Item A formação pedagógico-didática de professores de biologia na perspectiva da didática desenvolvimental(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-03-28) Pinheiro, Regiane Machado de Sousa; Echalar, Adda Daniela Lima Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3758976350155947; Echalar, Adda Daniela Lima Figueiredo; Sousa, Daniela Rodrigues de; Oliveira, Natalia Carvalhaes de; Rosa, Sandra Valéria Limonta; Libâneo, José CarlosTeacher formation is a dynamically constituted field of knowledge and practice that is linked to other fields and dimensions of society, such as the economic, political, social and professional. When organizing teaching, teachers need to go through an education process (initial and continuing) that allows them to become aware of pedagogical-didactic work as praxis and as an emancipatory possibility, and therefore intentional. This teaching also aims to provide students with a critical and creative appropriation of scientific knowledge, historically constructed by humanity and transposed into school knowledge. However, it is a great challenge to think about and carry out a pedagogical-didactic education process that allows for content-form unity between the ways of teaching and learning scientific knowledge. Given the complexity of teacher education, the aim of this research was to understand the ways of organizing teaching in didactic-pedagogical education for Biological Sciences undergraduates, based on the perspective of Developmental Didactics, which promotes the process of conceptual appropriation of the content-form unity of Biology. Using historicaldialectical materialism (HDM) as a research method, an empirical investigation was carried out through a didactic-formative experiment in the optional curricular component “Topics in Biology II: Varied Themes - The teaching of Biology thought biologically and pedagogically”, in the academic semester of 2022, at a Brazilian federal public university. The data analysis was based on the dynamics of Developmental Didactics and the categories of the DHM. It emerged that the students were engaged in study activities during the course and that organizing and developing the teaching and learning process, from this theoretical perspective, makes a significant contribution to teacher formation. The thesis was put forward that in the formation of biology teachers, didactic-pedagogical work, organized from the perspective of Developmental Didactics, makes it possible to problematize the content-form unity between the ways of teaching and learning biological knowledge and the pedagogical activities intended for this purpose. The research carried out showed that in the actions developed by the students during their didactic-pedagogical formation, there is evidence of the conceptual appropriation of the content-form unit by the undergraduates, enabling them to have a more comprehensive and critical education. It also contributes to rethinking didactics in higher education and the pedagogical work of teacher education in undergraduate courses.Item A fronteira entre a produtividade e a qualidade de vida do servidor: uma análise da segurança pública goiana(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-07-31) Valverde, Marcos Cesar Silva; Silva, Elson Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1655651832997085; Bevilacqua, Solon; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4706313748524604; Bevilacqua, Solon; Silva , Elson Santos; Corrêa, Edwiges Conceição Carvalho; Marques, Vinicius Pinheiro; Lima, Ricardo Barbosa deThis study examines the relationship between productivity and the quality of life of police officers in the public security sector of Goiás, Brazil. Using an interdisciplinary approach, the research explores the impact of human rights, public management, and technology on this relationship. The study employs a mixed-methods methodology, incorporating document analysis, semi-structured interviews, and focus groups to investigate specific challenges faced by police officers, such as inadequate material infrastructure, moral harassment, and physical risks associated with their duties. The findings highlight a significant correlation between officers' perceived quality of life and their productivity. Officers reporting better working conditions and lower instances of moral harassment tend to exhibit higher productivity levels. The study suggests that public policies aimed at promoting the mental and physical health of police officers are crucial for enhancing public security effectiveness. Furthermore, the analysis underscores the need for more efficient resource management and robust institutional support to address the identified challenges. Improvements in working conditions, including the provision of adequate equipment and regular training, are recommended as essential measures to foster a more effective and humane public security environment in Goiás.Item A identidade epistemológica dos saberes presentes nas produções acadêmicas em Educação de Jovens e Adultos e Ensino de Biologia na região Centro-Oeste(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-12-17) Moreira, Fabíola Correia de Souza Araújo; Shuvartz, Marilda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7325765815766484; Shuvartz, Marilda; Benite, Claudio Roberto Machado; Oliveira Neto, Jose Firmino De; Machado, Maria Margarida; Soares, Marlon Herbert Flora BarbosaThis study is associated with the field of "Science and Mathematics Education and the Environment", subarea "Knowledge and pedagogical practices in specific contexts", of the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education/UFG. The training of Biology educators for Youth and Adult Education (EJA) is a growing field, driven by the progressive increase, in recent decades, of studies related to the modality and Science Education (CE). The concern with the teaching knowledge used in classes and in the teaching, process is not recent. Therefore, the guiding question of this study arises: would it be possible to characterize the epistemological identity of the knowledge(s) present in academic productions in the area of EJA and Biology Teaching, carried out in postgraduate courses in the Central-West region? Several theorists have dedicated themselves to the study of teaching knowledge, including Shulman (1986), Freire (1996), Saviani (1996), Gauthier et al (1998), Pimenta (2005), Tardiff (2014), among others, forming singular and plural concepts. Thus, the objective of this study is to carry out a critical analysis of the teaching knowledge present in the academic production (DT), on the teaching of Biology in EJA, of the postgraduate programs of the Central-West region, in the time frame of 22 years (2000- 2022), available in the catalog of theses and dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). Based on these theoretical assumptions, we conducted meta-research, using bibliographic research techniques, with a qualitative approach, supported by Dialectical Historical Materialism. We identified 19 academic productions (DT), which were fully analyzed after successive readings and filling out a collection