Item Estágio supervisionado em nutrição clínica: qual o olhar do preceptor?(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-12-14) Carvalho, Nayanne Duarte Madeira; Mortoza, Andrea Sugai; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4896920176590532; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8722459243487573; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; Queiroz, Maria Goretti; Corgosinho, Flávia CamposThe supervised internship is a compulsory item for higher education. In this context, we highlight the figure of the preceptor, an important and indispensable actor for the development of the stage. The preceptory is a relatively new exercise that must be accompanied by a pedagogical training that offers training to professionals for the development of this function. Studies that address the preceptory in health areas such are common in the literature, but few studies that address this issue in the area of nutrition, so it becomes relevant to collect, systematize and analyze topics related to this issue. The objective was to analyze the preceptor in Clinical Nutrition of the nutrition course of the Federal University of Goiás, in teaching hospitals in the ambit of the preceptor. Research of exploratory nature using the qualitative approach. A questionnaire was applied to preceptors of the clinical nutrition in two teaching hospitals where the internship were carried out, where three dimensions were evaluated: teaching-learning process, general competences for student training and interpersonal relationship of the trainees team. After tabulation of the data, two focus groups were performed with the preceptors of each site. For the application of the questionnaire and the realization of the focus groups, the term of free and informed consent was applied. Qualitative data analysis was performed using the Bardin content analysis technique. The results showed a lack of clarity in the conceptualization and delegation of the functions of the preceptor and the teacher. The relationship and the dialogue between them were evaluated in a negative way, because this relation was closely linked to the presence of the teacher in the place of the internship, considered insufficient by some preceptors. The lack of preceptor training was pointed out as a limiting factor in the performance of the preceptor at the stage. The presence of the trainee in the work environment was considered an agent of positive changes. Actions aimed at joint action between preceptors and teachers are important for the proper development of the internship. The university has the role of developing continuing education and training for preceptory professionals in order to clarify the roles and importance of each actor.Item Atividades educativas na rede de saúde na perspectiva da política nacional de educação permanente(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-07-30) Maia, Ludmila Grego; Sousa, Lucilene Maria de; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8722459243487573; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantônio; Costa, Nilce Maria da Silva Campos; Silva, Luiz Almeida da; Naghettini, Alessandra Vitorino; Souza, Sandra Maria Brunini deThe normative processes of formal organizations for the training of the human resources in the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) indicate that there are different conceptions of healthcare education, where terminologies such as continuing education and permanent healthcare education have coexisted in the same space of time as educative processes, sometimes being a confusing factor in the imaginary of the professionals. The implementation of the National Policy of Permanent Healthcare Education (NPPHE) defined these processes as learningwork and by occurring in the people’s everyday lifeand organizations. The goal of this work was to analyze the records of the educational activities performed by the healthcare units of the municipality of Jataí from the perspective of NPPHE. It was decided for a descriptive study, retrospective with documental analysis of the activities described in 2012. The results pointed out that the educative activities in the municipality have been mostly related to the healthcare education, focused on community, with demand and internal events to the unity, followed by the continuing education activities for specific groups. The number of activities focused on the worker was of 8,4% in relation to the universe of study. The justifications for them to happen departed from two categories: administrative issues and health care. Therefore, the effective implementation of the permanent healthcare education is a challenge for the healthcare services, by considering the pedagogical-political complexity in which falls the context of the public health in Brazil. Moreover, to manage the change of educative practices which are significant at work for work, one requires a continuous professional training.Item Formação e qualificação dos profissionais de saúde: fatores associados à qualidade dos serviços de atenção primária à saúde(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-09-11) Oliveira, Mariana Policena Rosa de; Sousa, Lucilene Maria de; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8722459243487573; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; Nunes, Maria de Fátima; Rosso, Claci Fátima WeirichAdvances