Item Afetividade em Wallon e Vigotski para a superação da dicotomia indivíduo e sociedade(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-06-07) Peralta, Ana Laura Brasil; Soares, Renata Leite; Soares, Renata Leite; Vieira, Alessandra Oliveira MachadoThis final work has the objective of investigating de concept of affection in the work of Henri Wallon and Lev S. Vigotski in order to gather arguments for the overcoming of the apparent dichotomy between individual and society in the field of Psychology of Education. To this end, it was needed to debate the relationship between Psychology and Education and the dualistic conceptions in this topic and present the possibilities and the theoretical approaches of Wallon and Vigotski. This research is theoretical and bibliographic of the following works: As origens do caráter da criança (1971) and A evolução psicológica da criança (1968), by Wallon, and Teoria das emoções (1933/2004) and Psicologia da arte (1925/2001), by Vigotski. Therefore, it was found that it’s important rescue this authors that are founded in the historical and dialectical conceptions of the mental life for the effective formation and the building of a just and equitable for all and each.Item A afetividade na educação infantil: uma análise bibliográfica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-02-27) Santos, Laura Ferreira; Santos, Soraya Vieira; Santos, Soraya Vieira; Paranahyba, Jordana de Castro BalduínoThe main theme of this work is affectivity and the impact of affective manifestations in the teaching and learning process in Early Childhood Education. Specifically, it aimed to understand how affectivity constitutes the human being and its repercussions in the classroom; to verify how the academic literature presents the affection of the teacher and the students and their contributions to learning, and to discuss the importance and uniqueness of Early Childhood Education within the scope of Basic Education. This is a qualitative and bibliographic research, which is based on authors such as Vygotsky (1994), Wallon (1995) and commentators such as Leite (2012), Mahoney and Almeida (2007), Machado, Facci and Barroco (2011) for the discussion about affectivity and the development of the child's psyche; and in Oliveira (2013), for a brief understanding of the constitution of Early Childhood Education. A search was carried out for scientific articles published in the Periodicals Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) with the descriptor “affectivity in Early Childhood Education”, in the last 10 years, and 20 articles were found. The analysis of these articles considered the understanding of affectivity in Early Childhood Education and the contributions to the teaching-learning of children, in addition to examining the methodologies used, the main authors and the associated themes. The study showed that much has been produced in recent years on the subject, but there is still a vast field for study on affectivity. Considering the relevance for the formation of the subject in its entirety, it is the role of the teacher, especially in Early Childhood Education, to understand the importance of affectivity in the development of the child and in the construction of knowledge.Item Afrobetizar: personagens negros na obra de Kiusam de Oliveira(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-05-31) Silva, Jaqueline Silvestre; Pietrafesa, José Paulo; Pietrafesa, José Paulo; Silva, Kellen Cristina Prado da; Souza, Érika Fernanda Pereira deThe title of this work is “Afrobetizar: black characters in the work of Kiusam de Oliveira”, it arose from the concerns of observing children's literature, which is such a present instrument in pedagogical work. It makes a brief historical outline highlighting the relevant points of the path that black people have taken in the history of Brazil, their obstacles to accessing education, structural and institutional racism, and how these issues reflect in the school context. Its main objective is to approach “afrobetizar” as a new concept of teaching-learning that involves Afro- Brazilian and African history and culture, with this new approach being a possibility of anti-racist education in practice. It has the specific objectives of understanding how racism affects education and reflecting on how children's literature interferes in the formation of readers in early childhood. The fact that few black characters appear in children's stories, it was noted that this approximates their absence in the books and/or reinforces stereotypes and bad conceptions of being black. On the other hand, the work seeks to highlight the importance of Kiusam de Oliveira as a black author, educator and creator of content that is relevant to overturning paradigms about black identity in childhood and combating racism. She portrays black characters positively in her work, and gives them protagonism and representativeness. Two works by the author were analyzed: the books The world in Tayó’s black power and The Akin's black power, both with black protagonists whose trajectories are marked by their curly hair in a black power hairstyle.Item Alegoria da destruição: retroflexão e o surgimento de doenças autoimunes(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-02-08) Schetinger, Clara Luz; Lima, Priscilla Melo Ribeiro de; Lima, Priscilla Melo Ribeiro de; Lago, Marilucia Pereira doThe human is a being of relationship, both with himself and with the world