form for systematization and in-depth analysis of the data, prepared a priori, gradually increasing the understanding of the authors' discourse. Most of the productions came from professional master's degrees, focused on discussions about teaching strategies. Finally, in the search for concrete thought, we noted the presence of all teaching knowledge that the literature points out, with emphasis on the knowledge of the epistemology of praxis, to the detriment of the knowledge of the epistemology of practice. We observed a pattern in the productions that evidences a movement opposite to the positivist nature of the initial training of Biology educators. This fact breaks with paradigms and reinterprets the teaching-learning process of Biology in EJA.Item A Implementação da Racionalidade Neoliberal pelas Decisões do Supremo Tribunal Federal em Matéria Trabalhista(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-07-10) Rodrigues, Liliane Meireles Filgueiras; Gonçalves Neto, João da Cruz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6257334752072083; Gonçalves Neto, João da Cruz; Serau Junior, Marco Aurélio; Santos Neto, Arnaldo BastosThis research was dedicated to verifying the implementation of neoliberal rationality through the decisions of the Federal Supreme Court in labor matters. It was an inductive, interdisciplinary study involving a social phenomenon (neoliberalism) and labor law issues, encompassing labor law as an expression of human rights of a social nature. It consists of bibliographical and documentary research. It begins with a brief history of the neoliberal movement, showing its position on the role of labor in the globalist economy. It was shown that neoliberal rationality, from the beginning of its formation, advocates the molding of legislation, jurisprudence and the division of labor to the needs of economic development. The understanding of relevant neoliberal intellectuals and their dissemination around the world was discussed. It was shown how this rationality is indirectly imposed by international organizations (such as the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank), as well as the recommendations of the Washington Consensus in relation to work (fragmentation of labor rights and deregulation of work). To this end, we used works by Brown, Dardot and Laval, Eucken, Hayek, Biavach and Moosa. The second chapter shows how labor protection originated, what its objective was, what economic conditions gave rise to it and how this protection developed until the 1988 Federal Constitution. It also shows that the Labor Court emerged in a political context that was more protective of workers. To this end, we briefly discuss how the work relationship in Brazil, since colonization, has been articulated between two economically and socially unequal parties, giving rise to: Labor Law as a branch of law necessary to regulate this relationship between unequal parties; and Labor Justice, as a specialized court, faster and aware of the specificity of the work relationship, the principles that regulate it and the social function of labor law. It was also discussed how the 1988 Federal Constitution, which followed a period of great repression in Brazil, introduced the paradigm of Social Humanist Constitutionalism to the country, giving constitutional status to the human being and to work, and providing for normative principles of a humanist, democratic and social nature (several of which are included in the branch of labor law). It was shown how Labor Law emerged as an expression of human rights of a social nature, since it appeared as a pioneering legal branch in the protection of a socially and economically subordinate class. It discusses the profound cultural crisis faced by the democratic transition resulting from the 1988 Constitution, given the implementation of neoliberal rationality in Brazil since the 1990s (more incisively after Dilma Rousseff's impeachment in 2016), especially in the area of labor law. To this end, it was based especially on the works of Bomfim, Delgado, Maior and Martins. Finally, by analyzing binding decisions by the Federal Supreme Court in major labor matters after 2016, it was found that this Court has been contributing to the implementation of neoliberal rationality in Brazil, ultimately cooperating to weaken labor unions, make labor rights more flexible, deregulate work and reduce the role of the state and the Labor Court, in opposition to the ideals of social welfare established in the 1988 Federal Constitution. To this end, ten binding STF decisions were chosen and analyzed. In order to verify the flexibilization of labor rights resulting from collective bargaining, in which Theme 1046 (established in ARE 1121633) was applied by the TST, a search was carried out on the search engine of the TST's website. Research carried out by DIEESE, CUT, CNJ (among other institutions) was also analyzed in order to verify the weakening of workers' unions, the precariousness of work and the speed of the Labor Court.Item A pobreza como alvo na modernização da assistência social: estudo de caso da adoção do portal Meu INSS para o acesso ao BPC(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-08-23) Costa, Caroline Levergger; Gonçalves Neto, João da Cruz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6257334752072083; Gonçalves Neto, João da Cruz; Serau Junior, Marco Aurélio; Pagliaro, Heitor de CarvalhoThis dissertation analyzes the use of information and communication technologies for access to social rights, especially welfare rights, and deals specifically with how technology is being used to access the Continuous Cash Benefit. It aims to answer whether modernization has generated social progress or resulted in increased vulnerability of the recipients of this public policy. It also investigates whether the use of modernization may be occurring as a veiled fiscal adjustment measure, that is, not formally declared, to reduce access to the benefit. The methodological approach used was a literature review and a documentary analysis of secondary data and empirical research produced on the subject. The INSS DIGITAL program was evaluated based on five analysis criteria: greater coverage and possibility of service, simplification of processes and increased transparency, speed in responding to requests, quality of procedural analysis and fewer demands and savings to public coffers. It was observed that the difficulties in accessing rights, arising from modernization, do not simply stem from technology, but from the way it has been applied by States to mediate their relationship with the vulnerable population and that there are already proposals formulated so that this modernization is compatible with human rights. It was found that historical factors in the evolution of social assistance and the country's own characteristics, as well as the existence of a fiscal adjustment policy, influenced the way in which technologies were incorporated by the State in the provision of services to citizens. In the case of access to the Continuous Cash Benefit, it was found that the modernization of access, as it occurred, did not represent