Resumo
The theme of this work comes from the study on the role of the school in the
deconstruction of prejudices within the Education of Adolescents, Youth and Adults (EAJA).
The authors that supported the research were three, to talk about prejudice and its origins
José Leon Crochik, to talk about the history of EAJA, the author Maria Margarida Machado and
finally we leave to discussions about the importance of practices pedagogical by the author
Paulo Freire. The path we built in this research starting from the analysis of the works and
articles of the authors related to the theme, we carried out a bibliographical research, with
analysis of sources. As a methodological path, research bibliographic was the initial step for
surveying the information we used also oral sources, such as reports from EAJA students and
the Political Proposal Pedagogical at the Moacir Monclair Brandão Municipal School located in
Goiânia (GO).
