Item Abordagem de gêneros discursivos orais em livros didáticos de língua espanhola(2015-12) Alvares, Margarida Rosa; Preuss, Elena OrtizSeveral studies point that the oral genres have been marginalized in the classroom. However, often, difficulties in oral communication arise because a lack of knowledge about the discursive genre, although the speaker has the knowledge about the linguistic system. From this evidence and considering the role of textbooks in the language teaching learning process, in this article we aim to analyze how oral genres are treated on two textbooks of Spanish language. For this, we carry out a bibliographic research in which we analyzed textbooks chosen by the Programa Nacional do Livro Didático (PNLD), in the years of 2012 and 2015. To achieve our goal, we exposed a theoretical overview about discursive genres and oral discursive genres, present the methodology adopted and the performed analyzes, which made it possible to note that in the collections there are still primacy by the pedagogical work from written genres, although when comparing the approach, the latest textbook presents more activities with oral discursive genres.Item Abordagem linguístico-ecossistêmica da linguagem rural: uma primeira aproximação(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-12) Couto, Elza Kioko Nakayama Nenoki doThe objective of this article is to present some preliminary results of a research conducted in the small community of Major Porto, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The theoretical basis is ecolinguistics, above all its branch called ecosystemic linguistics. Some of the main concepts and categories of this theory are presented. The article also presents some results found in the area of syntax, phonology and leixo-semantics. The data were collected with two famale informants. It is shown that the local dialect is a reality per se, not derived from “standard” Portuguese, as is the case with traditional treatments saying that it “does not have verb-subject agreement” and so on. This is done by focussing in the dialect itself, not as a derivative of urban Portuguese.Item Abordagens cognitivistas na aquisição da língua escrita: revisitando O mapa do pezinho(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-01-06) Silva, Leosmar Aparecido da; Cerqueira, Mirian Santos de; Rauber, Andre LuizThis paper is a theoretical and methodological review of the article “Acquisition of writing: the textual construction in O mapa do pezinho”, by Rauber (2008). It adopts as fundamental point of view the cognitivist studies about written language learning: on the one hand an approach based on linguistic uses (functionalist); and on the other hand a mentalist framework (generativist). The methodology used in this study is the qualitative analysis of a text elaborated by a schoolchild. The results show us that, regardless of the divergences related to the development process of written language, cognitive sciences represented in generativism and functionalism have a meaningful contribution to the studies on the learning writingItem A abstratização de evidenciais no português brasileiro, no espanhol dominicano e no italiano(2020) Galvão, Vânia Cristina CassebThis article presents the result of an investigation on the development of more abstracted microconstructions based on predicative lexical evidential structured with the prototypical dicendi verb. Three Romance languages were contrasted: Brazilian Portuguese (BP) (dizer), Spanish (ESP) (decir) and Italian (IT) (dire). The evidential semantic domain concerns the source of the enunciated knowledge (Aikhenvald 2004; Casseb-Galvão 2001) and its coding can occur by lexical and/or procedural elements. The main hypothesis involves the recognition that across languages more prototypical lexical uses originate processes of constructional changes of abstract evidentials, with grammatical or discursive meanings, as [diski], in PB, (decir), in ESP and si dice che, in IT.Item Acesso lexical e produção de fala bilíngue: o processo de seleção linguística(2011-12) Preuss, Elena Ortiz! is article2 presents the results of an investigation of the pro- duction of bilingual speech, in which interlingual interference e" ects in the speech of bilinguals Portuguese-Spanish and Spanish-Portuguese were analyzed. ! e materials, designed within the picture-word interference paradigm, language interference (semantic, phonological/ orthographic and identity) and cognate (cognates, not cognates and false cognates) ef- fects were manipulated. ! e results provide evidence for the language- speci# c selection hypothesis (Costa et.al., 1999), since the naming laten- cies was faster in the related condition, in contexts involving language identity and phonological/ orthographic facilitation e" ects, as well as in the unrelated condition, when contexts involved semantic interference ef- fects. Furthermore, the cognate status of words played an important role in the process of lexicalization, a fact that needs to be further assessed.Item Ações para a revitalização linguístico-cultural entre o povo Xambioá: lições desde projetos comunitários(2013-12) Nascimento, André Marques doConsidering that actions to revitalize Indigenous languages in process of displacement are more effective if contextualized in broader sociocultural practices and real communicative interaction between different generations, the present work aims to present the successful experiences with potential of linguistic and cultural revitalization implemented by Karajá Xambioá Indigenous teachers based on sociolinguistic research, as part of the activities of the Intercultural Education graduate course, developed by Federal University of Goiás.Item Acontecimento e argumentação no jogo político: a verdade na construção de heróis e vilões(2018-09) Sousa, Kátia Menezes deThis article aims to analyze some statements produced in Brazilian media, in order to understand the types of discursives relations which form the