for the vulnerable population an expansion of rights or even an improvement of public service, but reproduced a barrier to be overcome by the citizen and acted as a factor of repression of administrative expenses (fiscal adjustment) even with the payment of benefits, which has grown more slowly since its implementation.Item A proteção internacional do trabalho humano como resistência aos avanços do ideal político das forças do livre mercado: o “negociado sobre o legislado” na visão da OIT(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-03-18) Gratão, Carlos Eduardo Andrade; Gonçalves Neto, João da Cruz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6257334752072083; Gonçalves Neto, João da Cruz; Serau Junior , Marco Aurélio; Roriz, João Henrique Ribeiro; Azevedo Neto, Platon Teixeira deLaw no. 13.467/2017, which implemented the so-called Labor Reform, was one of the expressions of neoliberal ideology in the country as it was guided by an interpretation of labor relations as commodities to be priced by free market forces, with minimal or even no intervention by public forces in defense of the most vulnerable party in the contractual relationship, the worker. This law gave the opposing parties, the capitalists and the workers, the power to decide their disputes based on the free disposition of their will, despite the existence of legislation protecting human labor produced under a different political aegis. This precept became known as "negotiated over legislated", possibly inspired by classical liberalism, and therefore contrary to the understanding of the International Labour Organization's (ILO) Committee on Freedom of Association and Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations, whose understanding of labour relations is anchored in political and civilizational frameworks of social justice. Since the hypothesis is that this legal innovation substantially harms human rights, this research was dedicated to demonstrating that the neoliberal political ideal is contrary to social human rights in the form of decent work and that the Brazilian law is incompatible with the ILO's understanding. To this end, the research deals with neoliberalism, its way of acting against the welfare state, democracy and social human rights, by prescribing the preponderance of freedom rights and denying social justice. The research also shows that social, economic and cultural rights have the same philosophical origins as civil and political rights, and examines the justification for the bill presented by the rapporteur in the Chamber of Deputies, as well as some of the statements made by Congressmen during the debates in Parliament. Moreover, it also presents some data on trade unions in the post-reform period, from 2017 onwards, identifying that there has been a weakening of trade union entities, such as the withdrawal of the union tax without any transition period or adaptation rules and the creation of a series of new types of employee contracts, based on the ideal of individual freedom, which fragment the professional category and weaken the social solidarity that is indispensable for the strength of trade union action. Some cases analyzed by the Committee on Freedom of Association were examined in order to verify the interpretative parameter regarding the possibility of collective bargaining to reduce rights provided for by law, as well as statements made by the Committee of Experts specifically regarding the Labor Reform in the period from 2018 to 2023. In the end, the hypotheses were confirmed, in the sense that Law no. 13.467/2017 proved to be a true pro-business public policy, sought to weaken not only the legislation protecting human labor, but also the resistance structures of the working class, in addition to being incompatible with the ILO's understanding. Another important conclusion from a sociological point of view is that the centrality of work has long since lost ground in society to individual freedom under the political designs of neoliberalism. It was documentary and bibliographical research. The justification for the bill presented in the Chamber of Deputies and the Federal Senate were examined, as well as fragments of the deputies' debates using shorthand notes, all obtained from the Chamber of Deputies website. We also examined data on unions in the post-reform period already collected by REMIR – Network for Studies and Interdisciplinary Monitoring of Labor Reform, from the Unicamp Institute of Economics, and by CESIT – Center for Union Studies in Labor Economics, which It is made up of representatives from this Institute of Economics and DIEESE. The research had access to ILO documents from the years 1948, 1949, 1980 and 1981, regarding the preparatory acts for the adoption of ILO Conventions 98 and 154, which were obtained after requesting the ILO library through the email to library@ilo.org. The decisions of the Committee on Freedom of Association and the statements made by the Committee of Experts are data accessible through websites and documents published by the ILO, also accessible on the internet.Item Abordagem ambiental nos livros didáticos de química aprovados pelo pnlem/2007: princípios da carta de belgrado(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2012-03-05) DIAS, Karla Ferreira; ECHEVERRÍA, Agustina Rosa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5515276044247189This research had as objectives to describe and analyze the environmental approach in chemistry textbooks approved by the National Program of Textbook for high school (PNLEM/2007). This investigation is about a content analysis performed with the aid of three categories created based on the fundamental principles of environmental education as expressed in the Belgrade Charter (1977). Before the proposed by the reference document, the research sought to identify some elements related to environmental education, such as: treatment of social, political, economic, cultural and scientific environmental issues. The results showed that all books reviewed presented the environmental theme through different approaches. The readings, together with data organization, have enabled the creation of a thematic map and a descriptive framework that listed the themes found in each Textbook, as well as its distribution in different chemical content. The analysis identified some aspects, constructed with elements of the Charter Belgrade, within the categories scientific knowledge, knowledge/awareness and participation. In the first category were identified and analyzed aspects concerning the relationship of the content with the environment, the limitation of science face to the environmental challenges, the importance given by Textbook to the scientific knowledge for environmental understanding, the importance of knowledge and technology in the service of human needs. In the second one, knowledge/awareness, the analysis identified social, behavioral, economic and political aspects of the environmental issues. In the Participation category, aspects about the development of sense of responsibility and evaluation capacity were identified, in addition to raising awareness. The