In reality, this is also a research under a clear-cut pedagogical approach, so that there is herein an inten-tion to re-read, reanalyze and reinvestigate, giving rise to a speculative review, the rela-tionship between identity and culture concerning the topic patrimony.Item Escolas flutuante sujeitos transaprendentes(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2011-04-13) GUIMARÃES, Alexandre José; GUIMARÃES, Leda Maria de Barros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1491866271915819The Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) of the School of Visual Arts Distance Education (FAV-EaD) is the search field of this work. As educator (as) the search for improved processes of learning is required of us growing commitment to training and hence to the research in this direction and this work will comply with that role because it was through a deepening of the relationship between images and the subjectivities that they raised as a key to the production of knowledge is that this was necessary for me. Thus, the quest for understanding the educational potential of images and more specifically the moving image in education is the focus of this work in order, to see if the images of the film The Sword was the law raise in teachers visuality of practice teaching, or what would be perceptive of the contributions of each subjective universe (a) one (s) with respect to the visuality of practice teaching in the filmItem ESEFFEGO: imagens do pioneirismo da Educação Física em Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2009-06-01) NASCIMENTO, Fabiana Alzira Ramos; GUIMARÃES, Leda Maria de Barros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1491866271915819This study aims to discuss which the body conceptions from egress students of the first graduation class from ESEFFEGO are and what role these newly graduated students had in the characterization of the Physical Education in Goiania during the 1960 s. Therefore, taking in consideration that the methodological proceedings of this research privileged the senses and meanings systems of the subjects of this investigation, we were also interested in understanding the following questions: which symbolic elements composed the body conceptions of the subjects of this research? And more: how the body conceptions of the egress students from the first graduate class articulated with the conceptions of man and society that sustained the city of Goiania during the 1960 s? And in which manner the conceptions and practices of these students consubstantiates the Physical Education as a field of knowledge in the superior education in Goiás? It is expected as result of this research the visibility of the construction of the body conceptions found in the Physical Education in ESEFFEGO and its inter-relations with the cultural and social context in the history of the superior education in the city of GoianiaItem A (in) visibilidade da cultura negra africana no ensino de artes visuais(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2008-04-17) OLIVEIRA, Ivaina de Fátima; GUIMARÃES, Leda Maria de Barros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1491866271915819This survey aimed to argue about the (in) visibility of African Brazilian culture in visual arts education specifically examining the Law 10.639/2003 that has established the compulsory teaching of Afro-Brazilian history and African Culture in Basic Education. The field of art education is one of two responsible of this mission. I developed a bibliographic survey about the implementation of the law, considering the social movements, multiculturalism concepts and affirmative actions as relevant factors in the process of its implementation. My search started also with a concern arising from the requirement of the law: How we will work with History and Culture Afro-Brazilian Culture and African contends in the teaching of visual arts? In contrast the invisibility of black culture in visual arts education, I brought up some events that present different regard on black culture as source for a critical art pedagogy, aware about the diversity of our cultural roots and concerned to the enhancement of African culture aesthetics in our people heritage. I see the law as a contribution to a transformative praxis for teaching arts for the inclusion of ethnic, social and cultural groups excluded or included in stereotypical ways. But the question remains without answers because these are always incomplete. This research has shown that we have advanced, but still we have the difficult task of generating more questions about the exclusion in a country marked by social, racial and cultural inequalities.Item História com Dona Prizulina da beira do fogão à cultura visual(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2009-04-30) OLIVEIRA, Wolney Fernandes de; GUIMARÃES, Leda Maria de Barros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1491866271915819As a storytelling, this work aims at delineate new glances and senses about my own academic path and about how it is linked with other experiences shared on the imaginary that moves the daily life of my hometown. Base on the principles of autoethnography, I seek to comprehend and to rebuild part of a visual network in which some narratives gathered in Lagolândia (my hometown) are weaved, so that I can understand the role