that surrounds him. Therefore, to understand the subject's illness process, it is necessary to be aware of their relationships and the way they are in Contact, observing their blockages and fluidity. Contact blockade, specifically retroflexion, can be a triggering factor for the physical body to become ill, whereas faced with an imbalance, the body seeks a way to demonstrate its need to restore homeostasis, presenting symptoms as a means of communicating their claim for a change. Thereby, Gestalt therapy proposes a holistic approach at this individual, comprehending their way of being-in-the-world and how their Contact relationships may result in the development of an autoimmune disease, specifically Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP)Item Alfabetização escolar e digital: diálogos sobre a formação de escritores e leitores do século 21(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-06) França, Taynara Burjack de; Lopes, Rosemara Perpétua; Lopes, Rosemara Perpétua; Ferraz, Elzimar Pereira NascimentoLiteracy in Brazil is associated, throughout its history, with the lettering process, and there is no distinction, in school practice, between what is literacy and what is lettering. This absence seems to interfere in the formation of the contemporary writer and reader, because, by not privileging school literacy, it also does so with digital literacy, with the lecture of lettering instead of school and digital literacy, which are sometimes coincident and sometimes not. Thus, this work has the general objective of investigating whether the literacy of the Portuguese language in the early years of elementary school is related to the knowledge about Digital Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), being two specific objectives, which consisted of analyzing the formation of the writer and reader in school and digital literacy and identify what are the new skills required in the formation of the contemporary writer and reader. The research problem was formulated in the following terms: how does the literacy of the Portuguese language occur in the early years of elementary school in dialogue with digital literacy? The methodological approach of this research is qualitative, and the study was developed through a literature review, prioritizing the analysis of certain books and online journals, having as theoretical references Soares (2004), Rojo (2007), Lalueza, Crespo, Camps (2010) and Kenski (2003). As a result, it was found that school and digital literacy occur in different spaces and each of them requires certain materials and purposes, but have as links the student, who uses the two spaces, and writing, the conventionalized graphic signs, as well as these can establish convergent modes, through YouTube, m-learning and transmedia narrative, among others. Thus, it was concluded that literacy must be initiated at school, since there are mediating teachers, curricula, and methodologies prepared for the teaching and learning of the conventionalized language, but, right after that, it is necessary to alphabetize for the digital environment, since we are part of a technological generation and, by human history, technology will not recede, but will bring more and more possibilities of evolution of the tools, their uses and, consequently, of the human capacities and transformations.Item Altas habilidades e superdotação: quem são esses sujeitos invisíveis?(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-13) Almeida, Maria Alice Bernardes de; Viana, Cynthia Maria Jorge; Viana, Cynthia Maria Jorge; Araújo, Michell Pedruzzi MendesThe present research aims on reflecting about people with High Abilities/Giftedness and who these individuals are, general characteristics and their intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships. It also reflects on social and emotional matters which surround those individuals' universes. This is a bibliographic study of qualitative approach, which uses theoretical sources such as scientific articles, books, academic texts and laws related to the theme. Among the main authors who supported this discussion are: Andrade et al. (2021), Antipoff e Campos (2010), Araújo (2011), Barreto e Mettrau (2011), Chagas e Fleith (2011), Cunha e Rondini (2020), Fernandes e Viana (2009), Martins, Pedro e Ogeda (2016), Mendonça, Rodrigues e Capellini (2020), Oliveira et al. (2021), Rangni e Costa (2014) e Virgolim (2007; 2021). The study is divided into two chapters. In the first one, the main goal was to discuss the definitions and characteristics which devise the high abilities/giftedness field. Furthermore, discusses these individuals' interpersonal relationships, highlighting possible social vulnerability situations. The second chapter talks about this individual’s relationship between school and family matters. Bringing an emphasis on social and emotional subjects and the exhaustion of teachers and students. The high abilities/giftedness field is complex and filled with different aspects, therefore this study highlights the importance of deepening researches in order to lower myths and tabus to facilitate the identification of these individuals, to provide a proper educational background and orientation to families and professionals who will work directly with these people – specially teachers and psychologists – who work and will work in the field.Item O analfabetismo funcional e as desigualdades sociais no Brasil(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-02-03) Souza, Rakel