survey concluded that some environmental issues are treated in a decontextualized way by shredding the dimension of environmental problems which can reduce the complexity of the relationships between humanity and nature. Although not all books embrace all the principles of Belgrade Charter and even though there is an overestimation of the value of scientific knowledge to the detriment of other determinants for current ecological condition, it is concluded in this survey that the chemistry textbooks can contribute to achieve environmental education in Brazilian schools emphasizing the need for studies about the relationship between the triad components "scientific contents, teacher training and textbook" as one of the relevant aspects to effective consolidation of environmental education in the formal education.Item Abordagem contextual no capítulo de soluções em livros didáticos de química aprovados pelo PNDL/2012(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-11-07) Leite, Maycon Batista; Soares, Márlon Herbert Flora Barbosa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9698540158266610; Soares, Márlon Herbert Flora Barbosa; Mello, Irene Cristina de; Echeverría, Augustina RosaOur study aimed analyze the Textbooks of Chemistry Program approved by Textbook National Program (Programa Nacional do Livro Didático - PNLD/2012), searching to identify if there are different aspects of the conceptions of contextualization, specifically in the chapters of the solutions in these Textbooks. The choice of these concepts is due to difficulty of the students, especially in the study of these chapters, and mainly, because of the contextualization had been proposed in the academic curriculum in order to promote a broad teaching chemistry, involving social, politic, economic, environment and culture aspects, and not just scientific aspects. Thus, the data obtained from reading and re-reading these chapters, along with our theoretic reference, allowed the formation of four categories of analysis: contextualization as exemplification and illustration; contextualization as scientific description and formation of the concept; contextualization as understanding critical from relation of the Science, Technology, Society and Environment (CTSA); and contextualization as vision of the transformation of the social reality. The analysis of Textbook is justified by the fact that this is an instructive material widely used in Brazilian Education System, adding to the fact that the Federal Government has intensified the distribution of the Textbook for all public schools of the country. This is the analysis of the document with a qualitative nature and the data obtained were evaluated using the analysis Bardin’s content. The results showed that the authors of Textbooks analyzed recognize the contextualization as central element for the citizenship formation, but three from five Textbooks analyzed show a vision rather reductionist of the contextualization concept. We emphasize in this research the need of the continuity and consolidation of the researches involving the analysis of Textbook, considering the great importance given to this material in teaching practice.Item Abordagem contextualizada e interdisciplinar nos capítulos de equilíbrio químico e eletroquímica em livros didáticos de química aprovados pelo PNLD/2008/2012/2015/2018(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-06-17) Leite, Maycon Batista; Soares, Márlon Herbert Flora Barbosa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9698540158266610; Soares, Márlon Herbert Flora Barbosa; Echeverría, Agustina Rosa; Rosa, Dalva Eterna Gonçalves; Mello, Irene Cristina de; Rosa, Maria Inês de Freitas Petrucci dos SantosThe contextualization and interdisciplinarity in the teaching of chemistry imply the comprehension of social reality, through a critical-reflexive approach to the studied context, which circumscribes the very process of construction of scientific and technological knowledge as well as the appropriations and implications of this knowledge in the globalized world. The app are constitutive approaches of the epistemological action, inherent to the educational process, which result in the act of transposition from one context to another and to the internal structures of the learner, constituting knowledge. The Didactic Book is "the" didactic resource of greatest relevance in the teaching of chemistry in Brazil and the National Program of the Didactic Book, “Programa Nacional do Livro Didático (PNLD )”, presents as its main purpose to impose a minimum standard of quality to the didactic book offered in the Brazilian publishing market. This work was developed with the objective of investigating which are the concepts of interdisciplinary and contextualized approach that the authors of the chemistry didactic book, approved by the PNLD/2008/2012/2015/2018, present in the chapters of Chemical and Electrochemical Equilibrium of their respective works. And, also, to verify if the PNLD is promoting an inductive effect in the improvement of the quality of the chemistry didactic book, regarding the analyzed concepts. The research is eminently qualitative and documental, in which the documents analyzed were the 10 works of Chemistry approved in the respective PNLD, divided into 27 volumes. For that, we resorted to Bardin content analysis, which presents itself as an analytical method of supplementary information through new meanings "hidden" by a first reading of the text, concomitantly with the manipulation of messages to highlight the indicators that allow inference about a reality other than the immediate message. The method provided us with data that made it possible to create four categories of analysis from the perspective of contextualization and three categories from the perspective of interdisciplinarity. Those of contextualization were characterized from the different "context levels" presented, among which the one that came closest to the contextualized approach was the one that promoted greater approximation between school chemical knowledge and social reality, which went beyond the simple textual approach and the scientific description of daily life. The category that came closest to interdisciplinarity was the one that established the greatest degree of integration among the different disciplines, simultaneously to the capacity of relating interdisciplinary scientific knowledge to the understanding of contexts and problems inherent to social reality. The analysis revealed that six of the ten works analyzed presented contexts representative of contextualization as an approximation between chemical knowledge and social reality and only one of these six presented, simultaneously, conceptual integrations and contexts representative of interdisciplinarity as an understanding of problems inherent to social reality. Four works, the ones that did not get new approval in the last PNLDs, of 2015 and 2018, presented a reducing view of contextualization in their respective works. Nine of the ten works did not present a representative approach of interdisciplinarity as an understanding of contexts and problems