The Health Permanent Education, considered also as a pedagogical concept, has been understood as a significant learning at work through problematization of reality and possibility of transformation of practices. Moreover, must be guaranteed by the establishments of care of patients with chronic kidney disease. This study aimed analyze the perceptions and practice of Health Permanent Education, between professionals from a unit of renal replacement therapy. This is a qualitative study, of the research-action type, based on the problematization methodology, as proposed in Maguerez’s Arc. The data were collected through focus groups and participant observation with notes in field diary during the implementation of a strategy of health permanent education with graduate professionals who provide care in a reference service of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and analyzed according to content analysis, proposed by Bardin. The results showed persistence of a model of education action in the institution as a discontinuous training resource, focused on uniprofissionais categories and the need for institutionalization of the Health Permanent Education with the support of management. In addition to recognizing the motivation to work with problems inherent to the service work process, the implementation of a strategy with the use of problematization methodology led participants to develop the sense of responsibility for their learning and the possibility of change in the service reality in which they are inserted. The persistence of care practices in a fragmented way, besides represent a challenge, reinforces the need for implementation of Health Permanent Education Policy. Discuss problems and situations of the service actually led the participants to reflect on their practices and need to participate in all the health education process in the service.

Introduction: Any health-related procedure involves risks; however, they can be reduced with preventive attitudes, avoiding adverse events. The learning of the World Health Organization (WHO) safe surgery checklist is a means of generating preventive measures in the operating room and training leaders for safe practices. Objective: To analyze the results of a Distance Education (EAD) in a safe surgery for undergraduates of medicine. Methodology: A quasi-experimental study, with an approach of before-and-after educational intervention, carried out in a Teaching Hospital of the Center-West Region from November 10, 2015 to January 24. The intervention was an educational action complementary to the traditional teaching module and offered through a course of 20 hours in EaD, using The Moodle Platform, about safe surgery for 45 days. The students were divided into two non-randomized groups: intervention group (n = 48) and comparison group (n = 47). Descriptive statistics, Wilcoxon test, Mann-Whitney, Chi-Square and item discrimination analysis were performed. Pre-and post-test were carried out with ten closed questions with four alternatives to verify knowledge before and after the course in EaD. After the intervention, students in the intervention and comparison group were evaluated for performance on the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). Results: Of the 95 participants, the majority were female (67.2%), with a predominance of students under the age of 25 (53.7%). In the intervention group, 28 students (58.3%) did not know the safe surgery checklist instrument. When asked about the importance of the subject for training and for the benefit of the patient, 100% of the students answered affirmatively, and 100% also answered that errors can be avoided with the use of the checklist. In the evaluation of knowledge, students in the intervention group presented a significant increase in the mean score, from 5.10 in the pre-test to 6.16 in the post-test (p = 0.006). The means obtained in the OSCE were significantly higher (9.07) in the intervention group, when compared to the comparison group (1.06) (p <0.001). Conclusion: Students in the intervention group who participated in the EaD course presented knowledge acquisition. And a better performance in the OSCE compared to the comparison group.

The aging process of the population in Brazil happens in an accelerated way, which requires the public health sector an immediate response, mostly associated with the training of health professionals, in particular those who works in primary care, directly responsible for the promotion, prevention and health care of the elderly. This study was consisted in understand the process training of health professionals with college degrees, on the health of the elderly. This is an exploratory qualitative research, performed with nurses, doctors and dentists, who work in primary care in the county of Aparecida de Goiânia. The research tool used was a semistructured interview. Data analysis was performed using the thematic content analysis proposed by Bardin and revisited by Minayo. Were interviewed 31 professionals and from the analysis of the speeches were identified four categories: Training on the elderly health: Superficial Theory without specific practice; Elderly people: Who are they and what they arouse in health professionals; Attention to the Elderly: From the broad view to the fragmented practice; Distancing from the elderly policies, however approaching the Elderly statute. These categories are composed of senses core. We found that in graduation there is little in undergraduate and / or absence of health contents about the elderly, as well as little demand and supply for specializations and the continued and permanent health education is absent in the service of everyday life; feelings and perceptions highlighted in the care process of older people influence in situations experienced in primary care; there is an amplified conception of health, but with implementation constraints due to organization of service that is still centered care rather than on care; there is still a lack of knowledge about the National Health Policy for the Elderly. We conclude that the training of health professionals in relation to the elderly is limited, due to the process of training that during graduation is shallow and remains in service, which offers few opportunities for qualification.