Brandão de; Fonseca, Maria Aparecida Rodrigues da; Lima, Daniela da Costa Britto Pereira; Lima, Daniela da Costa Britto Pereira; Fonseca, Maria Aparecida Rodrigues da; Oliveira, Fabiane Lopes deThe present work, which aims to identify the implications between functional illiteracy and social inequalities in Brazil, consisted of questioning the relationships established between these two themes and the materiality of inequalities in the country. To meet this problem and this objective, the present research was elaborated, which is of a qualitative approach with the use of quantitative data, of the bibliographical and documental type. Through the analysis of data obtained from the bibliographic survey carried out in virtual collection repositories, it was possible to reflect on the relationship between functional illiteracy and social inequalities in the country. The results indicate that the reality of extreme inequality within Brazil has repercussions on Education in all its stages and modalities, conceiving illiteracy as a historical social issue in the country and, which is related to inequalities, since functional illiteracy is present and deeper among subjects of a given socioeconomic class, ethnic-racial group, region and gender. Therefore, functional illiteracy does not only denote intra school determinants and problems, it is the repercussion of social, historical, race and gender determinants in which unequal subjects are conditioned. These determinants and constraints are the main causes of the interruption of the literacy process, in general, of schooling. At the end of the study, it was verified that functional illiteracy has always been considered a necessary and important theme, the target of some policies aimed at its reduction and the field of study of other areas of knowledge, other than education.Item Uma análise do Festival de Cultura e Festejos Populares: a busca por um processo de ensino-aprendizagem decolonial(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-13) Paula, Karollina Agatha Schineider de; Real, Márcio Penna Corte; Real, Márcio Penna Corte; Silva, Kellen Cristina Prado daThis undergraduate thesis and the research behind it aimed to investigate and present, based on decoloniality, reflections on the construction and presentation of the Festival of Culture and Popular Feasts. It takes place in a private school in Goiânia. The undergraduate thesis embraces the conception of decoloniality and (Afro) Brazilian culture, to analyze the constitution of the Festival. It is intended to build the defense of the construction of education in a decolonial perspective. The decolonial struggle is sought as an enabler for the construction of a society constituted by citizens aware of the consequences of colonialism, endowed with the ability to work together in favor of an egalitarian and just society. Hence, qualitative research is used to understand and interpret the content. It takes as a foundation the (Afro) Brazilian popular culture, decolonial studies, countercolonial and anti-racist themes in the defense of a formal education that encompasses history, African and (Afro) Brazilian culture in the teaching grade, as determined by Law 10.639 /03.Item Aprendizagem da matemática na educação da criança(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-11-11) Teodoro, Gleyciane Rodrigues; Corbiniano, Simone Alexandre Martins; Corbiniano, Simone Alexandre Martins; Souza, Renato Sardinha deThis research aims to investigate the values of Mathematics Education within Early Childhood and Middle Schooling by studying the principles, difficulties and possibilities appearing in the contributions of a few of its important authors, and seeking to understand the origin of negative attitudes from most people with regards to learning the subject matter in Brazil. The methodology used was bibliographical review in search of answers to research developed in the field presenting the benefits of teaching Mathematics in early childhood. The role of the teacher in the construction of knowledge was also observed, as well as his/her role as mediator and orchestrator of the entire process of knowledge development, understanding the importance of a profound evaluation of teaching practices withregards to content application. Also observed were the dynamics that Mathematics ignites in other areas of knowledge, valuing curiosity in the child as well as previously acquired knowledge. Mathematical language leads to the unhinging of the flow of ideas which traditional education with its focus on memorization cannot reach. Considering the teaching of both problematization and problem-solving in early childhood education curricula, a Mathematics of the future points to a reformulation of approaches to learning, answering the constant needs of intellectual development.Item Arte na educação infantil enquanto experiência formativa: reflexões sobre as práticas pedagógicas e a mediação do professor(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-11-11) Dourado, Vilsiany Dias Moreira; Oliveira, Fabiane Lopes de; Bellido, Luciana Ponce; Oliveira, Fabiane Lopes deThe work presented is a study of art in early childhood education as a formative experience. It aims to understand how and why to teach science in Early Childhood Education through practical classes, in a broader perspective, to understand the way that practical classes provide learning. To this end, we systematize