inherent to social reality. In general, the didactic books are more focused on the scientific description of daily life as a perspective of contextualization and interdisciplinarity. The PNLD promoted an inductive effect in the improvement of the quality of chemistry idactic book, regarding the concepts analyzed in the chapters of Chemical and Electrochemical Equilibrium, in the movement that was configured in the ten years of the program. It is important to emphasize the dynamic "process" character of the work of the PNLD and of the authors and authors of the didactic book, which implies the continuity of the research that involves the analysis of the didactic book of Chemistry of the PNLD.Item Abordagem do conceito de vida no ensino de Ciências e Biologia: uma análise de artigos científicos brasileiros a partir da epistemologia de Fleck(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-05-07) Simão, Márcia Mendes; Guimarães, Simone Sendin Moreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0326214720994265; Guimarães, Simone Sendin Moreira; Queiroz, Wellington Pereira; Paranhos, Rones de DeusThis research presents an investigative study, a form of systematic review, aiming to identify in the object of study, scientific articles published in journals related to teaching and minutes of Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências (ENPEC), how the approach of the concept of life is linked to the possibility of a integrative teaching of the biological knowledge. The source of he categories and subsidies for the analysis of the construction of the ideas on the theme was obtained in the epistemological model of Ludwik Fleck, or in other words, an epistemological analysis was directed by the following elements of Fleck's thought: Thought Collective, Thought Style, Esoteric and Exoteric Circle, Intra and Interspecific Circulation. The epistemological referential was present throughout the investigation, so the investigative profile was understood as theoretical- methodological. The study object was selected based on adaptations of the established criteria for a systematic review, such as definition of research questions, inclusion and exclusion criteria for selection of study material and data collection to answer the previously elaborated questions, reading and material selection. Following these criteria, the article's selection was carried out in specific journals of the Sucupira Platform and in ENPEC Minutes from the insertion in a specific site of the journals or search for the descriptors: concept of life, life phenomenon, living being, life. After reading the abstracts and discarding the articles that didn't fit in the proposal, there were 13 articles for the reading directed by the epistemological categories. The collected data allowed the identification of theoretical-methodological links between the studies and also indicated the possibility of the characterization of a Thought Collective that includes the authors of the studies. The references of the studies pointed as a tendency the historical and philosophical approach of the construction of the biological knowledge, which made possible the reflection on the integration of biological concepts from an approach of the development of life's concept. However, some points of attention appeared, as the limitations of teacher training in science and biology teaching, and as the losses of the low collaborative research activity between the esoteric circle (researchers) and the exoteric circle (teachers) in investigative procedures in the school environment. In view of that, this study points to the development of future researches involving collaborative activities directed by teaching proposals of biological knowledge in the historical and philosophical, social and cultural dimensions of the construction of life's concept as a contribution to rethink the organization of an integrative curriculum and teacher training.Item Abordagem histórica do conceito de organismo vegetal na formação de professores de biologia: elementos para superação da impercepção botânica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-02-28) Freire, Joyce Caroline; Guimarães, Simone Sendin Moreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0326214720994265; Guimarães, Simone Sendin Moreira; Paranhos, Rones de Deus; Gonçalves, Leticia de AlmeidaThroughout the career, the Science and Biology teacher comes into contact with several challenges. One of them is Botany teaching, a discipline that is usually taught by means of memorization, that is, in a decontextualized manner and by dealing with many names that are difficult to pronounce. This research was based on two aspects, namely: (i) how discussions about plant organisms are carried out in teacher training courses and (ii) how the recovery of the historicity of a concept could expand the domain of the theoretical system related to the Botany area. In this sense, the study aims to reconstruct the logical-historical path of the concept of organism by focusing on plants and questioning their role in the training of Biology teachers. To organize the discussions, the investigation is constituted of three moments. In the first chapter, a bibliographic survey was carried out, using two databases, in an attempt to understand the scenario of Brazilian academic publications with regard to Botany and has to do with teacher education in relation to the History of Science/Biology. In the second chapter, the historical survey of the concept of organism is presented, specifically the plants, in order to understand what the contextual and historical contributions that permeate the concept’s history are. Finally, in the third chapter, it is analysed the Pedagogical Political Projects of the Biological Sciences courses, from Teacher Education courses of three public institutions in the State of Goiás. It is noticed that the production related to the history of Botany is still in its infancy compared to other major areas of Biology. In addition, there are few publications related to teacher education. In relation to the historical survey, the relevance of Botany for the organisation of biological thought and the possibilities of an approach that considers these elements in/for teacher training is perceived. Finally, the analysis of the PPCs indicated that, quantitatively, the courses invest in an “animal” and not a “vegetable” biological discussion. It is argued that looking at the History of Botany from the point of view of research and education can help to overcome its lack of perception.Item Absenteísmo-doença entre servidores públicos municipais de Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2012-02-02) Leão, Ana Lucia de Melo; Rassi Neto, Elias; Turchi, Marília Dalva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3769826743537934; Turchi, Marília Dalva; Corrêa Filho, Heleno Rodrigues; Souza, Marta Rovery de; Rosso, Claci Fátima Weirich; Bezerra, Ana Lúcia QueirozBackground: Sickness absence (SA), known as work disability justified by sick leave, can be an indicator of workers health status. In municipal government, like the rest of the country, the prevalence of