The present study sought to identify the typology of trend of changes in which two medical schools from Goiás (one public and one private), comparing these results to those obtained by the Comissão de Avaliação de Escolas da Área da Saúde / Associação Brasileira de Educação Médica in 2008 and 2013. This is a descriptive and exploratory study, qualitative and quantitative, along the lines of the Comissão de Avaliação de Escolas da Área da Saúde / Associação Brasileira de Educação Médica Medical Schools Evaluation Program, which proposes the use of the Método da Roda, through the realization of a focus group and the application of a self-assessment questionnaire course for data collection. The self-assessment was carried out in 2019, by institutional actors representing the two schools who answered the 17 questions related to the 5 conceptual axes present in the instrument: world of work, pedagogical project, pedagogical approach, practice scenarios and teacher development. The objective answers allowed identifying the school's typology (Traditional, Innovative with Traditional Tendency, Innovative with Advanced, Advanced Tendency). The justifications and evidence enabled the qualitative analysis of content according to Bardin. School 1 presented Innovative typology with an Advanced trend in 2008, Innovative with a Traditional trend in 2013 and, again, Innovative with an Advanced trend in 2019. It highlighted as strength the Pedagogical Project and Practice Scenarios axes and fragility the axes Teacher Development and Pedagogical Approach. School 2, on the other hand, showed advanced typology in 2013 and 2019, with the axes of Practice Scenarios and Pedagogical Approach with a greater advanced tendency, and the fragile World of Work and Teacher Development axes. Institutional self-assessment allowed us to identify a movement towards compliance with the National Curriculum Guidelines, with changes based on Pedagogical Project innovations and the regular use of varied practice scenarios, however, the lack of adequate teacher training persists as an obstacle to the movement of changes, even after the incisive guidelines of the new National Curriculum Guidelines.

The National curriculum guidelines (NCG) for medical graduation state that the course should be centered on the student as the subject of learning, with the professor as a facilitator and mediator of the process, with a view to full professional training. Medicine courses must use methodologies that favor student participation in the construction of knowledge. The aim of this study was to understand the medical student's perception about the problematization methodology in the Competence Integrating Problem (CIP) unit of the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (PUC Goiás). This is a cross-sectional descriptive study with a qualitative approach, which seeks to understand the context where the phenomenon occurs, centered on the qualitative deepening of the discourses produced by students. Data were collected through a semi-structured interview that used a previously prepared script of themes. Interviews were made with thirty academics from the first to the twelfth modules about the unit called Integrating Competence Problem (CIP), which is developed through the problematization methodology together with the insertion of the Charles Maguerez Arch. For data analysis it was used the Grounded Theory or Grounded Theory. With the results obtained after carrying out the transcription and analysis of the interviews, it was possible to create explanatory categories of the investigated phenomenon, they were: Previous knowledge of active methods; Impact and adaptation to the CIP; Positives, negatives and improvements; Characteristics of the student in the CIP; Characteristics of the professor in the CIP; CIP contributions to medical training. The present study showed the efficiency and the contributions of the functionality and applicability of the problematization methodology in the CIP unit, such as: communication skills, research, problem solving, proactivity, how to work in a team, how to listen and respect the opinion of colleagues, they became more critical and learned to see the patient holistically, for medical formation. As a new methodology inserted in the field of medical education, there are weaknesses both in the training of the student and in the performance of the mediator professor, such as such as dispersions that were not carried out or carried out without reaching the objectives, the neglect of both students and professors, the lack of preparation of some professors, the workload of the curricular matrix, and the recurrent absences of professors. Through the correct applicability of the problematization methodology, it becomes feasible to train medical professionals who have a holistic view, who do not treat only the disease but the human being in an integral way.

