-05-23) Vilela, Rafael Dezidério; Sousa, Vagner Vilela de; Garces Negrete, Lina Paola; Brigatto, Gelson Antônio Andreâ; Brigatto, Gelson Antônio Andreâ; Garces Negrete, Lina Paola; Belchior, Fernando NunesThe implementation of photovoltaic generation in electricity distribution networks can help reduce losses and improve the voltage profile of the network. Photovoltaic generators typically operate their inverters with a unity power factor, which impacts their economic feasibility studies. However, operating photovoltaic generators with a power factor close to unity can also bring benefits to distribution networks by providing reactive power injection into the insertion network. This work aims to present an economic feasibility study for the case of a photovoltaic generator that operates its inverters close to the unity power factor, even if this option implies a reduction in active power generation. The study focuses on the remuneration for the provision of this service by the photovoltaic generator, and distribution networks of 10, 33, and 69 buses were used for testing and analysis of results with the proposed modeling. Based on the results, the locational character is noted as a major factor that defines the economic viability for changing the power factor, presenting positive and negative results depending on the insertion bus of the photovoltaic generator.Item Análise de faturas de energia elétrica da Universidade Federal de Goiás com vistas à otimização de custos associados a este insumo(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-11-30) Ferreira, Leonardo da Cruz; Ferreira, Lorena Ediluna; Belchior, Fernando Nunes; Belchior, Fernando Nunes; Oliveira, Antônio Melo de; Castro, Marcelo StehlingConserve the financial balance of a company turns into a challenge for any managemen mainly in economic crises which decrease the company incomes. Besides the increase of essential inputs, a electric energy, the challenge gets worse, when the actual energy supply contracts do not offer to consumer the option to choose their providers. Among the available options, one that requires no investment is the tariff analysis, in which a study of the electric Power BI ll is performed, making it possible to determine, through the data, ontract changes and/or consumption reduction to achieve savings. Therefore, this monograph was developed with the objective of proving the advantages of using the data analysis tool, Power BI, in relation to Excel, as well as performing a tariff analysis of the main electricity bills of group A; UCs 10013360033, 10011474414, 10011867106, 1001966956, 10016612017, 14678135; at the Federal University of Goiás. To this end, first the analysis of the highest bill of each billable unit, Blue and Green, was performed using Microsoft Excel, using the rates approved by the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) for the year 2023, thus determining which billable unit is the most economically advantageous and verifying the other components of the electricity bill. Subsequently, an algorithm was developed in Microsoft Power BI, using the DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) formula expression language, capable of performing the same tariff analysis for any consumer unit of group A listed, and a dashboard was developed to display the results. Finally, a comparison between Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI analyses was performed. It was concluded that the data analysis service, Microsoft Power BI produces similar results to those obtained in Microsoft Excel, through a more efficient and intuitive process with data visualization in an interactive and simplified way. Furthermore, four other dashboards, with their respective analyzes, were generated in addition to the two used in the software comparison.Item Avaliação de algoritmos de localização e mapeamento simultâneos aplicada a competição Robocup@home(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-12-13) Costa, Felipe Adorno Claudino da; Oliveira, Marco Antonio Assfalk de; Oliveira, Marco Antonio Assfalk de; Assis, Lucas da Silva; Vinhal, Cássio Dener NoronhaThe current monography deals with applications and evaluation of Simultaneous Localization and Mapping approaches to assistants robots of Open Challenge Robocup@home category in Latin American Robotics Competition. For this purpose, the Zordon robot from the Pequi Mecânico robotics group of the Federal University of Goiás was used: an automaton capable of moving on the floor of a house, detecting people, interacting with them and manipulating objects. In this sense, was tried to evaluate if the vinySLAM algorithm stands out against the current SLAM mapping approach used by Pequi Mecânico, gmapping. Therefore a ground-truth trajectory was proposed, created from data collected by sensors such as odometry, inertial measurement unit and LIDAR, moved by tele-guided navigation commands in a house with bedrooms, living room and kitchen, simulating the application of SLAM in a competition-compatible scene. For this, experiments were carried out to demarcate the environment and execute searched algorithms within the framework Robot Operating System. Computational complexity and algorithm performance were considered to evaluate which one best fits the reality of the brazillian robot. That work found out that the vinySLAM approach presented quantitative localization and qualitative mapping results similar to gmapping, and in temporal complexity reached a better outcome.Item Carga resistiva regulável para geradores CC e CA(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-07-07) Pureza, Lucas Hernandez; Souza, Sávio Gabriel; Paula, Geyverson Teixeira de; Paula, Geyverson Teixeira de; Melo, Fernando Ferreira de; Brigatto, Gelson Antônio AndrêaIn order to meet the need for equipment that emulates different load conditions in electric motors, the system described in this article was designed in conjunction with Prof. Dr. Geyverson Teixeira, to be incorporated into the laboratories of the Federal University of Goiás. It is a strapdown system because its sensors are strapped to the structure, removing the need for some calibrations and increasing its reliability by reducing moving parts. It comes from a negative feedback and through an inertial sensor (containing 3x accelerometers, 3x gyroscopes, 3x magnetometers, in an exclusive board) the control stabilization software was developed using a discrete PID control technique, with addition of a mechanism for displacement. The algorithm used to solve electrical noise problem (read in sensors) is Digital IIR 2nd order bi-quad