SA and its main causes are still poorly documented, and are restricted to the analysis of some occupational groups, especially those who engage in health care or in institutions education. Estimates of the magnitude of SA vary widely and socio-demographic aspects related to nature and working conditions are among the main factors associated with the frequency and duration. Aims: To study the prevalence and the factors related to SA workers from the public sector in the municipality of Goiânia. Methods: Cross-sectional population-based study assessing prevalence and factors associated with sick leave lasting longer than three days for the health treatment from 2005 to 2010, in civil servants. Outcomes: 40.578 sick leave were assessed among 14.484 absent workers which generated 944.722 absent days. The indicators of sickness absence in that period were: prevalence of sick leave of 39.0%, higher among education professionals (47.7%) and health (41.9%), the mean duration of SA was 40 days / year per worker away and the average duration of Licenses was 23 days per episode. Predominance of female sexual workers, aged between 41 and 50 years, married, white, with high educational background, earning up to three minimal salaries, with their own house, with from 3 to 10 years of public service, having a professional bond and basically in operational tasks registered in the Municipal Secretariat of Education and Health. The main cause of sickness was mental and behavioral disorder followed by musculoskeletal diseases. The Multivariate analysis showed an association between sickness absence and the female subjects (OR 1,54 IC95%1,41-1,68), being older (OR 1,86 IC95% 1,48-2,32), married (OR 1,51 IC95% 1,13-2,02), having elementary school degree (OR 12,35 IC95% 10,39-14,69), income of up to three minimal salaries (OR 1,37 IC95% 1,21-1,55), having more working experience concerning the time(OR 3,39 IC95% 2,50-4,59), being professional in the health and educational area (OR 2,96 IC95% 2,60-3,38 and OR 2,90 IC95% 2,51- 3,36), as well as being part of the staff in the Municipal Secretariat of Education and Health (OR 1,69 IC95% 1,30-2,21 e OR 1,60 IC95% 1,23-2,09 ). Conclusions: The indicators of SA express the magnitude of this phenomenon in public service and can assist in the planning of health worker prioritizing the most vulnerable occupational groups whose socio-demographic characteristics and work organization influence on absenteeism due to illness.Item Acesso à alimentação especial no Brasil: política pública e direitos humanos(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-02-11) Souza, Juliana Carneiro de; Campos, Cerise de Castro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9109822142576433; Campos, Cerise de Castro; Saddi, Fabiana da Cunha; Prado, Mauro Machado doThe human right to adequate food (DHAA) is enshrined in article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, 1948. In Brazil, only in 2010, this right was inserted as a social right in the article 6 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic. The study discuss the guarantees of access to adequate food for infants and children with special dietary needs transitional or permanent, that due to metabolic changes, physiological or pathological conditions require exclusive diet. Among the changes, it is possible to cite illnesses affecting the gastrointestinal tract (vomiting, diarrhea), food hypersensitivities (allergies), malnutrition and inborn errors of metabolism. The lack or failure to provide special dietary formulas may damage the human growth and development and even consequence the death. Diarrhoea is a major cause of child mortality, killing more children than AIDS, malaria and measles combined. Considering the impact of child deaths from diarrhea in 2006, Brazilian managers of the Unified Health System (SUS) signed the Pact for Life, which aimed to reduce neonatal mortality by 5% and 50% infant deaths from diarrheal disease. The inductive qualitative method used to analyze the data collected in the Mortality Information System (SIM) - DATASUS demonstrated that there was a decrease in the deaths of infants and children up to 01 years of age in the Brazilian regions in the 2006-2013.Item Acesso à saúde bucal na atenção primária no estado de Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2015-10-23) Vidigal, Frederico França; França, Mary Anne de Souza Alves; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4260160A0; Rosso, Claci Fátima Weirich; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1137218060736306; Rosso, Claci Fátima Weirich; Nunes, Maria de Fátima; Bezerra, Ana Lúcia Queiroz; Marcelo, Vânia Cristina; Souza, Marta Rovery deIntroduction: Access to dental services offered to the population, as well as their quality, is a major challenge for the Public Oral Health in Brazil . The primary care plays a key role in trying to universal access with equity within a comprehensive perspective of health, because it acts in various sizes, from actions of promotion and prevention following the treatment of the main oral diseases. Objective: Analyze the access to oral health services in primary health care in Goiás from the external evaluation of the program Improving Access and Quality. Methodology: Descriptive cross-sectional, which selected information were generated from the national basis of the database of the external evaluation of the program Improving Access and Quality of Primary Care (PMAQ-AB). The study sample consisted of the 712 Basic Health Units (UBS) of the 246 municipalities in the state of Goiás who joined the PMAQ-AB (a 1216 UBS universe) and the 677 professionals who answered the interviews of the module II. Data collection occurred between July and September 2012 through a structured instrument, standardized, previously validated. For analysis, the data was sent to a bank of the Ministry of Health, through the use tablets and via an internet network. After sending these data were stored and grouped into modules I, II and III. Statistical analysis was performed using the software Statistical Package of Social Sciences - SPSS version 19.0. The study met the ethical and legal aspects recommended by Resolution 466/2012.Results: It was found that most teams- schedule consultations in oral health any day and any time of the week, and in the cities of smaller population size this characteristic is more present. Welcoming the specific spontaneous demand for oral health is performed by 63% of pesquisa¬das teams, but almost half of them do not use any protocol. The security agenda for Oral Health Team for continuing user trata¬mento who started their treatment is reported by 72.3% of respondentspro¬fissionais. The assessment of risk and vulnerability in the first service is held by 70.6% of respondents, while 67.3% report that the supply of vacancies is defined according to the identified risk and 40.9% of the teams have protocol that defines flow to care for people with special needs. Carrying out surveillance activities in oral health related to campaigns for detection of oral lesions and referral of cancer suspected cases is done by 56.1% of