the weaving plays in the world views of its different actors. By reflecting on shared experiences about images, I propose a cartography wich defines places of memory. From these places, I show possible connections between orality, image and writing. This process I call "escrituragem". Thus, I suggestan amplification of the aesthetic universe based upon a subjective network weaved in the various daily contexts. Reality and imaginary, history and myth, all of them intertwine in one single braid, enabling new pedagogical approach es for teaching visual arts. Such process may pontentize other speheres as spaces where aesthetic, artistic and cultural knowledge may be developed.Item Arte/vida/trabalho e experiência docente: Produção de sentidos de hiphoppers da Vila Pedroso(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2010-03-22) PEREIRA, Vânia Olária; GUIMARÃES, Leda Maria de Barros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1491866271915819This research falls within the area of Education and Visuality of the Post-Graduate Visual Culture and discusses the meanings produced by social actors participating in the hip hop movement. The instrumental framework of support for the interpretations is composed of theoretical notions and postmodern research which is inserted in the Field of Cultural Studies. The work field rescues experiments that are carried out, in addition to those undertaken teaching experience before the masters, presented in the classroom reports, interviews and records imagistic. I adopt methodological quality/ reflexive principals for the research. Starting from a baseline of intent and ignorance, I expose the motivation and the origins of this study: I reflect on my teacher training and the Hip Hop Project, held at the Municipal School Madre Francisca in 2005. I follow the trajectory of the members of the Madre Hip Hop group, already outside the school, seeking to contextualize the neighborhood where they live and where the school is located - Village Pedroso, in the eastern region of Goiania. I seek an approach with the culture of the research subjects, discussing its conditions and social situations, political and aesthetic, through testing interpretive summaries. I attempt to identify how the analysts classify and understand their artistic productions, in contrast to some general arguments of the critique of popular art.Item O ENSINO / APRENDIZAGEM DA LÍNGUA INGLESA NA PERSPECTIVA DA CULTURA VISUAL(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2008-04-07) SAGHIÉ, Najla Fouad; GUIMARÃES, Leda Maria de Barros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1491866271915819This work focuses on discussing a methodological approach application of teaching based on reading and interpretation of the electronic and printed media image, intending to recognize linguistic elements (foreign words) linked to the subtitles from the ads. In the educational framework, suggesting an English Language teaching integrated to the Visual Culture and Art, contemplating the imagistic culture. This work, we also research the mediator process, that is, the teacher interference as a guide in the involvement between images, students and their representations. This dissertation is a result from a camp research, which on we applied an interpretative and prescriptive study about images from publicity done to twelfth-grade students (two groups formed by fifteen of teenagers) from a private school in Goiânia-GO. Reflecting about verbal language (written in English) and nonverbal (practices of looking images), in order to contribute to the educational context, that means, in the English Language teaching / learning process. This research was supported by theories of Visual Culture, Education, Discourse Analysis and Transdisciplinarity, argued for several theoreticians: Maingueneau (2004), Duncun (2003), Barbosa (2002) among others authors who had contributed, significantly, in order to a comprehension and analysis about this work. This way, we look forward to this investigation could, in some way, provide to go deeper into an interdisciplinary teaching with Visual Culture and the critical reading about the visual manifestations. I explore discourses about (homo)sexualities, informed by the perspective of visual culture studies and queer theory, in particular when addressing issues of education. The locus of investigation is situated in the experience of two online extension courses and one discussion group organized under the premise of reflecting on those themes. Based on dialogues with participants of the courses and the group, constituted mostly with students of an Art Education online undergrad course, I construct queries about the perceived discourses, and also the process of making and living the research. I tell this narrative from the point of view of an apprentice of investigator, bringing my personal experiences and connecting them with the theoretical framework, positioning myself as a subject affected by those studied discourses. Among them, the growing visibility of sexuality and the taboo that keeps up with it; the understanding that (male) homosexuality is essentially bound to gender; the difficulty in dealing with the theme on the classroom, for fear of influencing the students; and the existence of contextual factors that challenge subjects into discussing those issues.