this text in two moments, the first chapter allows us to understand the knowledge about teaching natural sciences in Early Childhood Education through scientific research and its importance of carrying out pedagogical planning, and the second chapter about what is teaching through investigation and ways of applying practical classes through collected experiments, whether through other scientific articles, but also through the internship carried out at Cmei Criança Cidadã, in which it was possible to carry out observations and collect data. From this collection we can reach final conclusions about the relevance of practical science classes in Early Childhood EducationItem Aspectos históricos da música e sua importância para a educação infantil(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-05-27) Meloni, Carmen de Pina; Silva, Simei Araújo; Silva, Simei Araújo; Giraldi, Luciana Ponce BellidoAfter teaching as an auxiliary teacher at Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil (CMEI) and in a pre-school institution in Goiânia, the researcher noticed that music was not used as much as it should with 4 and 5-year-old children. As a result of that, the present work discusses historical aspects of the relevance of music for humanity’s cultural development. Music’s function and its modifications throughout time made the creation of a thematic project for children’s education possible. The researcher also tried to instigate professionals without any musical specialization to study more about its theoretic and methodological aspects, in order for them to learn more about the subject. The main goal of the bibliographical research was to stablish a relationship between musical historical aspects and the creation of an integral thematic project for children’s education, focusing on music and involving areas such as social and natural sciences, math and languages. This work proposes itself to explore different possibilities in sound production, encouraging teachers to reinvent their practice with music as well as helping children to identify new sounds, timbres, musical heights and intensities. Therefore, children can understand the importance of rhythms and sound and get motivated to listen to music and repertoires for their own age. The research indicates the many benefits brought by music in the school’s daily life. It also allows the development of many abilities in a growing child, giving them moments of pleasure, fun, sensibility, attention and concentration during socio-cultural and pedagogical activities.Item Aspectos sobre deficiência, inclusão e preconceito: reconhecimento dos direitos fundamentais como dignidade(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-11-05) Vilela, Paula Moreno; Corbiniano, Simone Alexandre Martins; Corbiniano, Simone Alexandre Martins; Oliveira, Ana Flávia Teodoro de MendonçaPeople with disabilities are still the target of a lot of prejudice, as a consequence of social and materialistic values of contemporary society, values that need to be deconstructed and reinterpreted, which is why the choice of the theme is justified. This work has as general objective, to understand the relationship between prejudice, disability, inclusion from the historical landmarks, observing the whole process involving the adaptation and acceptance of people with disabilities in society. As a methodology, bibliographical research was used, using the deductive methodology, to analyze the prejudice faced by people with disabilities. The bibliographical research resulted in the collection of several articles, some addressing the main theme, about prejudice, disability and inclusion, especially in Brazilian education. Prejudice against people with disabilities is still quite expressive in today's societies, requiring the deconstruction of such values. The fight against the prejudice of people with disabilities in society is arduous, making it necessary for the effective participation of the State and public authorities in order to provide means to raise awareness of the population and social inclusion of people with disabilities, in addition to inspecting and punishing those who do not respect the dictates imposed in relation to this inclusion.Item O atendimento educacional especializado a pessoas surdas no Centro Especial Elysio Campos-GO: um estudo de caso(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-13) Sousa, Lays Gonçalves Rodrigues de; Araújo, Michell Pedruzzi Mendes; Araújo, Michell Pedruzzi Mendes; Pires, Edna Misseno; Silva, Rute Léia Augusta daThis study aimed to understand how the specialized educational service in a school that works with the bilingual educational proposal contributes to the processes of communication and schooling of the person with deafness. This research was carried out with teachers of specialized educational services at the Centro Especial Elysio Campos located at the Associação dos Surdos in the city of Goiânia-Go. Thus, this research is of a qualitative nature and is configured, in terms of the investigation plan, as a case study. As an instrument for data production, we applied a questionnaire. The data obtained were described and analyzed in the light of the assumptions of the authors Vigotski (2007), Freire (1987), Bakhtin (2006) among other collaborators who address the relevance of the act of communicating and expressing their ideas as a primordial need for human beings. The results obtained show that the researched school