respondents teams while 44.2% carry out the registration and monitoring of suspected / confirmed of oral cancer. Conclusions: This study showed that better planning should be done in primary care the state of Goiás , to ensure access to oral health care as an effective gateway to the SUS. It was also possible to see that there is an association between population size and access to oral health services , and in smaller municipalities there is less difficulty the population to enter the network care.Item Acesso e acolhimento inseridos no processo de trabalho da atenção básica à saúde(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-09-15) Castro, Lorena Peres; Almeida, Nilza Alves Marques; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2486258562480055; Souza, Marta Rovery de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/115504257912315; Souza, Marta Rovery de; Barros, Patrícia de Sá; Veronezi, Rafaela Júlia BatistaIntroduction: Access to and acceptance of spontaneous demand in basic health units (UBS) are fundamental strategies of the work process in health, quality assurance and strengthening of Basic Health Care (ABS). Objective: To characterize the work process of the health teams related to the access and reception of the users in the UBS of the State of Goiás, through a national survey of evaluation of Primary Care carried out by the Ministry of Health (MS). Methodology: This is a descriptive, quantitative approach whose results were generated from secondary data extracted from the Bank of the External Evaluation component of the second cycle of the National Program for Improving Access and Quality of Basic Care (PMAQAB). The data were collected between December 2013 and March 2014 and represent a sample composed of 975 basic health units and 1180 family health teams from 242 municipalities that joined the PMAQ-AB in the State of Goiás. It was possible to characterize and discuss the health work process related to the access and reception, under two axes of analysis: characterization of the access to health services of the basic health units and systematization of the reception to the spontaneous demand of users attended by family health teams. Results: With regard to access to UBS in Goiás, only 9.8% work on Saturdays and 2.7% open during the night; 99.6% of the family health teams make a face-to-face appointment, and 43.5% refer to appointments on a first-come, first-served basis. With regard to the reception, 97.6% of the family health teams host the spontaneous demand, but the majority (57.4%) in the waiting room; 89.7% report risk and vulnerability assessment, but 25.7% were not qualified for such assessment; 4.5% do not provide urgent and emergency care and 43.6% of the teams said they did not have protocols to meet spontaneous demand. Final considerations: The analysis of the results allows to conclude that in relation to access to basic health units, there are weaknesses that should be reassessed by health unic system (SUS) management instances, such as: limited appointment marking system, pre-scheduled appointments, hours of operation of the predominantly commercial units, reservation of vacancies in the health professional's appointment book for continued care and absence of professionals in the health teams. Regarding the reception, in spite of the fact that most health teams affirm it, the results indicate that its systematization is under construction in the State of Goiás, constituting obstacles and advances that qualify the reception.Item Adaptação biológica e a evolução dos seres vivos: os fundamentos de uma ideia para a compreensão de uma teoria(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-04-08) Gontijo, Lucas Salvino; Guimarães, Simone Sendin Moreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0326214720994265; Guimarães, Simone Sendin Moreira; Paranhos, Rones de Deus; Nascimento Júnior, Antônio FernandesThe objective of this theoretical research is to reveal which elements of the historicity of the biological adaptation concept can be considered central to the understanding of the theory of the evolution of species in the formation of biology teachers, from the approach of History and Philosophy of Science (HPS); in addition to seeking a dialogue with these elements in the Pedagogical Project of the Degree Course (PDC) in Biological Sciences at the Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG). Therefore, the focus of the analysis was to search works – original and translations – of philosophers and naturalists who addressed the interaction between the morphology and behavior of living beings with the environment. Among them: Empedocles of Agrigento (495-444 BC), Aristotle of Stagira (384-322 BC), Saint Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274), Buffon (1707-1788), Lamarck (1744-1829) and Charles Darwin (1809-1882). To epistemologically substantiate the subject, we use the works of Ernst Mayr (1961; 1998; 2005; 2008; 2009), and to discuss the logic of construction of scientific thinking we based ourselves, mainly, on Kopnin (1978). The initial review corpus of academic papers (theses and dissertations) consisted papers using as descriptors "initial teacher training", "philosophy of biology", "biological adaptation" and "biological evolution". Since scientific knowledge is the result of human beings’ interaction with each other and the environment, we abstract from classical works what we consider “private” to understand the concept of adaptation, listing these elements in a logical narrative that points to the theory of the evolution of species as the “universal” that integrates biological knowledge. With that, we consider the PPC pf the Biological Sciences Degree at UFG and from an initial analysis we identified, in the narrative that organizes the document, a perspective aligned to the valorization of biology based on a set of discoveries, contradictions, advances, limitations and setbacks; whose menus, however, does not reflect this concern. We understand that any effort aimed at training biology teachers must consider the internalist and externalist aspects that, throughout a historical process, have engendered Biology as unique Science.Item Administração segura de medicamentos: proposta de protocolo de orientações para equipe de enfermagem(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-07-15) Fortes, Alba Valéria Sales; Junqueira, Ana Luiza Neto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5630152521626068; Junqueira, Ana Luiza Neto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5630152521626068; Bezerra, Ana Lúcia Queiroz; Ribeiro, Luana Cássia MirandaThis paper aims to draw up a protocol on safe administration of medication intramuscularly to be made available to nursing staff. Methodology: descriptive study focused on the development of protocol for safe medication administration intramuscularly which were formulated based on the standards set by the scientific community, following pre-existing technical guidance grounded in clinical evidence, which were collected through a integrative literature review the following topics emerged: theoretical concepts related to