The quality of health care is a major factor for patient safety and a major challenge for the multiprofessional team in health services. The importance of institutional changes in the service provided and the incorporation of the educational process in the learning environment is fundamental for solving existing daily problems. Among the various problems that affect the patient with ALS, malnutrition stands out. The health care team should be aware of its onset as early as possible. Thus, it is necessary to identify a better nutritional screening method to predict the nutritional risk of these patients. The aim of the study was to compare two nutritional screening instruments for predictive capacity of malnutrition and functional capacity in ALS patients, aiming at a better performance of the multidisciplinary team of an outpatient rehabilitation service. Cross-sectional study, carried out at the outpatient clinic of a referral center for rehabilitation and readaptation of Goiás, from February to June 2018, with a total sample of 57 patients with ALS. Sociodemographic, economic, weight, height, triceps skinfolds, arm circumference, 24-hour recall in three days were collected. Handgrip strength, bioimpedance and albumin, hemoglobin and lymphocytes were also collected. Two methods of nutritional screening were applied: Nutritional Risk Screening (NRS 2002) and Universal Malnutrition Screening Tool (MUST). The Global Subjective Assessment (SGA) was considered the reference method to evaluate the performance of other nutritional assessment techniques. The comparison between the methods was performed by the Kappa test. Sensitivity and specificity analysis was performed using Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) curves. Of the total sample, most were female (57.89%), with more than eight years of schooling (70.18%), white (68.42%), socioeconomic status with class A and B (57 90 %). The type of non-bulbar ALS was the most prevalent (73.68%). 68.42% of the patients were on an oral diet and walked (56.14%). The prevalence of malnutrition, according to the Body Mass Index (BMI), was higher in females (39.39%). Most patients had low functional capacity (70.18%), assessed by handgrip strength and low cell integrity (82.45%), assessed by phase angle. The nutritional risk was present in 54.39% and 64.91% of the patients, according to the NRS and MUST classifications, respectively. The frequency of malnutrition according to SGA was present in 36.84% of patients. There was good agreement between NRS and ASG (kappa = 0.409) in females and between MUST and ASG moderate agreement (kappa = 0.440) in males. NRS and MUST had high sensitivity (85.71% and 90.48%, respectively) to identify nutritional risk, but specificity was reasonable for NRS (63.89%) and weak for MUST (50%). It is concluded that for the evaluated sample there is a high prevalence of malnutrition and low functional capacity, being the nutritional screening tool NRS 2002 the best predictive ability to identify the nutritional risk in patients with ALS. The multidisciplinary team was offered a nutritional screening protocol for patients with outpatient ALS.

This work describes the development and use of a serious game aimed at children and adolescents with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). It aimed to contribute to the promotion of self-care in this population. This is a descriptive and exploratory field research, with a qualitative approach, associated with a mode of technological production of an experimental nature. It comprised two phases: the development of the app and its use. The using process was performed in two units, for child and youth dialysis, located in Goiânia-Goiás. The sample had eight patients, their relatives and a care team. The collection of data was in three steps and were used as instruments: document analysis, interview and observation. In the intervention stage, the game was made available to patients for sixty days, forty minutes a day, during their hemodialysis sessions. For analysis of the data, it was opted for the method of Content Analysis through the modality thematic analysis with the aid the software ATLAS. 7.5.1. The data allowed defining the following categories: Motivation, Perception of the clinical condition of the character, Perception of care, Potentiality for the learning and Impact of the game on self-care. The analysis indicated that the game generated motivation due to its simple interface and easy operation. The self-identification with the clinical condition of the character allowed children to exercise care and reflect about inherent conditioning of the CKD, but has no proof on the impact of the game in the promotion of self-care. Factors such as age and family habits were considered difficulties. Although the study has demonstrated that the app is a feasible tool for the teaching process, it is believed that it is necessary to develop new resources in the game and to carry out new interventions, with the participation of the family and the assistance team, to strengthen self-care actions in this population.