in educational and health sectors in the twentieth century have influenced the concepts and practices of health professionals, particularly in primary health care, emphasizing the importance of training and qualification for the improvement of health care based on realities and needs of the population. The present research aimed to examine the profile of training and qualification of the professionals of the Family Health Strategy (FHS) and factors associated with quality of Primary Health Care (PHC) services in the northwest Goiania. This is a cross-sectional study whose data were collected through a structured interview, including the application of the Primary Care Assessment Tool - PCA-Tool. The study included 48 doctors and 44 nurses from FHS teamwork. Data were analyzed using the U -test of Man-Whitney, chi-square or Fischer test, Student-t test and Poisson regression, with 5% significant level. The results showed significant differences (p <0.05) between the profile of training and qualifications of doctors and nurses. Doctors had higher turnover rates while nurses were the most experienced and trained as well as had a greater bond with the FHS. The evaluation of the PHC attributes indicated a low essential score (6.5) and a high non essential score (96.9), totalizing a high general PHC score (6.7). The analysis of the professional profiles associated with the quality of PHC services pointed out that the low turnover rates of doctors and the positive contribution of trainings for professional development were associated with better quality of services. However, this association did not remain in the final explanatory model. It is concluded that nurses have a professional profile more conducive to working on PHC and the training and skills of health professionals in the northwestern region of Goiânia are related to the quality of PHC.Item Definição de protocolo para triagem nutricional: estratégia no cuidado do paciente com Esclerose Lateral Amiotrófica (ELA)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-08-30) Ribeiro, Camila Silva Manso; Peixoto, Maria do Rosario Gondim; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6813295858384008; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8722459243487573; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; Freitas, Ana Tereza Vaz de Souza; Nunes, Maria de FátimaThe quality of health care is a major factor for patient safety and a major challenge for the multiprofessional team in health services. The importance of institutional changes in the service provided and the incorporation of the educational process in the learning environment is fundamental for solving existing daily problems. Among the various problems that affect the patient with ALS, malnutrition stands out. The health care team should be aware of its onset as early as possible. Thus, it is necessary to identify a better nutritional screening method to predict the nutritional risk of these patients. The aim of the study was to compare two nutritional screening instruments for predictive capacity of malnutrition and functional capacity in ALS patients, aiming at a better performance of the multidisciplinary team of an outpatient rehabilitation service. Cross-sectional study, carried out at the outpatient clinic of a referral center for rehabilitation and readaptation of Goiás, from February to June 2018, with a total sample of 57 patients with ALS. Sociodemographic, economic, weight, height, triceps skinfolds, arm circumference, 24-hour recall in three days were collected. Handgrip strength, bioimpedance and albumin, hemoglobin and lymphocytes were also collected. Two methods of nutritional screening were applied: Nutritional Risk Screening (NRS 2002) and Universal Malnutrition Screening Tool (MUST). The Global Subjective Assessment (SGA) was considered the reference method to evaluate the performance of other nutritional assessment techniques. The comparison between the methods was performed by the Kappa test. Sensitivity and specificity analysis was performed using Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) curves. Of the total sample, most were female (57.89%), with more than eight years of schooling (70.18%), white (68.42%), socioeconomic status with class A and B (57 90 %). The type of non-bulbar ALS was the most prevalent (73.68%). 68.42% of the patients were on an oral diet and walked (56.14%). The prevalence of malnutrition, according to the Body Mass Index (BMI), was higher in females (39.39%). Most patients had low functional capacity (70.18%), assessed by handgrip strength and low cell integrity (82.45%), assessed by phase angle. The nutritional risk was present in 54.39% and 64.91% of the patients, according to the NRS and MUST classifications, respectively. The frequency of malnutrition according to SGA was present in 36.84% of patients. There was good agreement between NRS and ASG (kappa = 0.409) in females and between MUST and ASG moderate agreement (kappa = 0.440) in males. NRS and MUST had high sensitivity (85.71% and 90.48%, respectively) to identify nutritional risk, but specificity was reasonable for NRS (63.89%) and weak for MUST (50%). It is concluded that for the evaluated sample there is a high prevalence of malnutrition and low functional capacity, being the nutritional screening tool NRS 2002 the best predictive ability to identify the nutritional