favors the holistic development of deaf subjects, being in line with what many contemporary researchers who research the schooling process of the deaf advocate, and the specialized educational service offered complements the educational needs of the deaf subject in the context of the bilingual proposal, Furthermore, it is noteworthy that professionals who work in the AEE of the school studied understand that Libras is the first language of the deaf and Portuguese, in the written form, is the second language.Item O atendimento educacional especializado no contexto da pandemia da covid-19: a perspectiva de uma docente da rede municipal de educação de Goiânia-GO(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-02-08) Silva, Daniela Marra e; Araújo, Michell Pedruzzi Mendes; Araújo, Michell Pedruzzi Mendes; Santos, Soraya VieiraThe present work aims to understand, within the scope of the AEE of a school in the municipal network of Goiânia, the transition process from Emergency Remote Teaching, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, to face-to-face teaching. Thus, a case study was carried out, with a qualitative approach, in which data were obtained through a structured interview developed with a teacher from the municipal education network of Goiânia-GO, who works in the multifunctional resource room of the Specialized Educational Service. . The data obtained were analyzed in light of the theoretical assumptions of the historical-cultural perspective of Vigotski (2000; 2010; 2022) and collaborators in the area. As results obtained, it is highlighted how the pandemic context influenced the trajectory of students who received care during the isolation period and the resumption of face-to-face teaching with the necessary safety adaptations. In this context, it was revealed how the specialized educational service professional mediated the pedagogical planning in this period and what pedagogical support and resources she received. The teacher presents the room in which she works and shares the scarcity of resources and materials available for care. In this way, official documents that systematize the organization of the multifunctional resource room were analyzed, comparing with the reality offered in a room of the Municipal Education Network of Goiânia. In addition, stands out the sharing of the feeling experienced during the Covid-19 pandemic by the teacher and how the support of families during this moment was essential to contribute to the service, strengthening school-family relations, enabling a more intrinsic contact with the reality of each student served.Item Autoridade pedagógica na educação infantil: concepções e práticas(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-11) Santana, Izabel Cristina Barbosa de; Araújo, Denise Silva; Araújo, Denise Silva; Neto, Pedro Adalberto Gomes de OliveiraIn this work, some conceptions and practices of pedagogical authority in Early Childhood Education are investigated. It is assumed as a general objective: to reflect on the authority of teaching work in the educational scope of daycare and preschool, from a pedagogical praxis that enables the child's autonomy and emancipation. To this end, qualitative bibliographic research was proposed, carried out through a search in databases and institutional repositories, in which articles, theses and dissertations, as well as books and official documents, were selected for the theoretical basis of the present research. The theme was discussed from three essential educational concepts to understand the constitutive processes of pedagogical authority: the traditional and conservative educational concept of Émile Durkheim; the critical and emancipatory conceptions of Hannah Arendt and Paulo Freire. The reflection carried out in this research allowed us to understand that the relationships of affection and care between teacher and child in Early Childhood Education are relevant constructs for the constitution of teaching authority at this stage. The process of establishing pedagogical authority in Early Childhood Education is long, diversified and continuous, which demands a teaching practice that respects the cognitive and emotional limitations and specificities of the child so that he or she feels welcomed and respected in the school environment and, in this way, can be inserted into an autonomous and emancipatory training process.Item A BNCC de 2019: leitura crítica da área de ciências humanas nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-05-17) Silvério, Lídia Fernandes; Gomide, Cristina Helou; Gomide, Cristina Helou; Ribeiro, Mirian Bianca do Amaral; Fernandes, RuskaiaThis work aimed to understand the final proposal of the BNCC, for the area of human sciences, in the Early Years of Elementary Education, based on reflections on the fundamental categories of Human Sciences and the role of the Law in the history of the Brazilian Nation. Thus, he proposed to present reflections and analyze the fundamental categories of Human Sciences, presenting the construction of our notion of history in Brazil and the creation of the humanities curriculum since the 19th century, discussing through a critical reading of BNCC as Public Policy in Brazil. For the generation of research data, a qualitative methodological approach was used, which was based on the bibliographic debate. Therefore, it was found that although the BNCC appears as a new proposal for curricula, with regard to the humanities, it still carries (between the lines) elements of an ideal of nation that has been reissued.Item A boniteza do educar: Paulo Freire por uma educação libertadora(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-02-15) Machado, Valda de Fatima da Fonseca; Viana, Cynthia Maria Jorge; Viana, Cynthia Maria Jorge; Oliveira, Fabiane Lopes deThe purpose of this work is to discuss, based on educator Paulo Freire, the aspects of a liberating education, which considers the student as a subject capable of overcoming social oppression and transforming the world in which he lives. This is a qualitative research of the bibliographical type, which has as reference some theoretical sources, such as books, academic texts and an open letter to educators prepared by Paulo Freire himself. The books studied were: “Educação como Prática da Liberdade” (FREIRE, 1967), in which the educator defends an education for freedom and emphasizes the importance of critical reflection; “Conscientização: teoria e prática da libertação - uma introdução ao pensamento de Paulo Freire” (FREIRE, 1979), in which he exposes pedagogy with the intention of leading the student to be an individual aware of his/her reality; “Pedagogia do Oprimido” (FREIRE, 2016), in which he reveals “banking” education and the possibilities of a liberating education; “Pedagogia da Autonomia: saberes necessários à prática educativa” (FREIRE, 2018), in which he argues that teaching is not transferring knowledge, but acting in a democratic way, giving the student voice and time; “Pedagogia da Esperança: um reencontro com a Pedagogia do Oprimido” (FREIRE, 1992), in which he brings the idea of hope as an action to modify the oppressions faced in the world. Paulo Freire's archives available online were also consulted in order to outline some excerpts from the educator's biography and his importance for Brazilian education. For better organization, the work is divided into two chapters: the first brings elements from Paulo Freire's life; and the second exposes his understanding of a liberating education that enables the student to critically reflect on his performance in and with the world. The beauty of Paulo Freire's education lies in defending an education based on a dialogical relationship between educator and student, in a process of mutual respect, in which both are learning and teaching each other.Item Branquitude e educação: levantamento e análise da produção acadêmica dos estudos contemporâneos(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-11-03) Teixeira, Charlene; Fonseca, Maria Aparecida Rodrigues da; Lima, Daniela da Costa Britto Pereira; Lima, Daniela da Costa Britto Pereira; Fonseca, Maria Aparecida Rodrigues da; Rego, Thabyta LopesThis research is part of the field of related studies on ethnic-racial relations for education in Brazil, as well as brings discussions and surveys on the main academic productions about the studies involving the theme of Branquitude in Brazil and their respective contributions in the educational area. The aim of this work is to carry out a bibliographic survey of the academic production of contemporary studies on Education Whiteness in Brazil. The methodology is based on the exploratory nature, through a qualitative approach and a bibliographic survey through studies that present ideas and/or hypotheses about the theme. The results were centralized in the significant absence of studies that address the theme of Whiteness in education, in addition to the need to address and explain the studies that involve the concepts of race, ethnicity and racism in the area of education. It is concluded that this work can contribute in reflections necessary for education and anti racist combat, in the same way that advances in new research on the subject, because they will provide support, analyses and theoretical foundations necessary to assist in the solution of social problems so indispensable for our Brazil.Item A brincadeira e os processos de socialização infantil(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-06-07) Miranda, Raimunda Mendes de; Viana, Cynthia Maria Jorge; Viana, Cynthia Maria Jorge; Bittar, MonaThis paper presents a theoretical bibliographical research on how play influences the child's socialization processes. The importance of the theme is due to the fact that this represents a veryrelevant subject for the formation of pedagogues, since children, especially those in early Childhood Education, spend a lot of time playing and, with this exercise of playing, they can socialize with other children and build their worldview. To prepare this paperwere studied the texts by Miranda (1989), Kramer (2006), Oliveira (1994), Kishimoto (1994), Camilo (2020), and Borba (2006), for being authors who discuss the social development of the child. In the first chapter, the relation between childhood and society is dimensioned in order to understand how their socialization process works. The child learns socially, but society sees the child in an incomplete way, without dimensioning his/her social experiences, especially when it comes to education. This chapter discusses the child's socialization and the possibilities it presents. In the second chapter, play is presented as one of the most important factors in child socialization and is discussed in its dimensions of knowledge construction and socialization, besides bringing a reflection on the role of the school and educators to promote it without making it lose its characteristics.