anatomical issues for each drug administration region intramuscularly, as well as their graphic representations; factors that interfere directly and / or indirectly in making the decision as the best region of choice for the administration of injection; advantages and disadvantages of each region for drug administration and drug application techniques in the recommended intramuscular regions, with illustrations of them. Results: Prepared protocol with guidance on safe practices for administering medication intramuscularly, which includes the detailed description of the technique, images of anatomic regions, as well as key recommendations to this procedure, such as the correct choice of the site to be accessed, following recommended safety order, age, size of the needle, maximum volume to be injected. Conclusions: The activity of care, as well as complex, requires reliability to the assistance provided through insurance procedures and in this light, the construction of the protocol is notorious for carrying out the activities in which nursing is involved, since it is configured as a guiding instrument of care, promoting the work process of the nursing team regarding the safe administration of medications. The use of this instrument can help the practitioner to maximize therapeutic effects of administered medication, minimizing or eliminating injury to the patient and discomfort associated with intramuscular injections.Item Adoção de tecnologia na pecuária leiteira e conservação ambiental: estudo de caso em propriedades rurais de Silvânia, Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-12-23) Fernandes, Hayla da Silva; Collevatti, Rosane Garcia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9979596352166630; Miziara, Fausto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3275079358565458; Couto, Victor Rezende Moreira; Silva, Daniela de Melo e; Miziara, FaustoThe necessity to produce food should incorporate environmental protection, knowing that it´s the main responsible for occupation of land and native areas also causes important impacts at the landscape. Produce food to supply a world growing population brings the challenge of increase productivity of properties decreasing the impact per unit of feed produced. Cattle raising is the main responsible for anthropization in Brazilian biomes, and especially dairy activity are very important and present in most of Brazilian proprieties, characterized by a big range of diversity producer profiles, majority by pasture systems and big heterogeneity in the technology employment. The answers to challenges presented, in general way, imply in a standard of technology adoption who can articulate a better productivity and less environmental impact. Thus, this research looked for measure the relationship between the technology standard and environmental impacts in dairy properties at Silvânia, Goiás. Were worked the technology employee on that and conservation rates of vegetation local provided by Long Term Research Program (PELD) to generate the present work. In this research was verified that properties who utilized more technology impacted less the environment, measured by conservation indicators, besides be more productive, diluting the impact per milk litter produced. Therefor there is a strong and positive relationship between adoption of technology and less environmental impact. It is worth mentioning that properties who use artificial insemination also presents more productivity (milk production in relation with total number of animal at the farm) in comparison with farms non users. A bigger efficiency at utilization of productive resources in general way also are associated with less environmental impact.Item Adoção tardia: perspectiva da equipe interprofissional da 8ª Região do Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-11-22) Souza, Rodrigo Rosa de; Macedo Filha, Maurides Batista de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8107202394331830; Corrêa, Edwiges Conceição Carvalho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8128417861243933; Corrêa, Edwiges Conceição Carvalho; Macedo Filha, Maurides Batista de; Santana, Juliana Prates; Tavares, Silvana BelineThe theme implicates the perspective of the Interprofessional Team of the 8th Region of the Court of Justice - TJGO on late adoption, that understandands that the older the children who are in institutional care, the lower the chances of being adopted. In this sense, the general objective of this study is to understand the challenges faced by the Interprofessional Team of the 8th Region of the TJGO to guarantee the right to family and community coexistence of those children and adolescents. Based on the analysis of the emergence of this Team's work, it is sought to show that this theme needs interdisciplinary work to guarantee the human rights of children and adolescents who are neglected in the world of adoption. The dissertation has a qualitative-quantitative approach. It uses the methodology of bibliographic and documentary research, statistical data from the national adoption system - SNA and interviews with professionals from the Team of the 8th Region of the TJGO to deepen the knowledge of the topic addressed. It was supported by Lawrence Bardin's method of content analysis, based on categories of analysis on motivation to work, the role of the team, the relationship between adoption and human rights and examples of concrete cases. It was concluded that the age factor of the children, added to the color, disability and group of siblings, make late adoptions a rarity in that region.Item Agronegócio, desenvolvimento e Sustentabilidade: Um estudo de caso em Rio Verde GO(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2010-08-12) GUIMARÃES, Gislene Margaret Avelar; RIBEIRO, Francis Lee; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1763392088652134; ECHEVERRÍA, Agustina Rosa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5515276044247189The development has been taken as a synonymous with economic growth in most contemporary societies. Nevertheless, the emergence of social problems, ecological and economic ones has also shown the inadequacy of this conception. In this context, the idea of sustainable development emerges as a way to reconcile economic growth, social justice and ecological prudence, covering different theoretical and ideological positions and configuring a field of dispute about how to understand- taking in social practices - the development and the sustainability. The present work analyzed the development of agribusiness in Rio Verde (Goias, Brazil) related with social and ecological dimensions, mediated by the institutional dimension. The results obtained from research and application of the Delphi Panel on Sustainability for temporal analysis of sustainable development indices in the municipality indicate the growth of agribusiness has contributed to improvements in living conditions of the population, but has brought negative impacts to environment. Also indicates the changes in production systems, due to social and institutional pressures, that can result in a development model more sustainable.