The Psychiatric Reform began in the mid-1970s as a complex political and social process presenting challenges that need to be debated in the network and territory plans, care, clinic, policy, human resources training in relation to treatment and care of people with mental disorders. The Psychosocial Care Centers are strategic devices to strengthen the Psychiatric Reform, with a more humane look and new forms of care that enable the construction of new knowledge and practices in relation to mental health. Within this construction of knowledge and practices are the skills that can be developed in the process of training or work. This research aims to investigate the conception of competence of mental health professionals working in the Centers for Psychosocial Care in the city of Goiânia-GO. This is a qualitative research with an exploratory approach. The subjects of the research consisted of sixteen health professionals from different categories, among them: psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, pharmacist, music therapist, art therapist, Physical Education teacher, speech therapist and occupational therapist working at CAPS in the city of Goiânia. For the data collection, a profile profile was used. The data show that the profile of the professionals is relatively juvenile (average of forty years), most of them female, all of them being taken on by the Municipal Health Department of the municipality, with a stay in the CAPS for approximately nine years and only 25 % have postgraduate / specialization in mental health. In addition, two focus groups were carried out. For the analysis of data, we used the interpretative analysis. As a result of this study, two articles are presented: article 01 reveals the integrative review on the concept of professional competence, showing that there is no single concept of competence, however pointing to the influence of the main conceptions about competence, from the country or the region of origin, being: French, American, English, Australian and South American. The French concept is the one that presented the most articles revealing the concept of competence as synonymous with articulation, integration and mobilization of multiple knowledges (knowledge, know-how, knowing to be, knowing to engage, knowing to communicate, knowing to live) helpers to solve complex situations and / or decision-making. Article 02 is the study of two focus groups and presents four categories: Training and Permanent Education; Worker (personal characteristics and satisfaction of the CAPS worker); Institutionalization of the CAPS and Work Process, revealing the institutionalization of CAPS competences and that the professional, regardless of the training, has to adapt to them when it will act in that space.

Estágio supervisionado em nutrição clínica: qual o olhar do preceptor?
(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-12-14) Carvalho, Nayanne Duarte Madeira; Mortoza, Andrea Sugai; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4896920176590532; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8722459243487573; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; Queiroz, Maria Goretti; Corgosinho, Flávia Campos
The supervised internship is a compulsory item for higher education. In this context, we highlight the figure of the preceptor, an important and indispensable actor for the development of the stage. The preceptory is a relatively new exercise that must be accompanied by a pedagogical training that offers training to professionals for the development of this function. Studies that address the preceptory in health areas such are common in the literature, but few studies that address this issue in the area of nutrition, so it becomes relevant to collect, systematize and analyze topics related to this issue. The objective was to analyze the preceptor in Clinical Nutrition of the nutrition course of the Federal University of Goiás, in teaching hospitals in the ambit of the preceptor. Research of exploratory nature using the qualitative approach. A questionnaire was applied to preceptors of the clinical nutrition in two teaching hospitals where the internship were carried out, where three dimensions were evaluated: teaching-learning process, general competences for student training and interpersonal relationship of the trainees team. After tabulation of the data, two focus groups were performed with the preceptors of each site. For the application of the questionnaire and the realization of the focus groups, the term of free and informed consent was applied. Qualitative data analysis was performed using the Bardin content analysis technique. The results showed a lack of clarity in the conceptualization and delegation of the functions of the preceptor and the teacher. The relationship and the dialogue between them were evaluated in a negative way, because this relation was closely linked to the presence of the teacher in the place of the internship, considered insufficient by some preceptors. The lack of preceptor training was pointed out as a limiting factor in the performance of the preceptor at the stage. The presence of the trainee in the work environment was considered an agent of positive changes. Actions aimed at joint action between preceptors and teachers are important for the proper development of the internship. The university has the role of developing continuing education and training for preceptory professionals in order to clarify the roles and importance of each actor.