low-pass filter, and 'Filter Madgwick-Mahony', which uses 'quaternions' to further calculate Euclidean angles: pitch, roll and yaw. Was also performed the Fourier analysis of frequency spectrum to set up the filter cut-off frequency. The use of an ATMEGA328-PB AVR 8-bit microcontroller has processing capability limitations and was necessary to use some optimizations and approximations. Its CPU does not have a FPU (floatingpoint unit) to deal with floating point calculations (they are emulated by software, the compiler AVR-GCC does it automatically). The IDE used to develop the microcontroller firmware was “Atmel Studio 7.0”. Telemetry and control software was developed on C# (C Sharp) in “Microsoft Visual Studio 2017”, for purposes of monitoring, measurement and simulation (filter response).Item Desenho do motor CC com regulação de velocidade alimentado por retificador controlado de recortador de tensão - análise comparativa(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-02-13) Neves, Gabriel Rodrigues; Pereira, Guilherme Rocha; Silva, Wander Gonçalves da; Silva, Wander Gonçalves da; Marra, Enes Gonçalves; Matias, LourençoThis paper presents a comparative study the speed controlled dc motor drive fed by either, a fully controlled three-phase rectifier or Chopper. The control system is done in two loops, an inner one for the armature current and the outer one for the speed. The regulators are the Proportional-Integral type, which gains have been adjusted such as saturation is avoided, keeping the whole system linear. For comparison, the controller gains were kept the same for both control systems. Simulation results are presented showing the difference in terms of response for the two different speed control approaches.Item Desenvolvimento de aplicativo didático para estudo da disciplina de Introdução a sistemas de energia elétrica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-08-14) Fernandes, Brendell Pinto; Garces Negrete, Lina Paola; Garces Negrete, Lina Paola; Brigatto, Gelson Andréia; Kopcak, Igor; Almeida, Maria Leonor deItem Desenvolvimento de um protótipo para cronometragem de provas de corrida com identificação por rádio frequência para testes de aptidão física do Centro de Seleção - UFG(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-12-17) Gomes, Daniel Pires; Matida, Léticia Morinaga; Santana, Adriano César; Santana, Adriano César; Melo, Fernando Ferreira de; Oliveira, Leandro Luís GaudinoIn this paper a brief application of radio frequency identification technology (RFID), used for the development of a race test timing system, is illustrated. Initially a contextualization, followed by an explanation of its operation and the components needed to complete the system. The automated timing system is a necessity of the Selection Center of the Federal University of Goiás (CS - UFG), which is responsible for applying several tests of public tenders, among them the Physical Fitness Tests (TAF), which are evaluations required for some public office such as police and fire brigade. The proposed solution is the development of an automated race test timing system prototype that can increase accuracy in timekeeping, facilitate candidate management, data acquisition and dissemination of results reports. That is, ensure greater security, reduce costs, probability of errors by human factor and expedite the application of this stage of TAF in the contests held by CS-UFG. Arduino UNO cards, MFRC522 and RTC DS3231 modules, communication protocols, Office suite Excel application, and Arduino IDE and Visual Studio IDE development platforms were used to develop this system. The Iterative Design method was used for prototype development, which based the evolution of the phases on levels of improvement. The system consists of three steps: data acquisition; data recording and data processing. The results obtained were: a set for data acquisition; software called “CRONÔMETRO RFID” with user interface, device configuration and data logging functionality; and a spreadsheet for data processing and reporting of results. The data recording and data processing steps were evaluated as beta level prototypes, which are able to apply in real tests. However, the data acquisition stage was stipulated as an alpha prototype, because the reading range obtained was not satisfactory. However, it proves the applicability of RFID technology for race timing.Item Estudo comparativo de mercados de energia internacionais(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-01-27) Carvalho, Amanda de Lima; Garces Negrete, Lina Paola; Garces Negrete, Lina Paola; Oliveira, Thais Gomes de; Kopcak, IgorEnergy markets are national and international structures that regulate the trade and supply of energy. They were just structures based on a vertical monopoly and after the 1970’s, they have been presenting important restructurings and obtaining significant results. Today, the world already has totally liberalized structures, in which the consumer has complete freedom in the search and choice of his energy supplier. This text intends to study the new classification models of developed markets, through their main characteristics and highlights and, in this way, by seeing the particularities that define them, it can provide a broader view of the current Brazilian situation in the face of the international scenario. From the detailing of options for restructuring energy markets, it is also interesting to study some experiences of certain countries, at different opening levels, and with remarkable mechanisms. Given this perspective, this text analyzes essential aspects such as the pioneering spirit of the Chilean market, the complete liberalization of the English system, and the memorable crisis in California, which provoked new adaptive changes in the sector. Additionally, an exploratory and comparative study is presented, which analyzes the main characteristics; the highlights; and the strengths and weaknesses of each market studied. Based on this general knowledge of energy market structures from an international perspective, the points of convergence and divergence between the markets studied are identified, making it possible to understand and anticipate the possible directions that will be taken with the regulatory changes that will take place in the coming years in the brazilian energy market. Finally, a discussion is presented on the challenges acquired with these changes and the liberalization of the Brazilian market, pointing mainly to the need for transparent rules and consumer engagement as pillars for the success of this market opening in Brazil.