political practices in the presente and which reveal the necessities of conservationist, social and moral values in the economy and politics. We take as hypothesis that the argumentative task occurs in the tensions produced in strategic joke of knowledge-power and in discursive event emergence. Also, we agree that the swerve on left in the political discourse can explain the conservationist decisions and proposals, when this discourse circulate in media. We base on Michel Foucault ideas to talk about security device, men conduct in a market economy and conduction of characters in religious and legal practices.Item Adjetivos: fio condutor da narrativa(Maria Zaíra Turchi, 2008-12) Murata, Elza Kioko Nakayama NenokiThis paper outlines the role of the adjectives as one of the constructors of narrative “Uma vela para Dario”, by Dalton Trevisan.Item A aesthesis afrodiaspórica na poética de Leodegária de Jesus(2020-04) Rezende, Tânia FerreiraFirst of all this article approaches Leodegária de Jesus’ poetic from the perspective of aphrodiasphoric aesthesis, a way of confronting the modern aesthetic inherited from colonialism and sustained by coloniality. For this reason the purpose of the proposed discussion is to show how the wanderings and unrest of Leodegária de Jesus, due to the displacements that she was forced to, impacted her life and manifested in her work. By the way, the procedures for interpreting of the author’s works follow the guidelines of the Decolonial Esthetic Paradigm (GOMEZ; MIGNOLO, 2012; REZENDE, 2019). The result points to a singular poetic expression of Romanticism, in the form of banzo verses, that is, the poetization of banzo. Therefore, her poetic form, different from the Brazilian romantic sentimentality of the 19th century, distances the woman author from the poets and from authors men and brings her closer to the black poets and authors (women) of Romanticism. So this is that I understand by aphrodiasphoric aesthesis.Item Ainda um corpo estranho? Mastro da Bandeira – Brasília, 1972: vozes-silêncio-discurso(s)(2020-11) Silva, Marcelo Augusto Felicetti da; Fernandes, Eliane Marquez da FonsecaMastro da Bandeira, Brasília, 1972: still "a foreign body" “invader” from the Praça dos Três Poderes? Shhh! Silence! This question-title guides the present [inter]text excavating discursive reflections on "the forms of silence in the movement of the senses" (ORLANDI, 2018) about the work of the centenary carioca architect Sergio Bernardes (1919/2002), especially this emblematic project. An object of intense controversy in the architectural milieu at the time, the Monumento ao Pavilhão Nacional is understood here as a symbolic/discursive element, in a critical operation between the fields of architecture and discourse analysis (AD) of French origin. Thus, we place ourselves: what possible effects of senses – effects in dispersion (FOUCAULT, 2013) – are produced from and around this event (PÊCHEUX, 2006) intertwining, entertaining, building, fragmenting, saying in silence, in implicit, enunciating in the opacity of language possible narratives-archive (FOUCAULT, 2017) on this work-personage?Item Akwēkrãwaihku Nãhã Rowaskuze(Maria do Socorro Pimentel da Silva, 2017) Xerente, Silvino SirnãwẽKãhã hâisuka ĩt kakuĩkre tô wakrãiwaihku nã kãtô romwaihku aimõ sissum snã krhêmba mnõ nmẽ, wanĩm akwẽ nõrĩ, kãtô akwẽ wadi aimõ tkrê samãr waihku psê mnõ pibumã. Basing on these signs, we try to understand the constitution of the vowel system of sixty-year-old speakers who were born in the rural zone of Balsas, in the south of Maranhão. The interviews were made informally during social interactions. In the speech events selected from the interviews, we will attempt to identify some forms of linguistic construction common to the local dialect.Item Algumas considerações sobre as mudanças em um conjunto de cognatos reconstruídos para família Pano(2017-12) Cândido, Gláucia Vieira; Santos, Wesley Nascimento dosThis paper analyzes through the Features Geometry (GOLDSMITH, 1976; CLEMENTS, 1985; CLEMENTS; HUME, 1995) and Syllable CV phonological theories (BLEVINS, 1995; CLEMENTS, 1990; GREENBERG, 1965; VENNEMANN, 1988) two phonological processes observed on the development from some proto-cognates to pre-cognates of Panoan family. These proto-cognates is a step furtherwe present in this paper based on the comparison and then the reconstruction of some pre-cognates which on the other hand have been reconstructed and proposed for as a pre-stage of Panoan groups and subgroups of Ribeiro’s internal classification (2006) for this family, that is, the stage after the split up that had taken place from Protopanoan to modern Panoan languages. On the development from those proto-cognates to pre-cognatesthere are some phonological processes that is likely to be common in Protopanoan, sincemost extant languages have still been triggering them, which are vocalic harmony and loss of vowels from the middle of roots(called syncope in the Indo-European reconstruction tradition).Furthermore, the comparisons and reconstructions we present in this text arebased on the principles of Classical Historical-Comparative Method (CAMPBELL, 1999).Item A alteridade constitutiva em aulas de inglês como língua-cultura estrangeira: a perspectiva do princípio dialógico bakhtiniano(2012-06) Figueredo, Carla JanainaThe main purpose of this paper is to discuss how dialogicity which is present in the development of Brazilian students of English and their Irish teacher’s discourse practices influences their subjectivities’ constitution and expression in the classroom context. Based on some elements that make up the Bakhtinian dialogical principle we notice that the other’s presence throughout the interactions with this study’s participants represents the fundamental factor to reveal their viewpoints as well as to rebuild them before their interlocutors, which can guarantee significant moments for the appropriation of English as a foreign language-culture.Item Alteridade e a formação