This research analyses the developed experiences at internships and curricular practices, in the perspective of the Pró and PET-Saúde programs, on the graduation of health professionals coursing Odontology at the Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG), in the city of Goiânia. It was analysed the following discipline: Collective Odontology Internship II (EOC) and Not Curricular PET- Saúde/RAS (Education for Health Work Program/Attention to Health Net) Intership, throughout the description of the professional formation processes, on the preceptor and academic perspective, in their own graduation experience in the and for the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Furthermore, it was identified the focus of the course and it was described the conceptual attributes developed in the curricular matrix, in light of the National Curriculum Guidelines (DCN's). Also, it was analysed the incorporation of the principles and guidelines of the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) in the process of higher education formation. To fulfil this objectives, a descriptive study was conducted with a qualitative approach. It was used as data analysis techniques 1) documental analyseis of the political pedagogical of the course and of the disciplinary menu internship, 2) Observations on the intership shield, 3) interview with preceptors of the Collective Odontology Internship II (EOC) and PET-Saúde/RAS (Education for Health Work Program/ Attention to Health Net). The results showed that there is predominance of the guided formation by the National Curriculum Guidelines; the support of the Pró-PET- Saúde contributed to the integration teaching-service- community, favouring the implementation of the DCN's for the course of Odontology from UFG in the practice field. it wasn't identified the interdisciplinary work on the field observations, neither in the interviews, therefore, the inter professional remains a critical point in SUS, where there is a lacky of clarification and disposition to develop it. The execution of public policies in the education field and health graduation favours the implementation of the DCN's in the Odontology course of UFG and transforms the health practices. In this way, the research indicates that the making of both intership brought the students some learning opportunities, reflexion and comprehension of SUS, being clear its limits and challenges.

Maternal mortality is still a problem of public health in all the world, mainly when we take a look at the developing countries. The reason for maternal mortality (RMM) enables the visualization of the place that women occupy in a society and how the health system takes care of their specific need based on the principle of equity. During the pre-natal a careful attention can identity pregnant women that have a bigger risk making it possible that we make a planned approach that will avoid occurrences of emergency situations that are always accompanied by bigger chances of maternal and neonatal morbimortality. Evaluate the perception of the professionals in the health field, their practice in the care of pregnancy in the primary assistance for the elaboration of a proposal of a permanent education program in health, as a strategy to reduce the maternal mortality in the county of Jataí in the state of Goiás. It was done a descriptive, exploratory, transversal study, of a qualitative approach in the health education. The secondary data referring maternal mortality in Brazil in these five years (2011 to 2015) were extracted from information of the ministry of health (SIM – System of Information of Mortality). The collecting of data referring the perception of professionals about permanent health education was obtained through a focal group. The analysis of the data was done through content analysis. The RMM in the county of Jataí in the year of 2015 was 142 deaths/100,000 born alive, similar to the year of 1990 when it was established as a goal of the 5th ODM that this indicator reached the level of 35 deaths / 100,000 born alive in 2015. The pre natal is done by a multiprofessional team that knows their role in the care of pregnancy in APS, however fragile points were pointed concerning the quality of this assistance, the team work and the knowledge and practice of EPS. The professionals involved in the research do not know the PNEPS, and there is not a practice of EPS in the work place considering that the knowledge of the health education limits itself to the education destined to SUS users. Acting at APS by the practice of a permanent education in health is the proposal strategy to contribute for the changing of the scenary of maternal mortality in the place of the studies.