risk in patients with ALS. The multidisciplinary team was offered a nutritional screening protocol for patients with outpatient ALS.Item Efeitos de uma intervenção educativa sobre o conhecimento e parâmetros bioquímicos e antropométricos de pacientes diabéticos(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-07-29) Santos, Cláudia Ribeiro de Lima; Peixoto, Maria do Rosário Gondim; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6813295858384008; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8722459243487573; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; Costa, Nilce Maria da Silva Campos; Bailão, Elisa Flávia Luiz Cardoso; Borges, Leonardo Luiz; Martins, Cleusa AlvesDiabetes Mellitus (DM) is a non-communicable chronic disease with high prevalence and high social cost. The DM is among the leading causes of mortality in the world. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of an educational intervention, based on social cognitive theory, on knowledge, and on biochemical and anthropometric parameters o patients with type 2 diabetes. A randomized clinical trial was conducted with 83 patients with type 2 diabetes non-insulin dependent, of both sexes, registered in a Family Health Strategy (ESF), in Israelândia-Go in 2015. The final sample consisted of 76 participants with type 2 diabetes divided into two groups, intervention (GI = 38) and control (GC = 38). The GI participated in the educational intervention, based on social cognitive theory, from September 2015 to February 2016. The GC did not attend the educational intervention, but continued participating in the activities developed monthly by to ESF in the Hiperdia. Data were collected in the GC during activities in Hiperdia; and in GI during educational activities. The study was conducted in four stages: 1 stage formation of groups (GI and GC), step 2 - the questionnaires (pre-intervention), and collection of biochemical and anthropometric data, step 3-educational intervention in GI, step 4 application of questionnaires and collection of biochemical and anthropometric data (post-intervention). In steps 2 and 4, was applied in both groups, the Knowledge Questionnaire Diabetes and evaluated parameters of control: weight, body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c ) were evaluated in these steps. Data processing was carried out in the program-Stata (SE version. 64). The Shapiro-Wilk test for normality was used to determine the normality of the data. Chi-square and tStudent tests were used to analyze categorical and numerical variables, respectively, with a 5% significance level. The results point to a significant increase in knowledge in all aspects addressed to GI (p <0,001). In relation to the metabolic control, GI showed a decrease of HbA1c (p <0,001) and waist circumference (p <0,001) compared to CG. In conclusion, after the educational intervention, there was an improvement in knowledge about diabetes, biochemical and anthropometric parameters, which suggests the importance of self-efficacy (AE) for empowerment of knowledge and control of DM.Item Influência dos programas de reorientação da formação do profissional da saúde no processo de trabalho: perspectiva dos preceptores(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-09-19) Santos, Weslei Passos dos; Sousa, Lucilene Maria de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3991646903823700; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8722459243487573; Menezes , Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; Queiroz, Maria Goretti; Neves, Ricardo Lira de Rezende; Lima, Dione Marçal; Provin, Mércia PandolfoTo meet the needs of the new profile of health workers, arising from the new care model proposed by the National Health System, the Ministries of Health and Education signed a partnership and as strategies, built public policies to approach graduation the work process of services and consolidate changes in the training of these professionals. One such policy is the National Program for Reorientation of Vocational Training in Health (Pro-Health), created to guide the training of health professionals with emphasis on primary care and the other is the Education Program for Working for Health (PET- Cheers). The PET-Health has the focus in the Family Health Strategy (ESF) in order to promote the teaching-service-community integration, one of the pillars preceptorship health. This research analyzes the influence of the Pro and PET-Health at the primary care work process from the perspective of preceptors. The study included 43 professionals, nine of the ten health centers Family (CSF) participants in these programs, which performed the preceptor function. The data collection instrument was structured in two parts, the first being formed by demographic, professional and academic and the second part by a Likert scale consisting of 32 assertions distributed in four dimensions, which aimed to identify the perception of the respondents about the concept of health work process, the work process in primary care, the teaching-service partnership between the Pro and PET-Health and activities influenced by the Pro and PET-Health. Excel program for typing and data analysis was used. The results indicated that the participants had a satisfactory perception of those aspects related to the concept and the characterization of the work process in the FHS, but