de professores em novos paradigmas de ensino de línguas(2020-04) Rezende, Tânia Ferreira; Baptista, José dos SantosThis article aims to reflect on the otherness in Portuguese language teacher training, developing a critical reading about stigma and preconception resulting from the attitudes of Portuguese language learners and speakers of different Bantu mother tongues in Mozambican schools context and analysesthe consequences of stigma and preconceptions about the language of the “Other” in Portuguese language teaching. The literature review and document analysis are the methods used for the presentation of this reflection and, as for the results, it is expected to promote a Portuguese language teacher training for the purpose of respect to otherness, ethical and moral values and minimize discrimination and stigmatization in all school environments for the native language marginalization reversal and contribute to the maintenance of Mozambican minority languagesand value the national linguistic varieties and identities. Consequently, to reconfigure a linguistic and educational policy oriented to peace and humanization.Item Altjeringa e didgeridoo: dispositivos identitários australianos na espacialidade polifônica de Priscilla, a rainha do deserto, de Stephan Elliott(2016-08) Santana, Jorge AlvesThe Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994) is an Australian ilm directed by Stephan Elliott. It expresses socio- and aesthetically a perspective of devices that produce contemporary subjectivities in Australia. In this article, some aspects of the production of such subjectivities shall be discussed in terms of possible cross mobilities, present in relations strained by spatiality - in their lieux and non-lieux, lieux lisse and lieux strié (AUGÉ, 1992; 1997; 2006; Deleuze, 1997) - traveled by the trio of protagonists who, in the trip from Sydney to Alice Springs, meet an Aboriginal community in the heart of the Outback. Among Altjeringa and the didgeridoo, we will follow this meeting between homoafective and ancestral identities, which, on a certain semantic level of this ilm, indicates contexts of political and cultural negotiations in the historical and imaginative nation building process (Anderson, 2006), carried out by the stratiied Australian society.Item Um aluno formando de Letras (Inglês): quais são suas crenças acerca do processo de ensino/aprendizagem de língua inglesa?(2009) Borges, Tatiana Diello; Lago, Neuda Alves do; Oliveira, Vitalino GarciaThe aim of this paper is to present a senior student’s beliefs about the process of English teaching/learning in the Modern Languages course. The research has as theoretical framework studies in the area of teaching/learning foreign languages which focus on beliefs. As methodology, the case study was chosen and the following instruments for data collection were used: semi-open questionnaire, narrative and semi-structured interview. The results suggest these participant beliefs: grammar is not relevant in that process, group work is quite important, and the good language learner is the one that “pays attention to his teacher”.Item An attempt to analyse comprehension questions of a reading passage(Mary Fátima de Lacerda Mendonça, 1994) Dalacorte, Maria Cristina FariaThis brief study attempts to analyse a reading unit of a textbook used for teaching English as a foreign language in lhe light of Pearson and Johnson 's (1978) taxonomy of comprehension questions. This article also presents an example of a successful reading activity which explores ali types of questions listed by the Pearson and Johnson ( 1978). It aims at helping teachers of English as a foreign language to classify and balance the types of questions used in reading comprehension activities in order to ma.Ice them more effective and interesting for lhe leamers.Item An intercultural reading of Charles W. Chesnutt’s the goophered grapevine and of Thomas Page’s Marse Chan: racial representation in postbellum southern short stories(Joana Plaza Pinto, 2018-06) Rees, Dilys Karen; Pereira, Danilo NevesThis article discusses two short stories about the Old South, Thomas Nelson Page`s Marse Chan and Charles W. Chesnutt’s The Goophered Grapevine. To enrich this discussion, the literature written on slavery by African Americans shortly before the civil war is reviewed, namely the works of Harriet Ann Jacobs and Frederick Douglass. The point that African American author Chesnutt is better able to depict a more complex narrative about slavery and the old south than Page is then articulated. The relevance of the analysis of these two short stories stems from an intercultural posture that not only understands the importance of reading literature interculturally, but also recognizes that understanding other cultures and literatures helps us better understand ourselves and the cultures we are immersed in.Item Análise comparativa da microconstrução um belo dia / un bel giorno no português brasileiro e no italiano(2020) Galvão, Vânia Cristina Casseb; Boellis, CarlottaEach language contains idioms in its written and oral repertoire. These expressions sometimes come from contexts completely different from those used today, so we ask how they got to their current forms, what their linguistic evolutions were, and whether society and historical vicissitudes had an impact on their transformation. This is the case of the twin micro-constructions um belo dia in Brazilian Portuguese and un bel giorno in Italian. This article starts from the panchronic analysis of Silva (2017) and its description of the uses of the micro-construction in Brazilian Portuguese according to the contexts of Diewald (2002), in particular. The article includes an initial theoretical part, based on the subjects of Functionalism and Constructional Grammar, a second part of analysis of data derived from the Italian historical corpus, with socio-historical contextualization and a part of analysis of the contexts of use of the Italian micro-constructions.