Introduction: The educational environment has a significant impact on students' behavior and learning. The analysis of this environment offers subsidies to the necessary adaptations to make the educational environment more conducive to teaching and learning. Objective: Objective: To analyze the educational environment in the perspective of the students of the physiotherapy course in a Higher Education Institution of Goiás. Method: This is a cross-sectional and analytical study, where the Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure (DREEM) instrument was used with 50 questions that assess five dimensions of the educational environment: Learning, Teachers, Academic, Educational Atmosphere, Social. The averages of global scores by size and individual questions were computed. The comparison of the dimensions of the questionnaire between period and the study cycle were tested using the Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests followed by the multiple comparisons test (PostHoc). Results: 179 students from a total of 232 enrolled in 2016/1 participated in the study. The average of the overall score of students' perception of the educational environment was 126/200. The Learning dimension presented mean scores of 30/48; Dimension Teachers, 28,3/44; Academic dimension, 20,9/32; Dimension Educational Atmosphere, 30/48; Social dimension 17,5/28. The items with the best scores were related to having friends in college and confidence in the approval of the subjects. The items with the worst scores showed absence of support for stressed students and emphasis on the memorization of contents. The students were more pessimistic at the end of the basic cycle (5th Period), in the Learning and Teaching dimensions (p≤0.05). Internal instrument reliability test, Cronbach's alpha (α), 0.87 for the global DREEM. Conclusion: The study revealed a more "positive" than "negative" educational environment, but it is important to note that individual issues pointed to strengths and weaknesses, indicating many problematic aspects in all dimensions.

Introduction: The ability to perform physical exam is essential in clinical practice in any medicine field. Observation, teaching and performing the physical examination is often poorly emphasized during the residency of Orthopedics and Traumatology. In order to promote staff’s observation American Boar of Internal Medicine proposed the Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise (mini-CEX). Our goal is assess Orthopaedic and Traumatology’s resident, using min-CEx, focusing on physical exam performance. Methods: It is study quantitative, transversal, descriptive and exploratory. The data were obtained using questionnaire and mini-Cex from March to June 2016, in four meetings. 21 residents were evaluated, totalizing 84 assessments. The evolution of the residents (R1, R2 and R3) evaluated by the Mini Cex was performed based on the Friedman test, followed by the analysis of multiple PosHoc comparisons. The comparative analysis of the assessments according to the resident's year at each meeting was performed using the Kruskal-Wallis test followed by the analysis of multiple PosHoc comparisons. Results: Through the Beran questionnaire, 81% of residents reported never / rarely or occasionally having been observed and criticized when performing the clinical examination. It was found that the residents presented a satisfactory result in the assessment of their clinical competences, in a scale ranging from 1 to 9. The scores obtained in the physical examination in mean ± standard deviation were 4,00 ± 1.89 for R1 (first year resident), 5.00 ± 1.82 for R2 (second year resident) and 5.09 ± 1.84 for R3 (third year resident). In the clinical history the scores were; 3.96 ± 2.08 for R1, 5.29 ± 1.63 for R2 and 5.56 ± 1.78 for R3. In the clinical reasoning we had 4.82 ± 1.63 for the R1, 6,13 ± 1,48 for the R2 and 6,31 ± 1,47 for the R3. It was observed a high satisfaction of the evaluated residents (R1 - 8.79 ± 0.63, R2 - 8.71 ± 0.46 and R3 - 8.78 ± 0.49), staffs were also satisfied (R1 - 8,15 ± 0,99; R2 - 8,21 ± 0,98; R3 - 8,38 ± 0,75). Despite satisfactory performance, there were some gaps in physical examination learning. In 75% of the evaluations performed, the residents had trouble in special orthopedic tests, 65.5% were not able to identify specific signs of physical examination that could assist in the diagnosis, and 91.7% did not follow a logical and effective order. Conclusion: The evaluation of the resident of Orthopedics and Traumatology through the mini-CEX was satisfactory, however learning gaps were identified especially in the physical examination.