were more critical in their responses about the influence of the Pro and PET-health in primary care. Doctors, teachers, preceptors with ties to the PETHealth and those with more than three years in this role had good perception about the teaching-service partnership and the changes in the work process provided by the programs. We conclude that, despite the influence of the Pro and PET-Health have been perceived critically for some groups, the program consisted in an experience of great value, but the study shows the challenges that health services and institutions education have to motivate and provide equal conditions for the development of the work of all preceptors.Item Promoção da saúde na escola: conhecimentos e práticas de profissionais da saúde e da educação(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-12-19) Silva, Ana Lúcia Alves Carneiro da; Lima, Jacqueline Rodrigues de; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8722459243487573; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; Marcelo, Vânia Cristina; Costa, Nilce Maria da Silva CamposIn the late twentieth century, health promotion emerged in answer to individual responsibility for health. Therefore, a service reorientation was proposed considering intersectoralaction as an important tool. The Brazilian Program Health in School is an iniciative focused on the partnership between Family Health teams and school community. To accomplish such partnership and build healthier schools, a program of continuing education is required. The aim of this study was to assess the knowledge and practices of health promotion in the school context. The study was conduct using descriptive qualitative research. Data were collected from the participants in a course on health promotion practices through focus groups and, later, analyzed using Tesch’s proposition. The results suggest that the participant’s concepts and descriptions of the facilitators and the hindering factors evolved from a discourse centered on the individual to a perception of the collective. Then, we suggest the need to expand opportunities for continuing education, approaching both theoretical and practical content.Item Influência dos programas de reorientação da formação em saúde no processo de trabalho na atenção básica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2015-12-14) Silva, Doraci Antonia da; Lima, Jacqueline Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4506057454261027; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8722459243487573; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; Ferreira, Beatriz Jansen; Queiroz, Maria Goretti; Sousa, Lucilene Maria de; Nunes, Maria de FátimaIntroduction: Reorientation in health professional’s education background that meet the needs of the new civil servants profile required by the National Health Department (SUS) represents a challenge both to the Ministry of Health (MS) and Ministry of Education (MEC) as the one responsible for training these professionals. To overcome this situation, the concerned departments established an agreement: The National Program for Reorientation in Health Professionals Educational Background (Pró-Saúde) and the Educational Work in Health Program (Pet-Saúde). Goiás Federal University is part of this program since the beginning, trying to integrate health students in basic health practice events. This study aims to analyses before and after influences of the process under managers and professionals managers from the Family Health Strategy Program (ESF) form Goiânia’s county, Goiás, Brazil. Methodology: Descriptive Quantity Study carried on with 174 (one hundred seventy four) people from ESF in 09 (nine) Family Health Centres (CSF) in the east, north and Campinas-Centre of the town. Data was gathered together through enquiries split in two parts: one including demographic, work and educational background and a second one consisting of Likert scale, with R=0, 92 reliability rate; 4 dimensions and 32 points to be analyzed. The 04 (four) dimensions consisted in D.1= work and work in health concepts; D.2= Work in Basic Health process understanding; D.3= work process and educational/work partnership; D.4= work process activities influenced by Pet-Saúde. The applied criterion Likert’s Scale was graded from 0 to 1,99 (unsatisfied), 2 to 2,99 (almost satisfied) and 3 to 4 (satisfied). Results: The majority of ESF professionals are female (89,08%), over 30 years old (92,52%), working directly with students (78,18%) and post graduated: nurses, general physicians and surgeon dentists (84,58%). The average for every dimension was: D1=3,56; D2=3,53; D3=2,87 and D4=2,88. In an analyzes axis, working directly with students improves in a positive way the understanding of the researched work process. Conclusion: ESF professionals and managers have a good understanding of the work process and health work process as well as the other related activities that accord to the Basic Health National Policy (PNAB). Although a critical perception linked to the before and after partnership between these different departments and their ESF improvement contribution need an extra target’s assessment as well as work and university narrowing strategies. Pet-Saúde professionals positive assessment for all analyzed dimensions suggests that this situation raises the establishment of a work-study partnership possibility.
