Item Fonética e fonologia do Jaminawa do Brasil (pano)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-09-05) Cruvinel, Agmar Alves; Aguiar, Maria Sueli de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0950467502306607This work aims to study the Yaminahua language of Brazil, affiliated to the linguistics family Panoan. The people Yaminahua of Brazil live in the state of Acre and are distributed as follows: most of ethnicity living in native village near the urban area, while small communities living in the cities. Our main goal in the current in this study is to present a preliminary description of the phonetics and phonology based on phonemic theory and, moreover, presents studies on the syllabic structure and how the distribution of stress occurs at the word level based on nonlinear phonology. Furthermore, we present considerations about the linguistics family Panoan, including some of the major classifications of this language family. We also make observations about Yaminahua ethnicity in general, beyond special considerations about the people Yaminahua of Brazil. The research corpus consists of data collected from field surveys undertaken in October 2011 and July 2012 in native villages and cities in Acre, with voluntary collaboration of eight native speakers of the target language who speak Portuguese.Item Realização das vogais médias pretônicas no falar marabaense(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-12-17) Oliveira, Ronan Lucas de; Aguiar, Maria Sueli de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0950467502306607; Aguiar, Maria Sueli de; Sousa, Agostinho Potenciano de; Aragão, Maria do Socorro SilvaIn this study, through the analytical and interpretative support from Sociolinguistics, we systematize and describe the behavior of pretonic oral mid vowels /e, o/ by Portuguese speakers of Marabá in Brazil. Based on the observation of the sociocultural and linguistic diversity of this speech community, the research corpus was collected from 36 native subjects to guarantee that the sample plan obeys socio-stratified criteria relating to gender, schooling and age. We used the computational tool VARB2000 for the statistical survey concerning the frequency of the dependent variables. This tool was also used to calculate the relative heft of the independent variables considered relevant for this study. The results make evident the predominance of the low-mid variants [, ] (48%, 51%). High-mid vowels represent the second biggest quantity [e, o] (34%, 27%), and high vowels the third [i, u] (18%, 22%). The quantification of pretonic oral mid vowels in the speech of Portuguese speakers of Marabá confirms the system of variation in PB.
